  1. Honestly an actual soft reboot this early in the theme's lifespan doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, especially considering this would mean 2 movies will always be completely absent from the 2018-2020 style.
  2. Isn't that to be expected when an entire wave of sets has just been revealed?
  3. Marcos Bessa just provided us with the designer info for the Flying Lesson set: Hogwarts: Flying Lesson Design: Marcos Bessa Graphic Design: Peter Kjærgaard and Djørdjæ Djørdjævic Which makes this the complete list:
  4. Nope, there aren't any. Their heads are all incredibly common and both torso variants appear in other sets as well.
  5. The Flying Lesson set has 4, Fluffy has 3 and the Chamber of Secrets uses 6. I've really come around to the new system and don't hate it as much as I used to (besides the horrible green roofs) but the excessive use of these useless 8x8's and the many panels and frames really annoys me.
  6. I said there wouldn't be any new species this year, it's only a 1 word difference but it's a very important one. All the dinosaurs that function as the sets' main selling points will be species we have gotten before but that doesn't mean they will be exact copies of past dinosaurs, so yes we can expect some recolors. Getting some updates to past molded parts for said species is possible but I'm not expecting any.
  7. So apparently the ending of the season already leaked as well? I haven't seen it as I don't want to see those kind of spoilers but they've really been doing a terrible job at keeping things under wraps these past few seasons.
  8. I personally really wouldn't mind if this is the Hogwarts they'll be expanding on for the coming years but I do really hope they switch back to the 2018-2020 colorscheme (dark tan for the rocks and DBG for the roofs). There's not a whole lot of iconic architecture left so most of the unmade Hogwarts-related content is focused on the interior of the castle, which would work much better with the new system than the old one considering the 2018-2020 interiors weren't all that good or spacious.
  9. Those are from the Sesame Street set: They could theoretically be included (with some printing ofc) in these sets but that would be pure speculation considering only the main dinosaurs of the sets are known. Either way I highly doubt these specific pieces would be used as baby Velociraptors and Compsognathus' don't look even remotely similar, reusing this mold would be unacceptable imo.
  10. A friend of mine also asked Marcos a question, this one related to the supposed Potions challenge in the Fluffy set. Marcos responded saying that as far as he knows it's just a small room added for more story and play options, though it can be anything we decide it to be I think it might be a glass ball for Divination. It would sorta clash with the one in the Great Hall that uses a Mysterio helmet but I have no clue what else it could be
  11. I will confirm that Wanda, Vision, Falcon, Bucky and Loki are all in the series. Even though that's kinda obvious
  12. Obviously We'll only get Jurassic sets with good PPR's if there aren't any molded dinosaurs included, just look at the D2C.
  13. Interesting bit of insight on the design process of the Fawkes set: designer Wes Talbott actually made a sketch model for our beloved Phoenix as an option when he was tasked with designing last years Hedwig set. He was later asked to take his sketch model for Fawkes and further develop it, resulting in this set.
  14. Obviously with a mere 12 figures there's gonna be some missing characters. I hope people will mostly focus on what we're getting instead of what we could've gotten.
  15. I mean... they're Jurassic sets. We never get fair PPR's
  16. Some shows will get more figures than expected and others less.
  17. I guess my hint was a bit too cryptic
  18. Especially considering he worked on all the playsets!
  19. I got kinda obsessed with finding out what the brown book in the CoS set is based on so after comparing it with a long list of in-universe books I ended up just asking Marcos Bessa. It is "Year with the Yeti", one of the books required for Lockharts classes! I also asked about the portrait of Hengist of Woodcroft they included in The Three Broomsticks, both the inclusion of this portrait and "Year with the Yeti" were ideas from graphic designer and Potterhead Peter Kjærgaard!
  20. Don't really have one considering they could be several different things.
  21. The body looks like it might be hollow, good place to put some "eaten" chocolate frogs
  22. Honestly the names don't offer all that much insight. They only say what species will be the main attraction for the sets and what kind of builds will be included, even finding out the sourcematerial is pure speculation (though if my assumptions are correct these sets could be very exciting).
  23. Who says they specifically chose 3?
