  1. Probably October 1st I'd like to see that, if you're a VIP you get the set later
  2. We really can't say. The latest I've seen sets going online is 10 in the morning. But we're talking about an Advent Calendar here, it's not even close to Christmas so the chance of them selling out is incredibly low (sets selling out on releaseday is pretty rare and most of the times only happens with D2C sets, except for the occasional exception ofc)
  3. The UCS Falcon will probably be around for a couple of years, it hasn't been too terribly long since lego finally finished their backlog of orders on that set so I don't really see why they would put it out of production now
  4. It seems like Marvel is now definetely trying to push people towards the new characters, the range of older Marvel content on Disney+ at launch is pathetic to say the least. So much for more Phase 1 - 2 sets...
  5. Obviously we want everything we don't have yet
  6. We saw the Marvel and Ninjago packs pretty early last year, I believe around April. The Wizarding World pack leaked a few weeks later and the Jurassic World pack leaked pretty late (like a week before the event was announced)
  7. And Minions and Trolls are extremely 50/50, most people either hate their guts or love them so since lego wants to appeal to as much people as possible that makes it especially unlikely
  8. True, but there isn't much else it could be. - It's not series 21, we only get one ''normal'' series every year - It's not Disney Series 3 because there would only be a 1 year gap - Besides the fact they can't make Star Wars and Marvel CMF's right now they probably still can't by the time this series would come out, even if the Disney-Hasbro contract changed (which seems rather unlikely) - Pretty much all reasons why Harry Potter Series 2 would make a ton of sense
  9. Like I said, we know there are 3 CMF's coming out. One of which will be based on DC Comics and one will be Series 20. This has been confirmed by multiple leakers
  10. In this thread people are discussing things based on a leaked head. In the Harry Potter thread people were doing nothing more than wishlisting. And besides it being nothing more than wishlisting we've already had the same exact speculation-discussion 3-4 times, that's why people wanted it to end
  11. We can only guess, though due to the promotional images I'm guessing the Falcon will have Lando, Chewy, Poe, D-0, BB-8 and 2 more characters (both ''normal'' Falcons have had 7 figures)
  12. Which is exactly why I suggested to stop this discussion
  13. It's not confirmed yet, we only know CMF1 is for DC Super Heroes and CMF2 for the normal CMF (I believe Series 20). But even though we don't currently know what CMF3 will be you could definetely argue it being Harry Potter related. - It has been 2 years by the time this CMF comes out, which could be enough of a gap - Series 1 was one of the best performing CMF's ever, so from a business point of view it would be incredibly stupid not to make a second series - There are more than enough new characters and variants to make up a few more series - As @HalfBloodPrince said the releasedate lines up with Series 1
  14. Why do people even think it's a Thor head? First of all Thor has never before been represented with orange-ish hair, always blond or tan. Second, if Unworthy Thor is included in the next wave that would be like one of the most random figure-choices they have ever done in this theme. It just doesn't make any sense for it to be Thor, it looks like Obi-Wan and it leaked alongside Anakin. In conclusion: it's Obi-Wan
  15. By the time they're done with movies 5-8 they'll already be able to remake most of the Hogwarts sets, so there would be no gap between Hogwarts releases. And even if there was a gap lego would just slap different rooms together with a recognizable exterior (they could easily put together a few classrooms and make the exterior resemble the long gallery with it's Belltowers). A Diagon Alley D2C wouldn't be about giving us the entire street, but giving us the most recognizable buildings. Like you said: there are dozens of shops in this street, and I must admit that though I'd say I'm a Wizarding World fan I wouldn't come much farther than the shops in the main street. For a D2C Lego would select the most iconic and appealing buildings, while also trying to keep the layout of the set as accurately as possible. Why do you think the GWP included Gringotts, Ollivanders, FaB, QQS and WWW? Those shops definetely aren't located next to one another, it's all about recognizeability while also keeping a bit of accuracy. And like we've discussed before, they could easily recreate the GWP at a larger scale with around 2500-3000 pieces. Diagon Alley is more targeted to fans anyway, why do you think they made it a D2C last time? WWW is easily a set on it's own, just like Gringotts It could just be me, but this discussion isn't really going anywhere. We don't even know if Harry Potter will get another D2C! So maybe it's best to put this conversation to rest, especially since we've held this conversation before and it's nothing more than pure wishlisting.
  16. He must be in either the Y-Wing or the X-wing, any of the other sets wouldn't make much sense (though I would gladly see him included in the Falcon as I'm picking that one up for sure!) Also he's a Resistance Pilot, he's not specifically attached to X-Wings. I'd recon most Resistance Pilots would be able to fly any ship they have in their (very limited) arsenal
  17. Duel on Naboo, Death Star Escape, those kinds of sets. The ones depicting some of the iconic moments for 30$ with 3 figures? But now that I think about it I actually don't remember Mustafar Padme ever being confirmed to come in that set, so it could be very similair to the Starkiller Base set
  18. Those look really great! What pieces did you use for Padma? I'm pretty sure those are the arms and head of Barbara Gordon (TLBM versions), but I'm not sure where the torso's from Wagtail looks great, good to see he's a Batman fan too
  19. Honestly, that's your own fault. I could've 100% guaranteed you that wouldn't be the last Cap in a while, he is still one of Marvel's most well known heroes even though he's now no longer in the MCU. And besides, why would they make a brand new mold for Cap's helmet if they were only going to use it once? People have said it before: you can't judge sets by only one word, just wait till you see the sets before you say they're generic and uninteresting. For all you know we'll be getting Hawkeye's comicbook bike, it's a long shot but not out of the realm of possibility. Tons of people have said this, and ended up buying most sets anyway Most people who are picky with sets are the ones who either don't have a lot of money to spend on lego or are invested in multiple themes while also having a limited budget (like me)
  20. I wasn't referring to the size by the amount of pieces, but the size by the amount of baseplates. 32x64 is not a lot of space as a proper Gringotts would most likely already take up most of one baseplate. Though if I would have to stick to a 32x64 template I could imagine something like this in terms of width (taking in mind all buildings are open at the back and Gringotts and WWW are also open at the sides): - Weasley's Wizard Wheezes - 20 studs = 20 total, 44 left - Gringotts - 16 studs = 36 total, 28 left - Ollivanders: 10 studs = 46 total, 18 left - Flourish and Blotts and Quality Quidditch Supplies - both 9 studs = 64 total Add a nice pathway in front of that, maybe some signs and other displays (and some random owlcages to ensure @Roebuck buys the set ) and you've get a pretty perfect set. But just looking at this, I'd say 3 baseplates would be the way to go as I feel like Ollivanders, FaB and QQS would be way too small because of how large Gringotts and WWW are.
  21. If that torso and leg combination is true that would be great! They look really cool
  22. If you're talking about the Apocalypseburg set that higher price was a mixture of both the inclusion of DC characters and the massive amount of recolored parts
  23. You should never look at other D2C sets to try and guess what another D2C might be priced at without taking the license in mind. The next 2 D2C sets are the Disney Train and the Imperial Star Destroyer, Disney-licensed sets have always been ridiculously expensive because of said license. The ppr can differ significantly between those D2C's and the DC D2C just because of the license
  24. You do know that's actually not that large at all right? If they make one big D2C they would most likely give us a larger version of the GWP, which would definetely not fit on 2 baseplates
  25. So I guess we know finally know what the Bricktober Owen figure is actually based upon: his Jurassic World - The Ride costume. And for those saying ''it's based on the scenes he's training Blue and the other Raptors'', you might want to watch that scene again as he is just wearing his normal JWFK outfit. I always thought the figure was nothing more but the JWFK design colorswapped with an added protective glove but it's nice to know the outfit itself is based on something that actually exist
