  1. That's not up to lego. Lego has to make sets based on Episode 9 and Lucasfilm has chosen to essentially reuse a lot of OT shipdesigns for the ST. And it wouldn't make any sense for lego to make rebel/prequel based vehicles for the first wave of Episode 9 sets I wouldn't really mind, the grey and orange colorcombo looks pretty cool and hopefully it includes the Poe figure from the Y-Wing set (love the figure but I don't want the set)
  2. Just2Good just uploaded his review of the Advent Calendar. But be warned, he does actually show in which compartments the builds and figures are included! (Which is why I haven't watched it and I'm not going to)
  3. They always do that. They're looking for their 5 minutes of internet fame, upload a fake saying it's real and get angry when people call him/her out for it
  4. All the Praetorian Guards standing in cool fightposes while the Stormy just... stands there, doesnt help either But I do think it's hilarious
  5. I'm 99% sure Sprout will be in a future CMF series, mostly because of her required hair/hat combo. I don't think Madam Hooch will appear outside of the Bricktober pack, at least not in this Harry Potter run (she only has one costume)
  6. The people at customer service who answer questions like those know as much about future sets as we do, and on the occasion they're actually right it's nothing more than a coincidence. Don't put any faith in those answers
  7. Looking at the codename I'd say the battlepack will include 3 Sithtroopers (with some slight changes) and 1 normal Stormtrooper. And I really hope the boxart once again shows the Stormtrooper looking like he has no clue why he's included in that pack, just like with the Praetorian Guard set (pictured below but in a spoiler tag, in case people find a picture of an old set annoying for some reason)
  8. That's probably not going to fix anything, lego's light-on-dark printing has been awfull for a few years now. I'd say it's actually unacceptable considering how much we pay for those figures/sets People should really wonder why they bought that set if they didn't notice Arnold's arm during the build
  9. He's probably just tired of the same discussion being started again and again and again even though it previously didn't go anywhere. It happens a lot in the Harry Potter tread and I must agree it can be quite irritating
  10. So you're saying collecting lego isn't cool? Never thought I'd hear that from a lego fan....
  11. Those 2 sets being pushed back to August while being originally part of the June wave is much more likely, or they were always intended to release in August
  12. At least the scene itself was cool (except for that moment where he threw that creature (Armando?) out of the carriage, that was nothing more than a pointless ''this-is-the-villain'' thing)
  13. Designer: How many Venom heads can I use? LEGO: YES
  14. The Last Jedi wasn't really a remake, it was just different (which was what the fans wanted). Only Rian Johnson started making a Star Wars movie and ended up making Battlestar Galactica with Star Wars characters, stupid arcs and extremely childish humor. Also, everything we've seen from 9 doesn't look like 6 at all. So I'd say wait for the movie to come out untill you pass your judgement?
  15. Which makes my main thought on the Fantastic Beasts franchise even stronger: Fantastic Beasts should've been the first film in an overarching story about Gellert Grindelwald, his rise to power and his defeat at the hands of Youngledore. Especially as the character arcs for pretty much all main characters in FB ended in a satisfying way in the first movie, they kinda made the story for CoG feel a little weird. - Newt was just 'there' because he was the main character for the first film - Jacob got his memory back through the worst possible way from a writing perspective (and his arc in FB was the most finished of all of them!) - Queenie didn't really do much - Tina made at least some sense as she's from MACUSA I strongly believe the Second Task and Durmstrang Ship will come eventually but not in the coming 2 years. 2020 will be all about movies 5 and 6, 2021 will be all about movies 7 and 8. If the theme is still going strong after 2021 they will probably go through the movies once again to remake some of the sets and fill in some of the gaps
  16. There are tons of things the designers look at when reviewing the projects that achieved 10,000 supporters including licensing and playability/displayability but this wouldn't be the place to discuss them. Here is a link to the rules page though: https://ideas.lego.com/guidelines I do think it's worth sharing 1 rule here which I think refers to what you were saying: lego doesn't allow Ideas projects based on owned or previously owned IP's (except for the occasional Disney set apparently)
  17. Especially since moments before they said he was incredibly persuasive. It would've made much more sense to either: - start the movie with a group of Grindelwald followers attacking MACUSA and managing to free Grindy - start the movie with a newspaper montage similair to the first one saying Grindy has either escaped or was broken out of prison
  18. There is one really important thing to keep in mind when it comes to lego harry potter: the books don't matter, they only look at the movies (while sometimes putting a small reference to one of the books on a sticker)
  19. Because they appeared in only a single scene, and they were incredibly insignficant to the story (especially in the movies). - Trolley Witch is pretty much essential to the Hogwarts Express, making the train without her can't really be done - Susan Bones was more or less filler, and a great way to give us our first (generic) Hufflepuff outfit - Gabrielle Delacour had a decently sized part during the Second Task and is one of only 2 significant Beauxbatons students alongside her sister Bricktober isn't happening again now that ToysRUs is gone, even if they'd continue it themselves we would've heard something by now This is one of the most stupid plotpoints in the franchise. Why transport the most dangerous wizard of all time (at that moment) to a different prison if he's already safely locked up in New York? That's just asking for problems and incredibly cliche from a writing perspective Do you honestly think lego will ever do something like that?
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks! I think a Burrow set is very likely to come soon, though we really don't know if it would be based on HBP or DH. For us fans a DH version sounds way more interesting, especially because of the figures. But as the Burrow was involved in a battlesequence in the HBP movie I think that could very well happen as well, even though they've already done this scene in the 2010 wave. I think your list of figures sounds very good, but Elphias Doge and especially Aunt Muriel might be a little too deep for lego. Xenophilius Lovegood might be good figure for the potential CMF Series 2, as the Rookery doesn't sound like something they'd make in the first wave of DH sets. Charlie will also most likely never happen, as he never appeared in any of the movies.
  21. Lucky for me I really don't care about those figures. They look very nice but do I feel like I really need them? Nope!
  22. How high do you guys think the chances are for Cara Dune and the Mandalorian to appear in other future sets? The AT-ST is a pretty cool set but those 2 figures are really the only thing worth getting for me, and considering I have many other things to spend 60 euros on I'm definetely not buying that set
  23. This link should help https://www.bricktastic.nl/lego-star-wars/deze-lego-star-wars-sets-verschijnen-op-triple-force-friday-2019/
  24. I already said it most likely wouldn't happen, but I'd like to see that figure. My comment was more targeted at those who were talking about (tie-in) sets, which is even more unlikely than just one figure
  25. Or maybe they want the FB sets to have the same amount of accuracy as the HP sets, so they waited untill the movie came out to design more sets? It would certainly be something I agree with, otherwise we could end up with something similair to lego's CoG Grindelwald (which was made even worse by Grindelwald's design not changing between the first and second movie)
