Inflation was more targeted at you mentioning sets from 2010, though I do know inflation only plays a small part in lego hiking up their prices

You are looking into it way too much. It was just an answer to all the people asking if more Spiderverse characters would be in the sets after Noir leaked (on Instagram that is)

Though they are great for creating some heavier looking blasters

That project has recently gone under review alongside 9 other sets and the results aren't coming out untill early 2020. When they announce the results it usually takes half a year or more for a set to actually appear on shelves. So IF the Winnie the Pooh project becomes a set it wouldn't be on shelves untill late 2020

Taking another look at the owl alongside a picture of Errol I agree they aren't the same. So this owl could easily be from a theme like Hidden Side

If that was the case they would've certainly reused an existing owl, not make an entirely new print (and I believe this is also a brand new color for the mold)

The only lego theme were owls are prominent is Harry Potter and it does kinda look like Errol. As for the sets themselves I still don't believe we won't get any sets untill summer, why would those setnumbers leak more than 9 months before release? And D2C's always have a weird release date that differs from the normal waves, the Hogwarts D2C released 2 months after the theme started so it's entirely possible for this owl to be from HP

Don't forget DH was split into 2 movies!

Lego wants to have playfeatures in sets, other than the CoS Escape and Harry blowing up Aunt Marge there isn't really much to do. And if they decided to base it on PoA I really don't know how that Marge thing could work. And I wouldn't mind to get Privet Drive with the exact same car from the Willow set, that car has so many great pieces!

That would be a waste of 4 spots imo. None of those characters need any new molds and you can fairly easily throw them in a COS Privet Drive Escape set (most people wouldn't care if Marge doesn't actually appear in that movie). I'd rather get 4 more interesting characters that desperately need new molds

You can say that about 80% of LEGO's products, and definetely for every single Star Wars set. But besides the sets becoming more detailed you also need to have inflation in mind

Hawkeye is a little bit disappointing, especially since he's one of my favorite Avengers. Spidey Noir looks awesome! I might have to pick up that set just for him

Because 1) Marvel's quality is at an all-time low and 2) Star Wars sets are 99% rereleases. It may be a slow burn for the HP theme but at least we know it will be around for quite some time and everything we do get is all high-quality stuff

Thing is, we don't know anything about the DC wave except for the setnumbers

By the time they've finished up their first run of all the movies they will probably start doing rereleases, and after that we're also still missing a lot of sets. If done properly they could easily keep this theme going for a decade, especially since remakes aren't as redundant/unnecessary for the Harry Potter theme as with other themes. If they rerelease the Great Hall (with some spicy figures to get people who have the older set to buy it) you can just use it's pieces to expand Hogwarts, that's one of the benefits of having a gigantic castle as your main location

Maybe it's a brand new (and possibly pretty big) mold for that weird alien seen in bts pictures EDIT: thought I'd put a picture of the alien here too

The Marvel figures we've seen so far are pretty good (Thanos only if you ignore his awfull helmet). At a low pricepoint like that it's really nice to get such good figures alongside a small mech, and if you don't want the mech itself you can always just disassemble it and use it's pieces elsewhere. If we're talking about large $20+ mechs I completely agree we don't need more, but these $10 sets sound really great!
