I've never liked the old Fawkes mold, and returning it would be pretty stupid as the mold really doesn't fit in with the sets we have now. I just modded the brickbuilt Fawkes and I'm quite happy with the way it looks, no need to spend budget on new molds we don't really need

A 2x2 tile wouldn't make any sense proportion-wise. I'd rather not get a printed comic at all than one squashed on a 2x2

I think Fang could definetely be included in the CMF in some form, after all they did include a giant dolphin in the CMF series for the LEGO Batman Movie. A new mold similair to how he looked in the LEGO games but more like today's standards would be incredible

The wow factor probably had something to do with it. But if what you said was true for last years wave (the combination of theme and CMF budgets to make new molds) we could be in for a treat next year when it comes to new molds appearing in both the sets and the CMF

Especially the games. It would be so easy to make sets based of the stories of the lego games yet they don't do it. I'd rather get a set based on the story of DC Supervillains than the 1000th stupid-looking Batmech, and kids buy the games too so no one can say they wouldn't recognize things

GoF Voldy is the one we got in the Graveyard set, with the black robes. The greenish robes we got in the CMF are worn in the later movies

Only thing I dislike is how the arms make him look like a yellow minifigure without sleeves. Other than that its a great figure!

It's highly unlikely but what if lego uses the exact same CMF format for Series 2 as they did for Series 1? What would your lists look like with that format? The format being: 3 variants of the main trio - Harry, Ron, Hermione 7 students - Harry (invisibility cloak), Draco, Luna, Neville, Cho, Dean, Cedric 5 Hogwarts staff members - Dumbledore, Trelawney, Flitwick, Moody, Dobby 1 random villain - Voldemort 6 Fantastic Beasts characters - Newt, Tina, Queenie, Jacob, Credence, Graves

These are all comic sets but the characters look like their Avengers game counterparts were possible

Joker looks good but I think the green for the hair should be darker, faceprint is awesome! Supes is a bit meh, new expression is cool but that's about it

True, but a little variation wouldn't hurt. It would be such an improvement if they just gave us some other fairly common faces once in a while, especially as those are much easier to use outside of this theme

Yup, pricing for lego sets is pretty damn stupid here. A 100$ set should cost ~90 euro, not ~110/120 euro. At least we Europeans got lucky with the new pricehike of the CMF Series

Did you see the word 'discussion' in the title of the thread? Do you know the meaning of the word 'opinion'? Just because someone, myself included, likes the game design more than the comic design doesn't mean that person 1) hates the sourcematerial and 2) has to go find something else to enjoy and discuss. We're all fans here and we all have different opinions, if that's something you can't handle maybe you are the one who should go find something else.

Cap - great looking figure but a little underdetailed at the legs as always, would highly benefit from legprinting or dualmolded legs Thor - looks cool but I feel like his arms need more flesh coloring Aim soldier - looks pretty cool, infinetely better than that incredibly stupid comic design Spider-Girl - looks great, but wasn't her suit black with a white spider? Black Panther - one of the worst figures I've seen this year, yuck! So just because they're trying to do something different than the comics and you don't like it they should be ashamed of themselves? This new design (at least the videogame version) is way more interesting than the comic design
