  1. The IG droid in The Mandalorian is actually IG-11, a brand new character. Not IG-88
  2. It does look like the softer material. But I'm not sure as I don't have that fig
  3. I completely agree. I believe he's the first one with this shape, we did get soft capes in a CMF before though (Anna in Disney S2)
  4. I completely agree, especially since the show is getting a little better with most episodes. But since the show is hated by so many people and the 2 existing Resistance sets didn't sell that well (at least to my knowledge) I don't really see us getting more
  5. New pictures of Supes and Batmite (with accesories) are up. I definetely like their printed tiles, but I really hate how they used one of those old capes on Batmite. Especially since it's a normal-sized cape on a small figure, so whatever you do you're going to damage that thing
  6. Cap looks great! But besides him and Iron-Man I don't really care about the other figures so this wave is going to be very cheap for me
  7. And lego will probably do something to differentiate them. The Krennic's Shuttle Death Troopers had pauldrons and the Throne Room Praetorian Guards had skirts which were either absent or replaced in the battlepack
  8. I agree lego can be extremely lazy at times, but they're not that lazy
  9. I really hope it's Sith trooper related, but I'm expecting something like 2 Jet troopers and 2 filler figures. Kinda wondering why lego is always including those filler figures though, especially since their choices don't really make sense (like the Death Star Trooper in the Solo battlepack)
  10. Yup, Jang always gets his stuff legitimately. One of the things I love most about his channel (besides his voice, opinions and thoughts). I wont be saying anything about M&R though as that would most likely start a discussion that shouldn't be in this thread
  11. The Jedi and Clone Troopers battlepack could've easily be a Clone Trooper only battlepack imo. Not that I'm complaining, I love having a cheap way to get Bariss and Ki-Adi-Mundi
  12. It will most likely be just another random officer, and we only know it's First Order related. Not necessarily Sith Troopers
  13. It most likely still depends on wether or not the AT-ST sells
  14. Now you're just putting words in my mouth, that's not at all what I said. Is it really that difficult to read a sentence properly? Let's try the kiddie explanation then shall we? Now let's look at what I said: ''Releasing the figures from a D2C set in a small 20$ set greatly reduces the value of the D2C sets. And to some people who are hesitant on wether or not to buy a D2C the figures are what makes or breaks it.'' We can split this sentence into 2 points: - Removing the figures from a D2C reduces the value of the set - The minifigure selection can make or break a set for some people which is why figures in D2C's are necessary What's so hard to understand here? Removing figures from a D2C set decreases both it's rrp and it's value (why do you think sets without figures are almost always cheapier than sets with figures?), and if you buy a D2C at release and sell it immediately after taking out the figures the value goes down. That does not mean the set is worthless without their figures. If you still don't understand it I'm giving up
  15. The AIM build is probably just a small cannon or something like that
  16. Can we please go back to topic?
  17. Both Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit came from MGM and New Line Cinema, Disney would never make something like LotR/ The Hobbit
  18. I've read it releases on the 29th, so we can expect the press release around the 22th
  19. That would be indeed be a great price, but I'll still pass on it
  20. Highly recommend reading Brickset's new interview with Henrik Andersen (designer of the UCS ISD). They go deeper into the designing process and why there is no interior included. https://brickset.com/article/46208/interview-with-henrik-andersen-designer-of-75252-imperial-star-destroyer
  21. I don't believe any of this. You can't even get licensed parts for normal sets replaced that easily, they always ask for an exclusive number you've got on your instruction booklet to verify you've actually got the set. I can't imagine the SDCC prints being any different.
  22. The only articulation besides the arms and head would possibly be moveable hind legs Meh, have to disagree with you on that. I've never liked Narnia
