Imo the LEGO Star Wars sets have become increasingly expensive over the years to the point of it being ridiculous. Because of that most of my interest has since shifted over to other, much more affordable and arguably better, themes but I did always like getting some of the $15 BP's (one of the few SW sets that weren't overpriced). I personally have no interest in $30 battlepacks so I'd be very sad to see the $15 ones go

A VIP-exclusive preorder would obviously give VIP's priority but it wouldn't allow everyone to buy it at the same time

Why would they make preorders a VIP exclusive thing? Then they might as well just give it an early VIP release

They haven't done that for other recent D2Cs right? I highly doubt it'll happen with DA

I'm talking about DA here. I'm Dutch so I got the sets I wanted most over 2 months ago

I knew I would want to get DA asap so there are some other sets I haven't bought yet that I can purchase to get a possible GWP

I don't mind the I-Rex's eye design so that's a plus for me I guess. Claire definetely needs dualmolded legs (something similar to Queenie and Umbridge from HP) but I put some spare Joker legs on her and it looks pretty great, not entirely accurate but better than plain legs (sorry about the picture's size, couldn't get it smaller lol).

When August 31st comes around I'll probably be sitting behind my laptop around 23:30 refreshing S@H like an idiot If everything goes according to plan I should be able to get it day 1, I've got the money set aside and I got myself a Paypal account a while ago in preparation so fingers crossed! Being able to get DA on day one would be a dream come true, especially considering college doesn't start untill the 7th for me which gives me plenty of time to finish building it

I think even those who will be staying up untill it's online will have a hard time getting it before it's sold out.

Wow, they look great! Still wish we would've gotten more interesting variants for especially Ron and Hermione but at least they didn't slow down on the printing! The Butterbeer cup, Fawkes and both the in- and outside of APM are all gorgeous!

That's only because no figures in BL's database come with accessories, adding versions with and without accessories would screw up the entire system. That's why they've chosen to catagorise those with accessories as 'sets'.

I got every Marvel set I still had on my wanted list last week, I'm planning on buying the upcoming $400 Diagon Alley set and a full box of Potter Series 2, there are still a couple of other sets on my wanted list and there's a ton of things coming out next year for Marvel, Potter and Jurassic. So yeah, getting some time to take a breath and save up some money is definetely appreciated

That would give us much more time to save up for those sets (assuming they're good) so that's not a bad thing imo

The accuracy of the current hairpiece isn't the problem, it's the sideburns not connecting to it and it ending up looking weird Also, @sebastian666, well said!

I honestly don't really care as long as the sideburns and hair just connect to each other because what we got just looks a bit weird. Recoloring Harry's year 1-3 hairpiece as suggested by @RogueTwo could definetely work.

I'm perfectly fine with them possibly reusing the Ollivander figure from the GWP (especially as I never got it) but I do hope they give him a different hairpiece. The one they gave him works fine but I really don't like the way his hair and sideburns aren't connected to each other.

I know B&B is inaccurate as well but if I was going to sit here and list all the flaws of that set I'd be here all day

Because it's a lot more expensive and the LEGO HP reboot team in general cares much more about accuracy than the previous team. Like seriously, aside from those curved windows that building doesn't look anything like Ollivanders. And with the GWP LEGO already showed us they know how to do Diagon Alley well.
