It's a matter of opinion of course but if you compare the latest couple of regular CMFs to older ones it's obvious that there are a lot of reused concepts, even though there are still plenty of things that could be done (as shown by the custom CMFs made by EB members). I'm personally not a fan of the regular CMFs and rarely get any of them so if this change doesn't affects licensed series I'm completely fine with it. But we all know that the chances of LEGO only changing this for the regular CMFs and keeping the licensed ones untouched is about as large as a lead designer spreading rumors about future products on a forum like this one

Obviously not Regardless of wether or not they brand it as a leak or rumor the designers would never reveal such info about future products. And the account is from the US, while Bessa is Portugese and lives in Denmark

What's the source for this 'rumor'?

A Marvel Legends figure of Ajak just leaked online and she's wearing a very cool looking crown-like thing. Wonder if LEGO will make a new piece for that or just ignore it, probably the latter though

I mean it sorta makes sense for the normal CMFs, with LEGO clearly running out of ideas (even though there are still plenty of things they've never done before) but if this stretches to licensed CMFs as well that would really suck as each of them still has plenty of potential CMF candidates

Shipping and delivering aren't the same thing

So if Promobricks' most recent rumor is true it looks like Harry Potter Series 2 is the last CMF series to get 16 figures. Starting in 2021 each series will only contain 12 figures and have 2 box sizes: 36 and 72 bags. Prices will remain the same as they are now.

I was thinking about putting glass around it but with a possible Gringotts set coming next year idk if it's a good idea to do right now (don't know how big that'll be). As annoying as dust is I've gotten used to it though, I've only got 1 fully closed display cabinet so the rest of my sets are ''out in the open'' and need dusting every 3-4 weeks And as the only place large enough to fit DA in it's entirety is where I've currently got my Hogwarts setup (and obviously that wasn't going to get moved anywhere) this was the best (and only) solution to my little space problem

Some interesting stuff regarding the design process for DA: - The original version of the set only included 4 shops, they later decided to include more of them and scale down the ones they already made - They ended up putting more figures in the set than originally planned Especially the second bit of info seems rather strange, considering the lackluster amount of figures is one of the complaints I see literally everywhere

Is anyone elses CMF order from MinifigureMadness now listed as 'on hold'?

Just finished building Diagon Alley (approximately 10-12 hours over the course of 3 days) and it's definetely my favorite set ever. Really wanted to display it in it's entire 1 meter long form so I bought a headboard to attach to the end of my bed Already filled the alley and the shop's interiors with both custom and existing figures, now just waiting for the CMF so I can add even more! Even though there's no way I can actually display it like this I really love this look:

I got the email about 20 hours after the package had been delivered

Sucks to hear your DPD deliveries were pretty bad. Mine arrived in pretty much perfect condition, no dents or holes whatsoever. The only thing I'm not fully satisfied with is that I wasn't at all notified of the delivery, I was extremely lucky to come home just as the delivery guy rang the bell.

Wow, this looks really good! Of course it's not really the most exciting build exterior-wise but that's hardly LEGO's fault, at least it looks really accurate. The minifigure selection is perfect imo but with a pricetag of $350 this set is an easy pass for me

I'll take this with a grain of salt but if it's real I must admit it looks much better than I expected. Still not planning on buying it though, especially considering I just started building Diagon Alley

Usually it would be the same for me but I wasn't expecting the order to arrive untill friday so I've still got plenty of things to do before I finally have a good amount of free time Did manage to get up to bag 7 today and the experience has been great so far, Marcos really did an excellent job with this one! GWPs are always 'while supplies last'

I was definetely surprised to see my order arrive earlier today. I wasn't notified of the delivery and LEGO usually takes 3-4 days to ship to me. Spend a couple of hours building the Ollivanders/Scribbulus section and my god that was an amazing experience. Don't have a lot of spare time in the coming days but I'm looking forward to building the other 3 parts!

The lower limit was probably just so they could be more sure of it not selling out asap because of scalpers etc. Now that most people who really want this set have ordered it they can raise that limit.

This is my first time ordering from LEGO since they've switched to DPD, never had trouble when they used DHL so I hope DPD doesn't screw up bigtime like they seem to do a lot if the internet is anything to go by
