I forgot about the Docks' back being the front and all that confusing stuff. If you look at Docks from the back (so City's front) then yes, it should be able to go on the left side of docks as well. If you look at the main walkway for Gardens you'll notice the right side just ends in nothing, which is where another set could be connected. On the left end of the walkway it kinda looks like it wraps around to the back of the building. -

It's intended to be on the left side of City, I'm 99% sure. I really wouldn't hold out any hope for a rerelease. -

While LEGO may not show much to the public these days we do still get a lot of info from the event like setnames and descriptions. -
Harry Potter 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

Hmmm, I guess I can kinda see it but besides the fact that both have 2 towers they look nothing alike. This set looks more like the Viaduct Courtyard Entrace from DH with the towers changed so they look better next to the other castle set. -

What set are you referring to? I don't recall LEGO ever having made the Bell Towers before. -
Harry Potter 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
lego_guyon02 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Given that a good chunk of DH revolves around the Battle of Hogwarts I'd assume 2-3 sections should be a reasonable expectation but that's just a guess. It's more the look of that part of the castle that makes it a good candidate for a Hogwarts expansion than what actually happens there. It's pretty much the last section of the main castle that's instantly recognisable and in terms of interiors LEGO can really just pick and choose what they want to include. The most interesting thing about the BT's location is that it's right at the end of the Long Gallery, which is where quite a few classes are located, and outside are the Herbology greenhouses. -

Yeah there's no truth to that, just another example of people not being able to differentiate between JK Rowling as a person and the stories she wrote 20 years ago. When this theme ends it'll be because LEGO themselves want to end it or because WB forces them to, not because of something Rowling said. The Hogwarts section for this year is speculated to be the Bell Towers. -

I don't think splitting a Marvel series in MCU and Comics is really the same as Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. In my opinion HP and FB perfectly complemented each other while MCU and comics would just look weird in one series because of how different their styles are. It should be either MCU or comics, not some weird hybrid of both. As for characters we're missing, I posted a list of all characters missing from the movies LEGO made sets for a week or 2 ago and it's pretty big. And that's not even counting the movies LEGO never made sets for. There is more than enough material for multiple MCU CMFs. -
Jurassic World 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
lego_guyon02 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't know the exact details but Mark Stafford (designer of the JP D2C) mentioned it in an interview somewhere. But I'd imagine Universal also had something to do with it. I know it's a very controversial opinion to have but imo this franchise would be much better off in Disney's hands. Looking at how Universal has treated this franchise over the last few years infuriates me -

While I'd love to get a bunch of JP3 sets just getting a Spinosaurus would already satisfy me. It has always been one of my favorite dinosaurs so I really need one -

He's talking about remakes of sets that have been made in the reboot Yes please They should redesign some of those newspapers from the Daily Prophet in DA to fit on a 2x2. ''The dark lord returns'', "Terror at the Quidditch World Cup'', etc. -

I've seen this price get mentioned here a couple of times now and I don't know where it originated from so just to make sure people aren't looking at the wrong info: the D2C is $250, not $230. -
Harry Potter 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

It's mostly the size of the sets and the scenes they chose to make that kind of bother me. Sets like The Orc Forge, Shelob Attacks and especially the Corsair ship shouldn't have been made this early in the theme's lifespan while other, much more iconic, scenes like the Balrog, Amon Hen, the Battle of the Pelennor Fields and many other things were omitted. And something like The Mines of Moria just feels unnecessarily big to me (just the door, well, a pilar or 2 and Balin's tomb would've sufficed) while other sets like the Council of Elrond and the Battle at the Black Gate don't really do justice to their respective scenes because of how small they are. And let's not forget about the many iconic battle scenes the films have, where were the battlepacks?! The only set that got close to one was the Helm's Deep expansion, which was fairly limited in it's usability as it included a named character and was also pretty expensive. I adore the theme and I hate that I couldn't afford the sets when they were out but I wouldn't necessarily say LEGO really did the films justice like they've done with something like Harry Potter. But this is getting way too off-topic so feel free to PM me if you want to continue this discussion. -

Don't want to get too off-topic but I personally feel like the theme's failure was caused by LEGO and Warner Brothers just simply making the wrong decisions and taking the theme into the wrong direction from the get-go. -

Completely agree with this. Let the theme run it's course and end it there, don't drag it out. Ideally a Middle Earth theme (LotR and Hobbit combined) would take it's place. -

It's possible but I doubt it. There's still quite a few things they could do and the theme sells like hotcakes so LEGO is unlikely to pull the plug this year. -

Which is completely fine. It's their own money, they don't need someone else to decide what to do with it. And I'm honestly not even sure what you're expecting here, people here are hardcore LEGO fans so ofc we're all excited to get the sets we want when they finally come out -
Jurassic World 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
lego_guyon02 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Expectations didn't really affect my disappointment, I just really do not like the set. I am a big fan of minifigure- and systemscale sets so the T-Rex is a waste of pieces imo, not to mention that the gate isn't any good either. The torches and signs are inaccurate and it's way too large to be used with minifigures. Not to mention that the gate and Rex aren't even in scale with one another. Sure, I would've loved a Visitor Center but at it's core this D2C is really just one of the worst sets released in the last few years. But that's just my opinion. They did want to include the Ford Explorer but couldn't due to licensing issues. -

Because when you love something, look forward to it's release and can afford it you may want to get it as soon as you can? It's pretty simple. -
Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
lego_guyon02 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Taking the whole ''multiverse trilogy'' concept in mind Nightmare would also make a lot of sense considering the rumors about him being the villain for Doctor Strange 2 have been going around for a while. Really the only one that doesn't make much sense to me in @HarryVader's list is Grim Reaper. There are plenty of hints to Mephisto, Nightmare has been rumored for DS2 for a while and a lot of fan theories suggest Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness. -

Not sure if someone has pointed this out yet but the new labrador in tan would be perfect for Lucky if LEGO were to make Hawkeye sets.
