  1. Would be fitting for this years line-up actually.
  2. Yesterday I saw the small John Deere harvester for 10€. At it seems right now, this will be my only purchose for this year. I just can't believe all these cars in 2026 will sell that well instead of the mixture of different sets we had in the recent years. My last silent hope is that the designers saved all the proper Technic models for next year's 50th anniversary...
  3. This is at least more interesting than all cars combined. Please let the 3 remaining sets be anything but cars... I'd even take roller skates, an escalator or a toaster instead.
  4. These wheels are perfect and the dump bed already is greatly shaped here! Have you thought about implementing suspension? With the new small ball sockets (and even the older ones), it should be feasible in that scale :-) Now I am tempted to rebuild the 42100 and rebuild my Liebherr T264 from the profile pic with all the new elements available.... :D
  5. Wait, wait wait! Did you intentionally place enough white liftarms into the model so you can build the Dinos teeth and claws? That would be such a Growl thing to do! :D
  6. Last year about this time we already had the whole years line-up. So hopefully we will get some good news soon about non-car models for 4 unknown set numbers.
  7. Very strange indeed... My guess is on the latter one, looks like no one with technic sensability was involved here. Multiple strange solutions: - Steering wheel connection is way to wobbly (or was this intended?) - whole steering mechanism is a little over-simplified in such a huge model with very small steering angle (compared to the real thing) - Yellow axle on drive shaft has only a 1/2 stud connection to the 2 stud connector piece. Why not use the 5.5 stud axle with stop and spare the 1/2 bush? - Hand crank for engine start is only held by one connection, although there is a pinhole right behind. Only the yellow stoppers for steering had to be removed and placed elsewhere
  8. Hmm but we already had a bunch of those... 76240, 76023, 76303 and 76239... We are now down to 3 unknown models in 2026 ... if they are cars too, I feel discriminated for liking real Technic models.
  9. It's not really carved in stone that a construction machine couldn't have over 4000 pcs. I remember Markus Kossmann saying the 42100 was the limit regarding the motors and movement. But considering a multimodel set (Tractor and Trailer) or something without a long arm and with wheels instead of tracks (combine harvester) even 5000 pieces are achievable without breaking the bounderies of playability. BUT: Bigger is not always better. I remember a third party set of a 3 axle truck with that high piece count which was sluggishly slow and had terrible overall stability. I'd take 3 or 5 smaller sets with 1000...1500 pieces over one set with 5000 pieces any day ;-)
  10. I get what you mean, but theres a flipside to that: Lego Technic models once had unique features which weren't or couldn't be implemented in system-based models. Now we have models outside the Technic theme which have much more sophisticated mechanism AND more appearing looks, too. Recent examples were the 10327 Ornithopter or the 10363 DaVinci Flying machine. When we look at cars it's even more absurd: You have nearly same functions in the 10317 Defender as in similar sized technic models AND way better looks. Just a matter of time till we get the moveable pistons (see City Set 60466 Bulldozer), then its Model Team revived. I really hope Lego will broaden their line-up in future years and use the potential of complex mechanisms again. Hopefully the remaining models of 2026 are NOT cars.
  11. This is exactly what I both hope and fear...
  12. I'd like to contradict myself: This gear would be better for the looks and easier on the finger to operate then the spur gear:
  13. Really cool little set! Perfect usage of the parts. @msk6003 Totally agreed. Would at least swap the 20T in tan for the dark azure version of the spur gear.
