Here is how the Shark Mech looks as of 6/15/2020. The tail is still needs more changes. I am trying to get this mech finished as soon as possible to start building Zane's tank. -

@legoman23 Your reconstruction of the school bus looks great. I reconstructed the bus too. Here are some pictures. Full view: Side view: Interior: Here's how the chassis is structured: As for the mechs, there is a new update for the Green Ninja Mech Dragon and Fire Mech. The first tail segment in the Green Ninja Mech Dragon is now accurate and a slight inaccuracy in the Fire Mech's legs is now fixed. Download here -

@Matteo Nottoli and @Mrlikesninjagomoviethings I thank both of you for showing us your real-life builds. It's awesome people are building the Shark Army vehicles Lego never released as sets. Update for the Shark Mech: The details for the exterior is finished. I just need to work on some of the internal details. Once when I'm done with the internal details, I will start working on the tail. -

@Matteo Nottoli To upload or show pictures larger than 0.1 MB, you will need to upload the pictures on a different site such as Flickr. New update for the Green Ninja Mech Dragon. Some areas have been rebuilt to be more accurate such as the engine area, using the Rocktagon music video and the movie. Download it here. The propellers in the shark mech are now in place . I will still progress on the Ice Tank, but it's going to be difficult, as it has the least amount of references of any of the ninjas' vehicles. -

@zweifuss While I would like to use a newer program or an updated program, I will still use Lego Digital Designer at the moment because that is what I'm used to using. @mr4543r Excellent! It's great you built the brick-built wheel from the concept design. A good substitute for the up-scaled wheel used on the final design. Here's how the Garma Mecha Man's hand looks now: I have finally placed the propellers in the Shark Mech, but I still need to figure out how they attach: -

@Ransom Fern Thank you! There is a lot more coming soon. @Matteo Nottoli It is still not finished. There is still more areas I have to build. @legoman23 I plan on building the Destiny's Bounty after I'm done with the mechs. Today is a big release day. Cole's Mech is finally finished. The most difficult part was the finger hoses. There are some parts that do not attach, but maybe I can come up with a way to attach them. There are also small, structural updates to the Fire Mech and the Green Ninja Mech Dragon. Now available to download. As for the Ice Tank, I have built the rear wheels: -

@Mrlikesninjagomoviethings That's good news. I can't wait to see it when it's finished. I have started early progress on the Garma Mecha Man. Here is the mech's hand: I am also working on the right arm. -

@zweifuss You are right. It's the outside that matters, not the inside. I now know that the model is intellectual property, and therefor, I'm not allowed to have it. Now, I regret the decision of contacting ATK PLN for help creating the mech. That was a big mistake, but they wern't able to do so because of an NDA, which is a good thing. Better to work with what you got than nothing. I am not trying to infringe on Warner Bros. or LEGO's intellectual property whatsoever. As for the updates on my projects, nothing new at the time because I have taken a break. Relating to the dragon snout: I believe importing extra parts into LDD is a violation of the EULA, but I don't know if this is still the case. Can't wait to see your progress with the snout pieces, good luck and thanks. -

@zweifuss I'm eager to view the actual 3D model or instructions for the Garma Mecha Man from the movie so I can reconstruct it. It's a big effort, but hopefully one day, I'll have something to work with so I can start working on it. If I can't view any movie production material related to this mech, the only thing I can do is to build it from the information I have. The only thing I can do for now is to just hope. There are large amounts of areas in the Garma Mecha Man that are difficult to see or obscured by other parts such as the shoulder joints inside the mech, the parts attaching the legs, and the internal structures of different areas. If anyone has anything I can use the build the Garma Mecha Man as it appears in the film, that will be great. Thank you. -

@Mrlikesninjagomoviethings Some of the mechs have parts that are missing or not attached due to collision detection. -

I contacted ATK PLN (a small studio that created promotional material for the LEGO Ninjago Movie) to see if they can provide me with any files that can help me reconstruct the Garma Mecha Man from the movie. Unfortunately, they can't give anything out because of a non-disclosure agreement between WAG and ATK PLN. Now, I may need to contact WAG to see if they can help. -
@Brickhead79 After doing some research, I found out this trailer is from set 60165-1: 4 x 4 Response Unit.

@Mrlikesninjagomoviethings I noticed that too when I built the Piranha Mech. I know a small fix to correct the feet, but it may not be perfect: -

@Mrlikesninjagomoviethings I actually do have some of the Shark Army builds, including the Jelly Sub, Manta Ray Bomber, Piranha, and small Crab Mech. They were corrected to be more accurate, except for the small Crab Mech. The models I corrected are still not finished. While looking for more references and information to use to make the mechs, I stumbled across two sites of small animation studios that worked on and created promotional material for movie: Devastudios and ATKPLN. In the Comic-Con promo created by Devastudios, two of the mechs appeared animated: Green Ninja Mech Dragon and the Quake Mech, and in the "Please Put On Your 3D Glasses" promo created by ATKPLN, the Garma Mecha Man appears. Now, here are questions: Do you think one of these studios will provide references to build the mechs mentioned if someone inquired about them, and if not, would it be better to talk to Warner Bros, Animal Logic, or the designers of the mechs? -

@Mrlikesninjagomoviethings I haven't tried to build the Mecha Crab out of real bricks yet, but I hope to do so someday. Today, the Fire Mech is finally done after months of working on it. Like any other mech, it will be updated if I find any inaccuracies. Some things had to be changed or unattached due to collsion detection. The mech also has some floating parts. Front: Back: Download the LXF here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/GLAP23/lego-ninjago-movie-ninja-mechs The Quake Mech is around 95%-97% complete. I will soon start on the Ice Tank and continue working on Garmadon's Shark Walker. The Garma Mecha Man will be the last mech since it's the largest and most complex. -

@Mrlikesninjagomoviethings I really like your clam drone too, especially with all of the accurate details. @Takanuinuva I will see what I can do with those rim pieces. Today marks the second anniversary of the LEGO Ninjago Movie. In celebration, I am releasing updates for the Green Ninja Mech Dragon and the Lightning Jet. The Green Ninja Mech Dragon has a few structural changes, plus the correct shade of gold. Get them here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/GLAP23/lego-ninjago-movie-ninja-mechs -

@Matteo Nottoli Once the Shark Mech is finished, the LXF will be released. @Mrlikesninjagomoviethings Wow! That is incredible. Thanks for sharing. The Quake Mech is just about complete. I will still need to look at the wheel though. Back: As for the Fire Mech, I reconstructed the legs. The Technic structures are much more accurate now. -

@MOCER Thank you. I'm happy that you're willing to build the Quake Mech with a custom 3D printed tire. I uploaded long overdue updates to three Shark Army vehicles: Mecha Crab, Shark Boat, and the Piranha. Download them here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/GLAP23/ As of 8-17-19, the Fire Mech and Quake Mech are not finished, but hopefully I can get both of them done next month. -

@zweifuss Looks Great! However, there is a reference you can use to make the shape of the jaw look more like Animal Logic's. Even though these aren't the final designs of the jaw and snout pieces as seen in the movie, I can still use this to make the final designs. -

The game only has the toy version. It's disappointing since they included large, complex mechs in games before. Plus, they only made it bigger just by resizing it. If the game had used the movie model instead of the set, I would have started building it in a heartbeat before anything else, and thank you for giving me the link to the dragon head pieces. -

Another update to Garmadon's Shark Mech: Speaking of shark mechs, has anyone attempted to build the film version of Garmadon's second mech, the Garma Mecha Man? Also, is there anymore reference material for the Garma Mecha Man other than promotional material, Making of the Movie book, the Shark E. Shark short, or the movie itself? -

@zweifuss Thank you showing me the Stud.io PartDesigner! I downloaded and installed the program and resized the tire to fit the rim. If Bricklink adds the jaw and nose for the dragon mech, I can resize those too. Here is another update for the Fire Mech: -

@ChocolateCrisps I already had Ninja Ripper installed, and used it to get a better view of Garmadon's Shark Walker and the Quake Mech. Thanks! It's been a long time since I posted any updates because I was busy building both the Quake Mech and Garmadon's Shark Walker. Here's what has been built.
