  1. Well, it´s always worth waiting a little and shop around I got the 8110 the day was placed on shelves at the shop at one of the larger Lego retailers here in Madrid and payed 179 Eur, which I thought was quite expensive, but better that a few days later that was raised to 199,99 Eur. However my latest purchases, just to built up my stock of parts, on Ebay was much better than any local shop. 8070 70 Eur 8109 47 Eur 8068 17 Eur cheers

  15. And very nice for dark gray only MOC´s.... :-) seriously, it is a great value for your money (I got one of this sets after I bought my Mindstorm set) but not a solution when you are looking for pieces for some technic project were the pieces you need are beams and panels. regards Jaime Yes, exactly but more quantity and color options… Hey, Why not?
  16. Hi. Buying technic sets is no doubt a good source of parts but IMHO I still believe that getting inexpensive bulk TECHNIC parts has been in my opinion, one of the weakest point on the Lego Business (especially for AFOLS) for years. I still do not understand why LEGO does not offer a set that only contains specific technic parts, for example a set of one color beams of all sizes. I have purchased sets in order to build a stock of parts; however I always end up with parts that I do not need or does not contain a good sample of beams, too many of one size and none of other. cheers
  17. Hi Edwin. Yes sorry, ideas come from many sources from the forum... but yes, i have to say that your work is very impressive! Also, as ex-fireman I’m a little bit biased towards fire trucks! This project was parked for a long time and now finally had the time to work on it. Parenthood has taken a lot of my hobby time, I did amend my original post. cheers jaime
