  1. The overbridge, curved building and road design work beautifully together. I agree with Androo, the window design on the overbridge looks brilliant.
  2. I love that turtle... (I actually want lots of them). They are my new favourite Lego animal now (move over goat... ).
  3. Thanks Soccerkid6, I was stoked to be blogged for my other MOC. And I am a fan of Lego accessories, I was happy to find a use for them in a MOC.
  4. Really lovely build Blue Wren. I agree with RedHead, pink and grey go really well together and it is a really cute build and I can't wait to see more.
  5. Thanks Ardelon, I was hoping the scale would mess with people's minds a little. Kibosh, it is a deskpal that holds stationery (I bought a couple of them about 8 years ago). I have never used them for a MOC before though (that I can remember anyway) Purpleparadox, I am normally not very creative (I had a really stressful time recently and now that has passed my brain has too much spare thinking space to think about Lego MOCs)
  6. Really amazing, so beautifully built and finished. And I love the lighting in it, perfect.
  7. Just playing around with scale (and my new love of nanoblocks (ok, it is cheating, but I don't have much modulex, in fact I only have black 1 x 4s). The hippo, panda and space ship are models from nanoblocks. Thanks for looking Cheers Anita
  8. Really lovely. Fits in with the series perfectly.
  9. Beautiful, love them both, but especially the first model (would love to see a version in red, or yellow). Great shape (reminds me a convertible version of Kitt).
  10. Thanks LuxorV and Professor Chaos (Edit: and thank you Blue Wren, your post came through when I was writing my post). It took a couple of hours I guess, (which is on and off building time).
  11. This was a quick little build. I built a mini Lego city inside a 8 x Lego brick. (not sure about the clouds though). Thanks for looking
  12. Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I was surprised with how the Lego mosaic turned out. I have been distracted from building the dolls house with another build I am doing at the moment.
  13. (Repost: thanks Bonaparte) I have had a bit of a quiet time with building lately. I am halfway through a dollhouse but kind of hit a mental building block, so started sorting Lego instead. After we had sorted some containers of colours, I had a sudden urge to make a picture with them... and so made an obvious choice. Here is our loose brick Lego mosaic (it is about 1m x 80cm) Instead of breaking my building block and allowing me to continue my dollhouse, I decided to play with the idea of a mosaic using trans and light. So here is our spider/halloween mosaic I have since built more of the dolls house, so building these seems to have cleared some of the building cobwebs of my mind. Thanks for looking. Added: I have since finished the façade of the dolls house
  14. Hi, I lost a thread about, I think it was titled something like 'two mosaics, loose brick and light brick'. It was in the special themes forum. Cheers Anita
  15. I got two Mill Village Raids for $112 on this special this morning at target. ($56 each is a great price for this set, I love goats)
  16. Wow, that is awesome. Love it all, but especially the special details, like the opening briefcase, the way the tie comes out a little, and the waist coat.
  17. Oh that is great news. I am loving the Friends range and am waiting patiently for the summer wave to hit our shelves. But I agree, we need more male minidolls.
  18. I voted for the Radio DJ, but there were a few others that were close (Actor, ManBat, Bavarian and Santa were a close second). I think this is a great series (even the weaker ones I like).
  19. Look at them go... I really like this, cute and clever
  20. This is a very cool build. Love the flooring and the bed. I have not read the book, but curiosity will see me reading at some point I imagine (your MOC made me more curious to read it).
  21. Thanks Cerator, I think Rapunzel is also my favourite. I am playing with the idea of combining all the vignettes into one large Fairy Tale scene so I can incorporate dark woods and a castle. The autumn foliage are not produced by Lego, they are produced by Altbricks (who also does zombie, winter and summer leaf colours).
  22. We built the Hansel and Gretel on today. I found it quite difficult because I had built a gingerbread house at Christmas and I didn't want it to look the same. I tried to make the house look like layered cake with chocolate and cream. I might try another scene using the autumn foliage, maybe for Goldilocks (outside the window of the cottage).
  23. You have already mentioned the idea of fairy tales, which I would love as a Lego set range. I would also love some historical sets, from around the world.
  24. You have done a great job on this truck, it is a difficult shape and you have really captured it brilliantly.
