Despite this being preliminary, it looks to be pretty official- but yeah I’m hoping there’s atleast 6-7 minifigures in it, fingers crossed ??

Thanks to LDD who was very kind enough to share the prelim pic of the advent calendar we have an awesome look at what we’ll get- whilst the quality isn’t great, not his fault tho- I can make out that we’ll get: year 1/2 Harry in Christmas ‘H’ jumper year 1/2 Hermione in the Black hogwarts CMF style robes a printed 1x2 tile of the marauders map a snowy Christmas tree Numerous presents some food with bowls a big fireplace maybe with Sirius Black face in it, it looks to be the gryffindor common room fireplace there are other stuff but it’s hard to see, and that’s just all that’s on the front- I’m so hyped, Thanks LDD! ?? There also seems to be a gryffindor banner which is just a red flag piece and the food is on the sam even plate pieces as in the great hall so now it can be further decorated with food as that was one of the weak spot so of the great hall

Dayummm- they made a new torso for Cedric! Nice- I really think this looks good and I’m happy about Ron’s hair choice- it’s fitting enough- so in the watchtower/clocktower/Yule ball set we get: harry Yule ball, Ron Yule ball, hermione Yule ball, Cedric yule ball, krum Yule ball, fleur Yule ball, Madame maxime Yule ball and dumbledore Yule ball. I really want the set pics

So by my count, with the June wave, there should be 2 philosophers stone sets, 2 chamber of secrets sets, 4 prisoner of Azkaban sets and 2 goblet of fire sets in the new HP line, this is not including the D2C hogwarts or promotional items, minifig series of CMF series- I’m hoping the August/ September wave gives us more of these films

Oh no. I was actually just getting used to the new krum head, until I realised who it looked like- Barry Goldberg from the Goldbergs, if you watch the goldbergs you’ll know what I’m talking about, but if you guys are looking for a replacement heads I think the old krum head still works though a bit outdated, but also the Football player one

That’s actually a very good idea, I hadn’t thought about that piece, it’s gothic and medieval as well, much like macnairs design, tbh I like the look of him more without the hood, just the head, the same with the dementor, I prefer it without the cape and sometimes the hood, hoods and capes are difficult to judge whether it’s necesssry or not, but it’s better to include them rather than not I think

Actually her torso continues onto her dress piece (may just be baggy blouse) but also Jesse had normal torso and it looked fine, but most importantly, I did a quick edit and it looks absolutely perfect, and doesn’t look weird- dm me on Instagram if you wanna see (only took 10 seconds, @legoandphotography )

Madame maxime would look so much better with long arms rather than regular arms, fortunately, she has white arms, and the long arms exist in white on Jesse from toy story, that torso isn’t too expensive on bricklink. I’ll definitely replace them.

I was thinking about dementors in Lego HPL we’ll Only get 1 in the expecto patronum set, and it got me thinking, where else will we get a dementor, unless we get another section of hogwarts based on POA, or a £12-£20 dementor attack set from the opening of order of the Phoenix with Dudley, there probably won’t be any other set with a dementor, I’m hoping we get a dementor in the advent calendar, because I really want to army build these new dementors, I got all 3 from the 2010-11 line, but that’s really not much, 2 is really bad amount, but seeing as the expecto patronum set isn’t really cheap, They might be one bricklink for really cheap

We’ll probably only see figures for the other waves snd svent calendar leak after we have official images for the June wave

The dementor, and even CMF Voldemort leakedk I remember them vividly, I was on work experience and constantly checking the leak pages and saw them, those two leaked in May

we’ve already gotten a look at rons other face- Dm me if you want to see (@legoandphotography) also I think the reason why the head doesn’t look as great as it could do is that the hairpiece is bringing it down- if you replace it with the CMF hair it’s bound to look great. Also in the image they gave Ron the dark tan legs- in the set he will have the dark grey legs and harry will have the dark tan legs also rons second face is pretty good

Yeah ron’s Torso leaked- it looks really nice- hopefully the print continues down on the legs but I think the leakers said there wouldn’t be leg printing- still, it looks very nice

Harry will have the tan mid legs In the sets that he appears in, Ron will have the dark grey mid legs

theyll include the CoMC variant of hagrid, seeing as I believe that’s the costume he wears during the scene just without the ferrets draped around his neck

Lego did release a black short cape, on robin in the 2012/13 arkham asyl7m set, so we can make a more accurate one dw

It’s not white it’s a very pale skin tone, which you could say is accurate to the film but this is caused by the fact Lego is printing on a dark torso as a result the printing isn’t as dark as wanted, they could double up on the print like in CMF series, but they don’t have that kind of budget- still looks fairly accurate to me anyway, just know it’s not white
