Speaking of the NYTF pics and videos of the great hall, did anyone notice that the build is different as well, for example on the outside/exterior of the great hall build, the Kitchens/hufflepuff common room is represented that little round small tower next to it, also, there is an extended part of the castle next to the tower- including just a little bit more of the castle and an extra cones roof- this also, when looking at the interior, solves the issue of the whomping willow and great hall set connection, as there isn’t no clash. There was also clearly a new element planned for the little wall area outside the entrance of the great hall. I urge you all to look at videos on YouTube of it and inspect the build again, it’s really interesting, some may say better...

That’s what I’m gunna do with my burrow, the moment there’s an official leak of a burrow set, I, selling it, I don’t want to sell it before there’s a leak because one might not be made. i sold my 2010 hogwarts castle, 2011 battle for hogwarts and 2011 diagon alley all together for £300 I realise I made a mistake because that price was WAY too low for all of them together but heyho they weren’t 100% complete because I kept some of the minifigs, accessories and animals for myself

I feel like perhaps that Ginny tho could be correct-also just a question but we actually rarely see anyone in just their hogwarts jumper, they nearly always have their black robes on, tho in order of the Phoenix they had it off a lot of the time but in the first two I rarely saw them without their robes, now Lego has the robes out, in 4 combinations for gryffindor do you think these will appear in sets, because having Harry in a chamber of secrets set he has the same robe configuration as his CMF counterpart also how do I send pictures!

I would love if they did a chamber of secrets but as an open play set, whilst it would be awesome if it connected underneath the great hall, I don’t think that will happen, because the great hall has a little dock thing coming out of it, that would just be hanging there, also the whomping willow set connects to the great hall, that would have to just be much lower and not connect at all, and if you did have a set connecting underneath the whomping willow, there is still that little arch which the ford Anglia drives through, the archway wouldn’t work, Ive been thinking about it lots, if there was a chamber of secrets set under the great hall, you could have a devil snare room, chess room and chamber of the winged keys underneath the whomping willow set, however the existence of that arch would make it look awkward, so I think the chamber of secrets has to be an open play set rather than a connecting set, which I’m fine with but it would be nice if it connected somehow As well I can’t see them coming in any set, I’m not sure what they would come in unless you really reached for a set, so perhaps there is a non set way of obtaining them at some point

I own Smaug, and to hold him as a molded dragon is fantastic plus he’s really big, Ive never owned a brickbuilt dragon but they look good, at this point, I have no preference, and that nymphadora looks great, perhaps the hair could have been different, kingsley looks a bit plain I would have loved to have seen his hat

Am I the only one who dislike do the old basilisk? I just felt as if it looked like it had eaten a deer or something where it’s body was swelled up in the centre and then got thinner both ends, but I also very much dislike the new one, I feel as if with a new chamber of secrets set it could be nailed on the head

In the book he mentions he sees himself holding a pair of woollen socks, however this has connotations and he perhaps lied. The socks representing something. So Lego does include small details and Easter eggs from the books but the designs of buildings, mini figures and the sets in general are based off the films

Um you’re acting like you know me, dude, you’ve never met me, I’m just trying to share with you guys what I’ve been told since I thought this is what we do here, take it with a grain of salt but you saying ‘he’s making it up’ and saying that you know for sure that’s I’m lying even when I’m not, this is the second time you’ve been super disrespected up, first To the poor Lego designer who was just designing an amazing set due to his love for Harry Potter and now to me, if you do it a third time, I would like to ask a moderator or whoever I follow you can be excused from the chat/thread Honestly I’m in the same boat as everyone else, I’m taking the info with a grain of salt, and I know the guy, but there is the possibility’s hes lying or telling the truth, even I don’t know, so we are all going to take the information with a grain of salt, just wanted to share the info, better to share something that could be true then not share it at all...

No it’s not ‘fake’ it’s what I’ve been told by a higher up Builder from the Lego group then again he has the advantage of knowing me so he could just be screwing we’ll soon find out

No one is a Nigerian prince ?, but I’m just saying that’s what I’ve been told anyway I know a lot of you don’t like the goblet of fire, but would it not be awesome to have a brickbuilt or new moulded Hungarian horntail with a segment of hogwarts or even a justice league battle of Atlantis type set for ‘rescue from th murpeople set or perhaps the stands, idk I know I would love it

J My friends brother works for Lego and he told me that Lego is planning on releasing a hagrids hut, he had this to say ‘the build includes the two hut builds, a pumpkin patch side build including a new printed and moulded buckbeak, a new hagrid variant, reflecting his prisoner of Azkaban costume, Harry in prisoner of Azkaban casual clothes, Hermione in prisoner of Azkaban clothes with printed time turner on torso and a 1x1 round tile with printed time turner, as well as a Ron Weasley in prisoner of Azkaban casual clothes and a Draco Malfoy with a torso near identical to Ron’s CMF torso except in slytherin style and appears to use professor flitwicks hair in a yellow/blonde/tan colour’

Yes, unfortunately I can’t see moody coming in another set as that really is his only outfit, I guess he could come the exact Sams except with a second moody face print rather than the barty crouch print that way it would be sort of exclusive, dobby won’t come in a set, because what would he come in? There won’t be a freeing dobby set, that was the point in him being in the CMF, he could come in a privet drive set, even still I reckon privet drive will be a side build to the knight bus, as well he has to remain exclsjive to the CMF, with Cedric however, he could come in a hogwarts robes variant, first task variant, second task variant or even Yule ball variant

I was thinking it was odd that many main or significant characters that could appear in sets were included in the CMF or bricktober pack but I did realise, that those characters wear multiple costumes, for example umbridge in the bricktober pack comes with her little light pink cardigan, sweater over her darker pink jumper top thing, in the film she isn’t also shown without it, so perhaps we will get another umbridge down the line in an order of the Phoenix set without her ligh pink cardigan, making both exclusive, likewise Madame hooch is in one of her two Robes in the bricktober pack, I know she has a flying lesson robe and a quidditch robe, so that opens up possibilities, as for Voldemort I’m not so sure, he’ll definitely appear in a later set, but probably with an alternate face expression or in black, time will tell

I was on #legoharrypotter on Instagram and there are pictures of the diagon alley micro scale set out of box and built as well as good looks at the back of the model including the two interiors and ollivander himself

So the magazine/picture says the bricktober packs start on the 27th tomorrow, and we know that the Harry Potter one is first up, so I’m hoping we get the news today, because I really want one, so ima stay up at midnight to get one on Lego.com, however I can only do that if I know it’s available, because there would be no point if it is. nonetheless I would just like to say thank you to everyone on here, without you guys, I would not have found out about most of the Lego HP news, I mean social media helps but the discussion allows me to find out more info, so THANK YOU, I wouldn’t have known about the smyths event, etc, etc. You guys are legends

Guys is the chewbacca in the new cloud city new? Previosluy chewie was dark brown and dark tan, however the pictures of cloud city make it look like chewie is dark brown and reddish brown, I would certainly like this to be the case, as it would be more accurate, would just like some confirmation :) -

Yes they did, I emailed them asking about it and they gave me the EXACT same response, it was super vague, I asked, when, where and how to get them, and curved all my questions

So I live in Bournemouth area so I went to the Bournemouth smyths- they had four boxes of them and there was a queue where they were dishing them out, one per person/group, as I suspected, so I went in alone got one, sent my dad in, he got one, sent my mum in, she got one, sent my sister in and she got one, I ended up with 4, one For display and the others for parts I can use to make custom gryffindor’s etc overall, success!
