  1. Hey Derrick, make sure you vote correctly, mate. We're already at a majority, but, hey, just in case.
  2. This. Based on speculation, the scum can kill at night, and we cannot. Therefore the only power we have is with a lynch.
  3. Who would you vote for, then? There's still plenty of time to change who gets lynched - who's pinging you?
  4. I don't really think I can add anything to this - any OMGUS turnaround on the person who accuses someone is downright pingy. Doesn't bode well. I never like to settle 100% on a vote before at least 2/3 of a day have passed, so I'm willing to change...but no one has quite so pinged than Carla. Vote: Carla Riddle (Dragonator)
  5. Defensive might be a better word. Patti pointed it out - both she and I thought that the no-NA thing applied only to us, not the scum. Contextually, what the host posted was: "You have selected Cop and Tracker as the power roles for your town. The roles will be PM'd to two random townies within the next 24 hours. No night actions are to be sent in for Night 1." It might have just been me contextually assuming that this only applied to Town, since town PRs were the last thing discussed. Let's just chalk this all up to a misunderstanding - I'm not Scum, and there really isn't much basis for you to suspect me other than perhaps a misunderstanding, which, as I already pointed out - Patti also misunderstood.
  6. So the only way to get rid of people would be to lynch them? Seems...lengthy... We can only really speculate until tonight. How does this have any cause for suspicion? Confused ping from me for an early defense over something so...churlish? Is that a good word? Been gone all day, sorry. I'm on board with lynching Carla, although I'd prefer to continue speculating here, maybe we can get some new pings off of some people. Multiple pinging on different people is never a bad thing!
  7. Yep, I definitely picked up on this, too. I couldn't think what it could be other than a slip of the tongue by a scum. I wonder why there wasn't any night kill? I wonder if the scum couldn't kill before the town got their PRs? They definitely didn't get blocked, so I'm not sure what's going on there.
  8. I'll be pretty much gone from late Thursday afternoon all the way through Saturday. I'll be back Sunday, and I'll have pretty limited access.
  9. It's just so weird for it to be pointed out in the first place, right? Something's weird there.
  10. Yep! I already bought tickets. I'm so bloody excited for this movie.
  11. I'm working on a possible theory...say the tracker tracks the cop purely by dumb luck, sees he targets someone, the next day that someone turns up dead, what then? Sure if the cop claims his PR then he's safe from lynch, but the scum would kill him that next night... We have to play our cards very very safe. I don't like this sick scenario my mind has created.
  12. Seeing someone target someone, that someone turns out dead, etc. Drawing conclusions versus being told straight out. It just seems less...maybe risky isn't the word, I'm not quite sure what the word is, honestly. But a cop who only says when someone is scum definitely seems like our best option. Tracker seems a better secondary than watcher. Vote: Cop Vote: Tracker I would wager for optimism's sake that there isn't, but anything's possible. I would say there's obviously a scum with the ability to kill, and the other role could be...roleblocker? That would make a bit of sense with the whole role voting thing, but I'm just snowballing here. Godfather just doesn't make sense in this situation
  13. At this point I'm pretty unsteady about if there is a strongarm killer or not...it just seems so...odd for it to be mentioned like that. Could the cop maybe not claim if he investigated town, unless in the situation where that person is about to be lynched? I would almost be willing at this point to screw the cop and go with watcher/tracker. They might not tell us as much, but it seems less risky.
  14. Did...not think of that. But for the doctor to protect the cop, he would have to know who he is...but as we can't PM...it would be a shot in the dark. I still think cop and tracker are our best bets. I would much rather have an extra PR than a Doctor protecting a vanilla townie.
  15. On the positive side, it won't be the usual unlucky lynched townie situation On the negative side...there goes any chance of getting scum... I would say a vig is possible, but it seems unlikely, as the roles we choose today are assigned randomly...We've gotta play it safe and smart in the lynches.
  16. So we assume that there is only the scum who are able to kill at night? So the only killing power we have is through lynching.,,
  17. You think this could be a cosplay Mafia type situation? Interesting, and if so, that'll definitely give us a lot of room to play around with different roles based on suspicion. For today, obviously it's best just to play it safe.
  18. This. I, personally, don't think a strongman would be pointed out unless there was one. I mean, half of us didn't know what a strongman was before this started. It just feels too weird to not acknowledge it. I know it seems too "red herring", but why else would it be mentioned if it didn't exist? Has anyone considered role blocker? It could potentially give us more info than tracker/watcher could, if we play it right.
  19. Tracker and watcher are nearly interchangeable at this early stage...but yea, tracker would seem just a bit better. I'm not entirely sure how the whole system works: if a watcher targets someone who dies that night, do they still get to see who kills them? If so, watcher could conceivably be more useful. Also, having a strongman is a bit of a new one...would it, therefore, replace the regular scum killer? Judging by just how little people are here, there can't be more than two or three scum total.
  20. Trenton is my name, hello! Sorry to disappoint anyone in reserves by showing up.
  21. 1.) Shhhh! Don't open it. Shh. 2.) Who didn't? 3.) Fred. We share affinities for ascots. 4.) Yepyep! 5.) Please!
