I'm actually really impressed with this set. Completely unexpected, nicely detailed, and a triumphant tribute to the great Chadwick Boseman rolled into one. I'm also relieved it's not (yet another) Hulkbuster.

I would be cautious. While I don't run an active Bricklink store, I did receive the following email from Bricklink on August 2: Subject: Counterfeit Minifigures - Immediate action required! Dear BrickLink Seller, We are sorry to inform you that the BrickLink Marketplace has recently been flooded with high-profile counterfeit Minifigures. These counterfeit Minifigures have in some cases been purchased from distributors on and outside of BrickLink. These are known to have been made using genuine LEGO elements with after-market (custom) printing. BrickLink has a zero-tolerance policy [refer to sections 1 and 3] towards counterfeit items. We are reaching out to you because we have seen several flagrant examples recently with very high numbers of items appearing in certain stores. Please report those listings when you notice them using this page. Keeping the BrickLink Marketplace free from counterfeit elements is critical to maintain the reputation of BrickLink as a premier LEGO Marketplace. After finding out that the price of the UCS Luke’s Landspeeder is going up 20% after today, I bit the bullet and ordered. I wasn’t planning on getting this one anytime soon (was hoping it would either go on sale or I’d use banked VIP points), but I felt backed into a corner with the whopping price increase imminent.

So…SDCC has begun, and I’ve seen no evidence of exclusive minifigs (hallelujah!!!) What do we think? Is it safe to assume these are no more?

The full sticker sheet has popped up in the usual place. I’m cracking up at the “child on board” sticker.

I actually love this. It’s a cute little set, and for a 4+ entry it’s pretty great.

I get the feeling that some of these reactions to the new head molds are simply because they're just that - new. It'll take a bit of time to get used to, but I think they look fantastic. This theme is looking very promising so far! This set looks great. I hope we get a nice mix of organic & mechanical across the theme.

This set is absolutely awesome!!! We’ve all been clamoring for Beru for years, and it’s great to see a somewhat obscure location/scene represented (location-based sets are always a breath of fresh air, IMO, amid the endless barrage of vehicle releases). Yes, it is a bummer to lock Beru behind a high spend threshold GWP for now. But I could see Lego including her down the road in an inevitable Sandcrawler update.

Anyone know the DPCI number at Target for these?

Personally, I'm hoping any rumors of a ship aren't true, as I'm hoping for another MBS set. At the rumored $530 price point, we could finally get something many fans have clamored for, like the Jedi Temple or Geonosis Arena.

I wouldn't be surprised if the film's director, Angus MacLane, had a hand in that design. He's a massive AFOL after all.

These both look absolutely fantastic! Both are Day 1 buys for me.

I love this little short, though the animated portions are a bit misleading in leading people to believe the set is to scale with the minifigures... Definitely a purchase for me!

Wow, these look fantastic! Absolutely a must-buy for this lifelong Muppet fan. The only thing that I would’ve changed is including Sam Eagle or Scooter instead of Janice. I get why Lego would want more than one female character in the lineup, but it still feels like an odd choice to include her over others. Here’s hoping for a Series 2!

T. Rex Breakout is a literal dream come true!!! It looks absolutely fantastic. I’ve already preordered mine.

Totally agree — if the Star Wars vignettes come anywhere close to how good the JP T. Rex Breakout is, I’ll be extremely happy.

I've also voted with my wallet on this one. Even though there are several things I would have liked to have seen done differently, I still want these types of sets to continue.

Wow! I definitely wasn't expecting this model to be the size that it is. I'm a huge fan of these "prop replica" style display pieces and have placed my preorder. That said, I do agree with some of the issues that have been pointed out. While it would have been nice to have more detail on the hammer, it almost certainly would have been achieved with stickers...so it isn't a huge loss IMO. The strap does need to be bigger though.

It seems there’s rumor of a mini Haunted Mansion set, possibly a GWP. I’m very excited about that if it pans out! Hopefully the first of many attraction builds in the future.

Both helmets look excellent! Definitely adding these to my collection with the rest of the line. My only (minor) complaints are that the vertical portion of Mando’s visor is a bit too wide, and the horizontal bridge on Luke’s helmet (the part above the orange visor) needs to be lower. Not dealbreakers though.

Ah, now those leaked BoBF minifigs that have been floating around make sense. That’s Bib Fortuna’s headpiece, but the rest of the minifig belongs to Rystáll. Assuming they’re legit, the molded Quarren head looks very nice too.
