  1. Yup, images aren't displaying for me, either.
  2. Yep, I actually had this planned way before the episode came along. I wanted him to get send off to Gigor for some reason, coz I want to develop that planet, and I knew Rishi would probably be the last one I looked at in this area of the map.
  3. Thanks. I know what you mean. Maybe I should've cantilevered some steps out of the wall instead. I'm going to chalk this up to the limitations of the category, though. If I was able to build a larger base, I would probably have had the walkway angled towards us and supported at both ends.
  4. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* I don't know if you've ever had to hack the head off a gigantic monster with nought but a pocket vibroblade, but it's not a fun job. And, as for lugging the thing back myself; why would I do that, when I have staff? Well anyway, we managed to get it all the way back to the Rishii shaman, and was he grateful? In a word: no. Y'see, apparently I had misinterpreted the guy's chatter. It seems the artefact we were looking for was guarded by the Maungur, rather than being the prize for killing it. What's more, while the monster preys upon the Rishii, they consider it sacred, and do nothing to harm it - slack-jawed nerf-herders that they are. So you can imagine what happened when we turned up with its head; the Rishii blacklisted me, destroyed that artefact, and banished the Triumvirate from their territory; the Triumvirate demoted me, exiled me off to the farthest corner of the galaxy, and sent the troops in instead. I can't say I did the diplomatic corps a service that day, but dammit, I did my best! Put life and limb on the line for my people. Ah, but there's no use crying over spilled blue milk. And things weren't always so bad. Just listen to the next one.
  5. @Darth Bjorn no worries. I always appreciate your feedback.
  6. Dammit Bjorn! You're so good at spotting the tiny details that would make things perfect, but you always seem to notice them after the post is live.
  7. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Well, we headed down into those marshes. Determined to find the "Maungur". From the scraps of information I'd managed to decipher from the Rishii's inane babbling, it seemed like it would be a large animal. Hard to miss. You'd be surprised just how large am animal can be and still sneak up on you. When it came barrelling through the undergrowth at me, I was not prepared to meet it. And so, not for the last time in my career, I turned tail and ran. Bloody thing chased me halfway across the region, and when I finally found a spot it couldn't reach, I turned around and put half a dozen blaster bolts in its sternum - just to be sure. And that is how I slew the mighty Maungur of Rishi; terror of the jungle.
  8. Did it all have to fit with 16x16 or just the base?
  9. Nah, this is perfect. Suddenly I'm a lot more interested in developing Deysum.
  10. One guy in my LUG has his wife begging him to get it. If he's going to be shut in for weeks, he needs a toy to play with.
  11. @gedren_y I'd feel like a hypocrite if I didn't buy it. Of course it needs a third mast and different sails; a recolour on those hatches, more cannons... But I've also got some spare hull pieces that are crying out to be used, and Ive got a neat idea about a ship crossed with a cathedral. It'd even have a pulpit. After all, my Sig is now Canon of the Brick Seas...
  12. Now remake it in blue china tableware!
  13. Yep, looks suitably evil. Nice one. Keen to see the squad in combat
  14. And Eurobrick censored me for saying a$$! Hilarious. It is a beautiful bit of architecture though. I love all the panelling.
  15. I really like your colour palette. Met the style nicely.
  16. I could swear I was told "Charlie don't surf"... Didn't realise that Devaronians could have green skin, so I'm glad I know better now. All in all its a nice little build. Got your signature style there.
  17. I really enjoy this build. Small but very fun.
  18. My category A build. I will add an additional build in the week.
  19. @Professor Thaum @Bodi thanks! I wish I could've done more bamboo, but I ran out of parts
  20. Your Grace, I'm afraid that I must relay information about an unfortunate event involving your people. Of late, a number of Lotii ships have been making berth in Astrapi, on their way to the New Haven Seas. I am told that we represent a neutral harbour where they resupply in relative safety from both Carno and Corrington squadrons. However, I'm afraid that these circumstances have now changed. On the evening of 21 March, it seems that some of your monks caught wind of heathen practices occurring up in the hills above above Astrapi. It seems that a small group of the Lotii were practicising their strange arts up there. Well, your men donned their armour and headed up there. Caught the Lotii folk off-guard and meted out some vicious justice. What few survivors there were headed off on their junks, swearing retribution on Oleon and all the priests of the Order. For what it's worth, your people seem to have the support of the people. Your actions here last year seem to have won you a great deal of respect. Nonetheless, the Order is not endowed to conduct military actions on behalf of Oleon. Your monks here have been issued with a formal caution on behalf of the crown. With all this in mind, I must ask you, directly; you have often stated that you are not looking to start any wars. Is this still the case? Your friend, Renè Duchamp Renè, No. François
  21. I really like this build. There are a lot of screens. Did you take inspiration from SWTOR? I tried to be a bit more rural with my build, but maybe I'll make the cat D one a bit more urban.
  22. @Capt Wolf I've got an entry for Cat A, which I'll upload tomorrow, but it doesn't meet the brief to the extent I'd like. I was planning to augment it over the weekend, but do to a family tragedy, I won't be able to do that. Do you mind if I add to my build over the next week or so?
  23. A lovely little build. Nicely done.
