I completely disagree. Race swapping roles is just stupid, just like gender swapping roles is stupid. That doesn’t make me racist or sexist, it just makes me someone who values consistency of classic characters rather than cheap ways to advertise “inclusion”

Now I feel much more particular about this year’s sets and bummed that we aren’t getting any Order members or death eaters in the sets we know about. I really hope the other two sets have some

Hopefully there will be more solid material as well. If it’s popular enough, I’m sure tv shows and/or movies will follow. They're testing an entirely new era of Star Wars, I’m sure we’ll see some on screen material at some point

Wait, I thought the sunlight is what discolors the pieces in the first place. My Republic Gunship from 2013 got discolored pretty badly and if there’s a way to reverse that I’d love to try it

Buildable D-O is pretty much exactly what could be expected. Not really into those types of sets but kinda neat nonetheless. I would probably collect them if they were cheaper

Also, the information we’ve gotten for this wave came from toy fair second hand so I would hold out hope that we might get some drips of info from this toy fair. There won’t be anything official though

Yeah I’ll be very surprised if we don’t get Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka. I think Rex is very possible too, but I don't think we can realistically expect any other main characters, as much as I would love Maul, Trench, and Bo Katan, not to mention the Bad Batch and other clones. Maybe we can expect more if they continue the CW sets next year, but for the few we’re getting this year, I’m trying not to expect much as far as figures. Probably a fair amount of generic clones and battle droids

This isn’t strictly on topic but I just wanted to mention it because I really just realized that I actually don’t really mind stickers in sets very much. They just add that bit of detail that Lego parts can’t quite manage. What sucks is when you accidentally mess them up and then they’re practically impossible to fix but they really add a lot to a set. If you take a ship that has stickers for added detail and then take the stickers away (I’ve seen people who hate stickers do this) it genuinely looks worse because that bit of detail, that we don’t quite notice as much when it’s there, stands out like a sore thumb when it isn't there. So yeah, I think stickers actually add positive detail to sets and I don’t mind them much. That’s why I never really complain about them as much as I would expect I suppose. They’re not that bad. It’s also the reason why some MOCs just don’t quite cut it. They don’t have that extra detail

It’s only a thing for people who like to complain. A lot of Star Wars vehicles are ugly gray boxes. The Lego versions are just accurate to their on screen counterparts. The Razor Crest is literally an ugly gray box but it’s iconic and therefore great in LEGO. I mean, would people really prefer a bright orange version instead? I just don’t understand why people complain about these things when it’s just an accurate representation of the ship from the series

Thank you! Yes this is very true. People’s expectations for some sets are just not realistic sometimes. Personally I think this set is spectacular and there’s really nothing to gripe about. A few days ago we all thought we were getting nothing from this series! Come on people. If anyone was really expecting new carbonite molds (which would have been a waste of budget imo) they need to lower their expectations. I think the only real complaint is that there should be more minifigs

With all the complaints lately, and iffy sets and waves, can we all just take a moment to appreciate TLG for this set? What an amazing set, even without Beskar Mando and Moff Gideon, we’ll probably get them in season two sets

I think it only looks slightly off because of the angle of the photo. Some angles of the show showed how long it was and it surprised me sometimes Pictures are out go check it out! Sorry, no new mold for IG-11

This is amazing!! It would have been better with Moff Gideon and a full Beskar Mando though. But definitely a day one purchase!

I ended up getting all the sets because I loved the vehicle designs and they complete the collection regardless of how bad the movie was

Remember Razor Crest still hasn’t been confirmed. It’s been hinted at but I feel like we’ve heard more info against it than for it. I sincerely hope the rumor is true (believe me, I would love nothing more) but I absolutely cannot get my hopes up since last we heard there were not supposed to be any Mando sets

There is no evidence that any 501st clones will be in the BARC Speeder & AT-RT set. Let’s not accidentally start a false rumor to give people more fuel to their complaints. If some people think a 501st-centric set is coming and then it’s revealed to not be the case, they’ll freak out

That set is inevitable at some point even if we don’t get it now
