Wow this was seriously unexpected if it’s real!

I could have sworn I saw a post on IG confirming a Dobby minifigure saying it was almost the same as the CMF version with slight variation. The post disappeared right away and I’m not even sure who posted it, it was on someone's story. It was one of the usual leakers because they are the only stories I follow. I’ve been waiting all day for a follow up post or more info about it but it’s been silent, almost like they posted t before they were supposed to and then took it down and didn’t mention it again

I was really excited when I heard that we’re getting super Mario sets and I couldn’t wait to see the figures and then I saw what it all looks like and now I don’t care. Big disappointment, great for kids I suppose but doesn’t interest me

Yeah if WW series two was at TF at all, that’s news to me

I knew it would be another helmet. The price being exactly the same couldn’t be a coincidence. That’s why I didn’t want to get my hopes up for a regular system set

No one is saying that, but listing them in an updated list of confirmed sets could lead to misinformation

It’s certainly not impossible but I would say it’s improbable based on the fact that we’ve seen the size of a microscale Diagon Alley and it does not have $400 potential. Hogwarts is a lot bigger than DA so making a DA at the same scale as Hogwarts would make it a very tiny set. To make a DA set at $400 they would have to have it at a bigger scale than Hogwarts

Interesting to see this news, we’ll still have to wait for undeniable confirmation to be sure but it’s looking more likely. I don’t really see a $400 microscale Diagon Alley. It would probably be system scale with a handful of buildings and (hopefully) minifigs

These are about what I expected. Stormtrooper looks weird, Boba looks very nice but neither are worth $70. I’ll probably pick up Boba’s if I find a really nice discount

I people get the clones they’ve been demanding and still find reason to complain, I give up on the Lego community

You just won Eurobricks with that reference. Although the point still stands. He needs to prove himself. We still don’t know that they’re 501st troops. But either way, it looks like there were certainly elements of truth in his information, which is a start to earning a better reputation

Discussing who are reliable leakers and who isn’t is a very big and important part of this whole thing. What information we trust is what drives all the discussion here to begin with. We can’t help it if your favorites aren’t the reliable ones

Nobody has a problem with people wanting a 501st battlepack. It’s the aggressive and demanding campaign for one that turns people off of it. Big difference

Well his cloud city leaks were completely wrong. There are reasons why he’s not considered a reliable source. I’ve got nothing against the guy, just a simple man trying to make his way in the universe. But he does need to earn that reliability and I think he understands that. If he keeps giving solid information that pans out, more people will respect him as a leaker. He’s very young and he’s a YouTuber, just not who I would go to for reliable leaks. Maybe someday, who knows?

My gosh please! The last thing we need is for people to assume we’re getting 501st troops and then when we don’t they boycott the clone wars sets so Lego thinks they don’t sell well and never make anymore again

My belief is that Ryan at MandR isn’t just making this up based on his mixed feelings about it in the video (yes, I watched it to see what he actually said about it). I’m not a fan of all the teenage Lego youtubers necessarily, but people want what they want, and I can definitely understand the deep desire for a 501st battle pack (not that I condone the aggressive campaign for it which has probably brought the chances of it actually happening to zero). He most likely heard it from someone else like he said and just is in the fence about liking it since it would finally be a 501st “battle pack” type set but it’s also $30. All this to say, judging by his reaction to the rumor, I believe he truly heard it somewhere, but it may still not be true

And Crabbe. We got Goyle in one of the 2011ish sets but no updated Crabbe unless I’m completely forgetting. He had a yellow version in the Slytherin Common room I think

I’d be very happy with an A-Wing and I love the prequels but I love the OT as well. Why does it have to be either OT fan or PT fan? I’d say I’m just a Star Wars fan so both are wonderful. We are finally getting prequel representation with the Gunship soon enough, which will hopefully open the door to more in the future now that Lego knows we want them. I want an A-Wing because it’s the only OT Rebellion fighter that hasn’t been done yet.

Yes of course, I’m not saying it’s even likely, just listing off possibilities since we really have nothing to go on. But that was also ten years ago, the theme is very different now, very organized and planned out. I’m not saying it’s an indication of anything but it is the second COS product we know about this year. I’m just not sure why they’re giving that film so much attention

Or maybe they’ll just change him slightly by printing the Hogwarts Crest and badge on his robes or something. Or maybe they released him like this because we’re getting a Chamber set soon but they couldn’t fit him into the set for whatever reason. This figure just doesn’t really make sense without that set

I feel like Disney 3 is almost as unlikely as DC considering series 2 just happened. A new license is probably the most likely scenario

I agree wholeheartedly. Ginny should absolutely be included. Now that we aren’t getting a CMF this year I’m gonna be a lot pickier about minifig lineup in these sets. In a HBP wave, there’s just no excuse not to include Ginny in at least one set
