    I really love the Scrooge minifig. Does anyone know if there will be chase figures in this set? I know its a bit early but if a distribution count per box has been rumored yet.

    Barnes and Noble in the US have been putting out the Mickey and Minnie brickheadz early. There are 2 per store I picked up a set yesterday. Built Mickey and it was really neat how they designed it especially the tail.

    Anyone know why the sets that were to be released tomorrow have now been delayed to Oct 1st? The only set that is still scheduled to be released tomorrow is the Minecraft set which ironically enough was the last new set to be added to the lego website. Even the Rocket and Groot set which was up on the website for the longest time has been pushed back to Oct 1st along with the 3 new Star Wars sets and Jack/Sally (though I dont disagree with this set coming out in October vs August) I was looking forward to getting these sets tomorrow outside of the Minecraft ( not into that at all) which is now the only one releasing tomorrow

    The new star wars Brickheadz sets are up on the lego website now and have a release date of August 1st along with the Jack and Sally set and the Rocket/Groot set.

    Picked up the batwing a few weeks back when walmart and amazon were having their sales. I think it was around 45 bucks. Barnes and Noble in the US has had the lego batman sets discounted 30% for the last two months, most of the good sets were snatched up really quickly. I don't know how but there was a Barnes about 20 miles away that still had the ultimate batmobile in stock. With my barnes membership discount it came out to 88 bucks. Pretty pleased with both finds and planning to build them both sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.

    BTTF wasnt exclusive in the US at least, they were sold at Target stores. It was immediately back ordered online (along with Little Mermaid) when they went on sale so I am guessing that they just didn't have much stock to ship out to retailers yet if its meant to be a non-exclusive set. Though I have yet to see the Tactical Batman/Superman combo in stores here either just at the Lego shop and online. BTTF may have been a lego store and target exclusive as I haven't seen it anywhere else here.

    not sure about lego stores but at least in the US S@H immediately had that set and the Little Mermaid set on backorder as soon as it went on sale on the 1st. I was refreshing the page like crazy to pick up those along with the Star Wars and HP Brickheadz. The Ghostbusters were temporarily available yesterday and my order was shipped. But now the Ghostbusters are backordered again. My guess is there probably just wasn't much produced to begin with and Lego didn't anticipate the demand for it considered it was dropped 3 other major franchise Brickheadz releases on the same day (HP, SW, and Frozen). I should hopefully have mine late next week.

    Where did you hear about the Homer/Krusty set? Also being Walmart exclusive? I made a MOC of Homer actually two weeks ago would be nice to compare how it would look to an official lego creation. Hopefully a picture comes out soon.

    180 isnt too bad of a price point for this set. I am definitely getting this, I know I saved up my VIP credit for a reason.

    Disagree with your #2 and #1 options mainly because i dont view them as "iconic" Simpsons landmarks. Moes Tavern would be great but I don't think Lego would do a bar given its family friendly outlook. The Nuclear Power Plant would be another good option for a larger set along with the Elementary School In terms of vehicles: The School Bus, Mr. Plow as you mentioned, the car Homer designed (green car with a dome and multiple horns), Honestly what I would love to see is a UCS-sized Futurama ship before any more Simpsons sets

    I agree about Rocket i think the colors for his fur look off. It seems a bit too brown for me. From what I could tell in pictures he isn't the traditional black/gray in raccoons but he certainly isnt that brown. I am not sure if Lego was trying not to create a new color just for that set or what. Felt a bit disappointed since they've been pretty on point with the recent brickheadz reveals (outside of the Jack one)

    Looks like the Lego Twitter officially announced The Little Mermaid double set. I like the look of Ursula but not sold just yet on Ariel. I dont know when it may be actually released though. Anyone have an idea?

    I dont disagree with what you said I am sure though if anyone wanted GoT brickheadz it would be fairly easily to make with the different parts out there and swords being available thanks to the castle/knights line. I think Lego will always stick to their family friendly themes unless they really hit a snag when it comes to sales, but right now it doesn't appear that way though. Back to the original topic of "desired" brickheadz It would be neat to see Lego venture into getting some anime licenses like Naruto, DragonBall, Pokemon etc. I've been thinking of trying to build one of Naruto myself.

    Older stuff is shared with the younger kids but they do not attach onto them the same way. When I tried to show some of the more classic/iconic 80s movies to a younger generation they just weren't impressed whether if it was the special effects (usually the case) or the story itself. But with all things when it comes to kids a property like Back to the Future isnt "cool" now or something that is popular for them to talk about at school etc. So while they may be aware of older movies or shows those products are not going to really sell that well among that demographic.

    could be the case i wonder if the Ron/Dumbledore set was supposed to be a TRU exclusive. There are plenty of pictures of the box and sets online. The other 2 HP Brickheadz sets though have been up on the lego website as "coming soon" for a while though. Hopefully they are up on the 1st because right now it seems I'll be buying quite a few new sets on the first otherwise.

    The Jack looks weird because of the domed side pieces for me and no dome head. For me either no dome pieces anywhere and keep it square and in line with the Brickheadz motif. Also i think if they used larger black tile pieces for the eyes it would look more like Jack. I may modify it myself once I get it. The TLG Twitter said the Ghostbusters pack should be released July 1st but there is nothing on the Lego website right now for sale. Also the Ron/Dumbledore set is yet to go up. Is this common for the Lego website? The other sets that are due on July 1st are already up there. Or does any know if the Ghostbusters or the Ron/Dumbledore pack is supposed to exclusive to a retailer?

    Never thought of it that way, while these are marketed towards kids I felt that Lego did do some sets such as the Back to the Future and the upcoming Ghostbusters more for the adult collectors since its not like today's kids would really know either franchise all that well. I was thinking more of sets that would be more for the "older" collector.

    I am hoping that they will release some of the various comic con exclusives like Spiderman, Dr. Strange, Black Panther etc. out as a regular releases similar to how Boba Fett is coming out later this year. I understand the exclusivity part and all, but some of those characters are awesome and its a shame that it now costs several hundred dollars on the secondary market to get them. In terms of new sets it would be cool to see some classic animated characters from Looney Toons and also characters from Game of Thrones

    Thanks everyone! Looking forward to being a part of this community. Built 21042 over the weekend and its way more impressive than I thought. I only have 3 other architecture sets (the 3 Paris landmarks) so this was a nice change of pace. Now the struggle is where to put it.

    Not many people know about the original color, most people will recognize the statue based on its green right now. At the end of the day Lego does need to sell its product and pretty much everyone, not just those who live in the US recognize the statue's green color. Its iconic now. The lack of a face though is starting to grow on me. It would look ugly if it was a sticker and its too small to have actual face detail. I was pretty impressed with the overall design of the statue including the reinforcement on the inside.

    I wish there was a more UCS style deleroan released. The Cuusoo set isnt bad but I want something larger and more detailed.

    I love the ursula brickhead but not so much the Ariel one. I think the one MOC that was on the brothers-brick was a lot better for Ariel. I probably will still end up getting it though of course The HP sets are just amazing though. I absolutely love them and can't wait till they are out. Harry/Hedwig and Hermoine are on the lego site already any idea when Ron and Dumbledore are coming out? Thanks

    Just got the statue and looking forward to putting it together this weekend. Its the largest architecture build I think out there in terms of number of pieces which maybe why they went with the number bags. It still looks really cool and I am looking forward to doing it. I really like the numbered bags for larger builds because the work space I have for putting together set is not too large so it helps me not have pieces scattered all over the carpet and all. Plus it helps me build a set over a course of few days if I need to. I can just do the first series of bags and then move on instead of having a bunch of pieces all laid out.

    Just got mine! ordered the Statue of Liberty architecture set to get it. I think its the coolest free item I have seen Lego give away. My only wish that it had the mermaid in it as part of the storybook instead, but it looks like you can have that added in as the other build suggestions show

    just got my statue of liberty delivered right now! Its always fun to get packages delivered at work (things go missing at my apt building too often) because it feels like christmas! Looking forward to putting it together this weekend.
