  1. https://lego-dimensions.fandom.com/wiki/Bat-Raptor
  2. I doubt we'll get a GCPD station, but another Arkham wouldn't surprise me. It and the Batcave are two sets that get renewed pretty often, and it's been three years since our last proper Arkham (eight since our last DCSH one). I'm hoping we get a Bat Raptor soon (it's from the Batman Who Laughs comic, and Mcfarlane made one).
  3. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's because they have a larger tooling budget for DC products.
  4. It has gyro, an accelerometer, some sort of camera in the feet, and the screens. Amiibo just have an RFID chip.
  5. The reason those get approved and sets like the maze get discontinued quickly is because they don't sell. Licensed nostalgia sets and realistic space sets are what sell to adult collectors, which is who Ideas is mainly for. Same with Architecture, iconic landmarks are what sell. Like, most people would rather have something recognizable and iconic instead of a Gothic cathedral like three people can name.
  6. I think there's some sort of electronic component to Bowser's Castle. When Mario was placed on the platform, Bowser slid forward, p, And I don't see how a non-electronic mechanism could accomplish that. So I wonder if there's some sort of motor in the back of the castle (remember, they recently put out those more kid friendly motors). I might be completely wrong, but perhaps the arms and bridge are motorized.
  7. In response to all the people asking about the dumb religion thing, I don't remember the person's reasoning (I think it may have had something to do with Man of Steel). Also, I really hope we get Batgirl sets. I kinda hope we get some minidoll sets as well (I imagine we'd get more sets that way). But like, I really hope Lego keeps it up with DC. The Harley fig looks great, the CMF was pretty much perfect, and the Wonder Woman set is amazing.
  8. My favorite is "you can't appreciate DC if you're an atheist"
  9. This theme is going to change the cursed Lego game
  10. Okay, I take all my negativity back. This will do well, and I'm hyped af. Also, are we sure the promo set isn't a regular retail set they're throwing in as a bonus. Additionally, wtf is the stone thing? I don't think it matches up with a Thwomp variant.
  11. Honestly, the Marvel vs DC thing has always been really stupid imo. Like, you can prefer X-Men to Doom Patrol or whatever, but this sort of rivalry just hurts the industry and makes the community seem childish. Like, just read what you like. I mostly stick to DC because I prefer the characters and universe, as well as it being what I grew up with, but if there's a Marvel book that interests me, I don't hesitate to pick it up. And honestly, with what's going on right now, comics fans need to band together for the industry to make it through this. So long story short, everyone, support your local comics shop when they reopen, most of them are already running either at a loss or at a very slim profit margin, so this may very well be a death blow if people don't spend money there when they reopen. Idk, buy a few comics, pick up your pulls, and buy a few of those dusty Power of the Force figures that haven't moved once the entire time you've been shopping there.
  12. I imagine even if we get minifig scale sets, they'll use the new elements.
  13. The thing isn't even worth $60. To put things in perspective, the basic 2DS is $60. There's no way this thing costs as much as that to produce. I doubt it even costs half as much as that does. This toy is worth $30 at most. I doubt many parents will be willing to pay $60, as from what I've seen, most parents don't buy anything above $40 unless it's for a special occasion.
  14. I want to apologize for how I acted. I've had a rough week, and I took it out on you guys. My relationship is falling apart and I've been really scared lately.
  15. I really can't see this selling well. With the economic crash, families can't afford to drop $60 on a stupid gamble to see if little Timmy will like his dumb Mario baby toy. This theme is garbage and I think it's going to kill Lego. I for one am giving up on Lego. It's a pity, I loved Lego, but they keep doing dumb stuff like this, Trolls, Minions, and whatever's happening with their DC line. And that's all just this year. Lego's dead. It's just going to get worse and worse. Star Wars doesn't sell well anymore. Those busts won't sell well. D-0 won't sell well (D-0 toys line clearance shelves across the country because Disney decided to market the stupid JJ Abrams self insert droid rather than Babu Frik or Baby Yoda). They aren't doing Clone Wars sets, and there are only a couple of Mando sets. Black Widow's going to bomb, as will Wonder Woman, which seem to be Lego's two big pushes for this year. They're screwing up at every turn. This will go down in history as the year which mortally wounded Lego. I give them five years at most before they go under. Consumer level toy companies as a whole won't make it to 2030. Mattel's on the verge of going under, relying on He-Man of all stupid things to keep themselves afloat. Don't get me wrong, I love MOTU, but people aren't going to take it seriously. To the average person, the entire brand is the Filmation cartoon. It's a genuinely awful cartoon. Hasbro's biggest hitters, Marvel and Star Wars are just warming shelves. The Marvel hype's died down (which I think we will see after Black Widow comes out), and Star Wars is pretty much dead when it comes to merchandising. The end is near. Toys are doomed. The end is near. Toys are doomed. The end is near. Toys are doomed.
  16. We've known for years that 2021 is when the license is up Ninjago and Star Wars don't sell. Same with Trolls. Minions will also flop. Lego's doomed.
  17. I hope Lego cancels this soon. All my local stores (and I live in a large town for my state) are filled to the brim with old Ninjago sets (some as old as Sons of Garmadon). These things don't move. The brand isn't what it used to be. It's going to be a big part of what will kill Lego. Believe me, the end is near.
  18. I can't see these selling well at all. Minions aren't big anymore. This is going to contribute to Lego's inevitable demise. This is going to be just like those Trolls sets, which are taking up shelf space.
  19. I'm hoping Lego cancels this line soon. Don't get me wrong, I love DC, but these aren't selling. These and Mario will be the death of Lego, believe me.
  20. I'm expecting one of two things to happen. Either these don't sell at all, or scalpers buy all of the Mario sets. If the latter happens, I can see this theme being counted as a success, and Lego stupidly continuing it. Either way, this spell certain death for Lego, especially because they lose the Star Wars license next year. I think it's time we all move on.
  21. They've been megablocking up a lot lately. I think it's time for all of us to jump ship here. Lego can't do anything right anymore.
  22. This theme's so dead. Honestly, I think this might be the beginning of the end for Lego.
  23. He's eleven parts. His ears are 1x1 round tiles.
  24. The sixty dollar one has roughly the amount of pieces seen in the teaser with the pipe, Goomba, and flagpole, and the ten dollar sets are costume.
  25. Damn, it looks like that $60 set will be the only one with Mario. This theme's dead on arrival.
