  1. Yeah Boris is a good guy if he wasn't the Mayor, Because people hate him, so everyone thinks "Oh, Boris, His an idiot". I mean, the first thing he did when he was elected mayor was, Well...Guess. Yes he He also does stupid things like rides around london on a Bike to encourage cyclists, WHY?!, he makes himself look like a idiot: And he played Football and Why!
  2. Im guessing we are going to be getting many more "idle" members to this site just so they can get a hold of the advantage.
  3. I love the gas mask, Im going to definitely make a big WW1 MOC using these Items!
  4. I make my Headrails using 1 x 2 Plates, but they are extremely fragile and they move to easy. What techniques do you use to make your headrails? Because this would be another good thread to go into the new upcoming Technique index. Because I want easy and good looking way to build the Headrails because it is hard with my bow technique.
  5. I remember getting a few Puckle guns and Rogers Rangers and a few Grenadiers and Green Jackets to advance through the forest, The puckles picked off the heavy units and the Grenadiers to throw there nades, then the Green jackets picked off the last of the men whilst they were retreating. That was the only time I totally destroyed the enemy, Usually they waver and retreat.
  6. So its sort of like a Bricklink, But not from diffrent people all over the world, Just from Lego?
  7. The Bayonets are Woody64's Shapeway customs, they are very nice.
  8. Im sorry, This may sound stupid but I dont really understand what this is. Can someone explain it to me without all the LUG and numbers? Thanks
  9. Well it could be a good way to raise troop morale. Because it could help you advance through any terrain with smiles on the troopers faces whilst sitting in trenches awaiting there long awaited fuel to advance or retreat. So they can then advance towards the enemy like Blitzkrieg.
  10. Wow, Thats a incredibly smart way to hide it isn't it. He proberbly waited behind the wall of Sets and pounced on a employee, stole the sticker maker and quickly printed them out. And then placed the evidence on the shelf. And if your going to get sarcastic, Have a point. It helps. Here I was offering a alternative to why they might be in a Stationary Store, And here you are being ignorant by being sarcastic towards me. The reason why the prices are high is because theres a brand new thing, no one has ever heard of it, Its called the "Credit Crunch", I know, it sounds spooky doesn't it. Not everything in this world is cheap. And yes, Sometimes in life you have to spend something called "Money".

    Car Talk

Would you like to come with me then? I mean you seem to know absolutely every single little thing about cars. Good enough for me Especially if you already have a spare car to use. Which I will have. If I like fancy cars, thats my decision, if I lose lots of money, thats my fault. But Im taking a chance to get a nice car, I dont want to buy a Citreon Saxo which sounds like a Gravy company, and it feel horrible driving it, I'd much rather wait to get a car I like and can be proud of. Its not like Im actually going to go ahead a buy the Phaeton, I was just stating that would you prefer to buy a crappy flat in a bad neighbourhood just because you really want to own a house, or would you prefer to save up and buy a place you can be proud of, and show your friends? New doesn't necessaraily mean Brand-New. And Im English, So I mean, £8000, We use £. Ever looked on AutoTrader UK? Theres a car 2007 07 Reg JAGUAR X-TYPE 2.0 litre S - Price: £8,399 And if so Jaguars are soo popular over here in England, The Creators of Jaguar, the parts must be easy to get a hold of because this is the home of Jaguar.
  12. Thats a very good suspension system! Im just wondering whether it would work with a Mine. Is the belly of the car armour plated? So no shrapnel can get into the gasoline.
  13. I got that Toy on the page! I remember buying these ages ago: Somehow I forgot what the movie is like.
  14. If he was I don't think he would bother to make it out of Lego I watched alot of Pyramid shows, but not Palace shows. Because there isn't many temples or palaces left standing. But heres a useful site for your MOCing. His name is Galen R Frysinger, His a traveller, he travelled all over the world.
  15. Yeah the colours remind me of Rasberry Cake:
  16. Do you really expect a stationary shop to sell Lego sets cheaper than say Toyrus or Woolworths used to? Are you sure its not from another store, Say someone tryed to steal it but decieded to dump it.
  17. Its quite a nice technique. But I think its more suited to choppy high seas. Rather than shore port towns. Id like to see a small ship sailing on a 32x32 Blue Baseplate.

    Car Talk

And? Its still a good looking car: I mean my dad bought a 2002 Renault Espace for £12,000 in 2003-4 I can't exactly remeber, But nowheredays it costs £5000, And who cares! It has been reliable for my dad, He uses it for work, which is about a 1 and 1/2 hour drive each day. So that has lasted quite a while, and wil last quite a while longer. So if you buy a cheap Jaguar for like £6k, it doesn't matter that within 3 years its going to cost £4k, You still have a luxury saloon, with a pretty good engine. So Im fine with that. Anywho, If you buy the Jaguar when your say 20 or older, then buy the time it depreciates alot, you will have enough money to buy a brand new one that will cost like £6-8k. So its not that bad.

    DUST

Sure, Send me the lego, I can't guarantee you'll see it again but, Ill try my best.
  20. Well you can get these Slopes: Here But that would take time, and look to fine. Mabye it would be easier to use the Ship Building Technique: And just get a lot of 8x8 Tan plates and make a big wall, then you can tile it later. It will give the "limestone brick" look.

    DUST

They just scracth the door with there hands which gets annoying. Anywho, I tryed your ToothBrush Idea and I wet a spare one, got all the dust off in about 10 seconds!
  22. You do realise that since this is a English Speaking site, that everyone here should be able to understand plain English... So whats the Expert needed for? I mean, If they need a Expert, that must mean its got to be something big.
  23. Very nice! I love the Totenkopf on the hats! We showed the French at Waterloo, eh?
  24. Email from the people: "Thank you for your interest in James May’s Lego House. We still need volunteers for this weekend, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August. To make it easier for us to contact you, please send us your mobile number if you are interested in taking part. You will need to be able to attend Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey from 9am until 5pm on either Saturday, Sunday, or both days. Due to the physical nature of the work, we will not now be admitting children under 15. We apologise if you are not personally contacted. Our team will do their best to read every application." So Im guessing that they are going to start making the stairs and Flushable toilets now.
  25. Cowards! Hey do you have Steam? If you do theres a free MOD for Half-Life called Battlegrounds, Its about the War of Independence, Theres a server called the 51st that do Line Battles (Line up, Fire, Reload) and it is sooo fun. You shoud buy Half-Life 2 and download the MOD. The Frontiersman in that game were a bright white shirt, which you can easily see through the trees, so It is usually British Victories!
