"Here's forty shillings on the drum For those who'll volunteer to come To 'list and fight the foe today. Over the hills and far away. O'er the hills and o'er the main. Through Flanders, Portugal and Spain. King George commands and we obey. Over the hills and far away." Says it all.

You like Pirate Metal? Rammstein does Reise Reise! "Reise, Reise Seemann Reise Und die Wellen weinen leise In ihrem Blute steckt ein Speer Bluten leise in das Meer!"

Hound Knight will most probably be busy with schoolwork you know. So he will most probably take time to draw all the piles and piles of requests. And im not trying to be a moderator but could you not keep on saying things like: "I´ll flood the thread with my tears until you found the time to process my request from... months ago... " Because it makes Hound feel as if his letting you guys down.

Wahahaha! The Bluecoats are wavering! Anywho, I saw Martinsuper on the other day. I think, and no offence, this second round was to complicated. Not everyone followed the planning topic.

I just recieved a letter from customs about my order and they said "We have your order" but they want us to pay £20 for shipping, although we already payed the shipping! My Dad has inquired about why they want us to pay for shipping and ifit includes the past order we orderd around the 7th July and never recieved.

But if you think about it. The Flying Dutchman would be waaayyy to complicated for Lego to do, and even if they did, they would have to have big purposely made Lego Pieces. Cause the flying dutchman has ots of bones and lime-greeny creme pieces. If you can fin out a way to make a perfect replica of that in Lego, I would certainly buy it. But Lego do not make 2 Decker ships. And the Black Pear could be alright to make, but you would have to use sort of Lego "Community MOC Techniques": Its sort of like the Mary Rose design.

Zuloo, You just hit the nail on its head! Thats exactly my point of view. The last two movies got too...Crazy. I mean the Second movie is the worst, To fantasy. First movies good cause it had Port Royal and British stuff. The third was alright but a bit stupid. A whole armada of Batteships retreat just cause 2 ships destroyed one of theres. Its like Pirates have 9 ships, Armada has like 20-30 ships. However it would be nice to get some Undead Pirates. Rather than just a Lego Minifig with a Skull head, I would prefer molded bone leg on one side and normal leg the other. :pir-skull:

MAJOR reasons why Pirates WILL return in 2010!
Joey Lock replied to Imperial Governer's topic in LEGO Pirates
Or, They just forgot to add the design because its well known that Lego are failing in the quality part. But you could be right. -
Ok, Its now been 14 Days since It was shipped. Still haven't recieved it. Ok, There was a slight Postoffice mishap in the UK a few days ago but...14 DAYS!

I would like a New tutorial on how to make sails. On how to make these sails: Because Evil Willy and Paul Cantu's tutorials are mostly for Original Pirate sets and small pirate sloops. But I am building a the HMS Unicorn and will need quite big sails.

Ill proberbly stick with the Vauxhall but I if I did get the Replica I just didn't want people laughing at it when I went by sounding like a normal everyday car. I wanted to wow people. EDIT: Just recieved the reply from the MR2Kits.co.uk owner, and he sent me some pictures with it: "Hi Please find attached photos as requested. Seats are very much personal choice - the ones we used in our demo car are Sparco Milano prestige leather in tan colour and all other plastics were colour coded to suit. The best donor for performance is the mr2 mk2 rev 3 turbo giving 245bhp as standard which is easily rasied to over 300bhp without major modification. For sound, the easiest engine to fit into the mr2 is the Camry 3.0 V6. Others have fitted V8s into the mk2 but this is a major project."

But I thought the meaning of the contest was "Fun" as I learnt from before? "Participants can use any other Lego factions, themes, sets, etc. as they see fit as long as at least one Redcoat and one Bluecoat appears in each submission"

Man I love this! That cannonball looks extremely scary, especially the way it can break through a wall of the fort! We could be a comedy duo! Everyone always mistakes my poor old face for Obi Wan
-
Now you make it sound possible! Who should I trust?
-
No one needs to bribe, you vote for anyone who doesn't disagree with you... And as you said about in order, I don't even think the Bluecoats know what order they are in. Frontbeast must be first, so who is next? And this time, I can't lose points for my team with comments.
-
The way you make it sound hard, I might aswell stick with the Vauxhall VX220. Its just I don't get how it can be "IMPOSSIBLE" to replicate something that sounds at least any bit convincing like a Ferrari or Lamborghini. I mean that Camry engine he used, sounded quite like the Ferrari I heard in another video. So Im pretty sure using that would convince people...

Nice going Hornbricker! Sooo...Im guessing the Blues are going to lose this round... I mean we already have 3 entries, shouldn't they have at least one entry?

As in run do you mean price?: Comprehensive GTF kit - £6500 comprises: Front end, Front diffuser/spoiler, Rear end, Rear bumper, Side sills X 2, Door skins X 2, Double skinned bonnet, Rear deck, Rear diffuser and vertical fins, Folding wings mirrors, mechanisms and glass (LHD and RHD script), Rear window and rear qtr windows, Window rubber trims, Front headlights complete with headlamps, indicators, side lights, trims, shells and lens covers (in kit form), Rear lights complete, 3rd brake light, Side repeater indicators, Bonnet and rear deck hinges, Door handle mechanisms and handle covers, Bonding agents, nuts and bolts etc to fit the kit, All hardware required, Build manual And options: GTF Dashboard - £400 (includes centre, left and right vent panels, heater panel and parts list for vents and other add ons and wiring diagrams) GTF Engine cover - £300 - GRP panel only with shopping list for ancillary parts. Leather interior kit - remodelled mr2 seats and door card inserts - £750 Exhaust - £750 - custom made in stainless steel. Coilover suspension - £650 Wheels - £650 (18") £850 (19") Tyres - £500 (18") £600 (19") Hub extensions - £350 set of 4 Big Brake dummy kit - £220 GTF H-gate kit and centre tunnel - £200 Steering wheel - £120 GTF Badge kit - £80 Or you could get a turnkey car, all ready for you for £22K up to around £26K. So my decision is to buy the Lamborghini or the Ferrari, Thats if I will bother to buy a Replica car. I just simply wanted to know what was easier to replicate, A ferrari or a Lamborghini, In performance wise, luxury wise and Sound wise.
-
These are extremely nice MOCs! But weres the Bluecoat entry, eh? I love how you use the fire plume to make the Admirals hat on fire
-
Well I I got the Ferrari, It would proberbly be a town car, So I would never drive really fast so they might not know its a replica. On this video: they use some Exhausts and It sounds pretty good, can you tell me i this sounds anything like the Ferrari. Cause I messaged the maker of the Video and he said it was a Camry Engine he used.
-
Quick Question. I know 5150 will say its not easy to replicate and stuff. But what is the easiest to at least sound a bit like the real car. Which Engine noise is easier to replica using other engines, A Ferrari F430 or the Lamborghini Murcielago? Another company makes a Ferrari F430 Replica which has a brilliant interior: Unlike in the Lamborghini: Cause it is this: Or this: But I thought which would be easier to live with as a Replica.

But what I don't understand is that, The Redcoats were beaten...Well, I was going to say fair and square but some votes *cough* Adam *Cough* may have been on purpose So if the Redcoats have been beaten, why do the bluecoats get to carry on making MOCs to insult Redcoats! If it is indeed "Blue vs Blue" they should fight, Blue against Blue!
-
No offence to americans but...Its about time! Americans got the Pirate sets before Christmas and we got them in like January or March, So this time, We get the set before the americans! I think Lego is changing, UK is getting a advent calander before america, we are getting special promontional offers before america!

My wanted sigfigs, including Staff & Members
Joey Lock replied to JCC1004's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Isn't that Ederbeeries sig-fig? EDIT: If you would like to make me, I have these parts: The Admirals Bicorne. Easiest to get my Head in this set: 7241: Fire Car My torso is the New Imperial Governers uniform but I have Gold Epaulette. And I hold a Telescope which you can get from the same set. -
Yeah, I used to play it, When I had a free trial. It was pretty fun, But way to childish for my liking. It was better that most Nautical games when it comes to Sea Battle. You don't have to engage a ship to go into battle, you just open fire when you feel like it, also the ships were massive and interactive, so you could have a real live crew rather than NPCs. I did enjoy it alot, its just a big shame about the weapons. I mean you get a cutlass with a diffrent name when you level but it never looks any diffrent. Thats why I play Voyage Century online, Much harder, but still its good to play with friends.
