Its a shame that neighbours and stuff aren't as "trusting" as they are in America, thanks to the media. So I can't really do chores, in turn I can't buy much Lego. I guess I was just pre-assuming, Sorry! The last lego set I actually bought myself Cannon Battle in Asdas, 4 sets to be precise. That was early this year. I buy bricks e.g. HMS Unicorn but don't really buy sets because in America, you can get the ARC-170 for $64 and in England you can get the ARC-170 for £64 when it should be half that.

Im pretty sure Lego are going to use the same controls/screen brick that they used in the old set. And that was printed.

Oh but you can tell he has money. Im not saying his my best friend, I only just know him. But by the looks of his collection, he has some rich parents or relatives... Heres a closeup of the helmets:
-
Yeah, he is quite spolied. Have you seen his other videos? He has like 4 MTT's (Droid Carriers) and like 6 AAT Tanks e.t.c. Even if I had the money I wouldn't spend it on Starwars Lego or mabye not even Lego!

My American friend bought the set from Toysrus and has it on Youtube! It looks like a really good set! The helmets are awesome!

Never fear! The Unicorn is here! I break it apart, just like the Post. :pir-skull:

Review: 7590 Toy Story Woody and Buzz to the Rescue
Joey Lock replied to Pugsly's topic in LEGO Licensed
We will see about that! Pliers! Oh where are you? -
Luckily I don't have many pictures, mostly documents and Lego Digital Designer files. And Im guessing the viruses changed an Internet Browser command in the registry... Yeah I might aswell uninstall Windows and buy Windows 7.

Well the game is a Online game, Team Fortress 2, which has the map and Day of Defeat (made by the same company, Valve) has got mixed with the Team Fortress 2 files. I mean, I could uninstall and reinstall easy but I would lose all my map files, so I would have to spend a long while re-loading custom maps like Orange-X. Also about the Anti-Virus, this was months ago it happened. I found a few viruses when I first got Norton in about March-July I don't remember and It could have been one of them, been on there for too long. The main folders that contained viruses were "Free MP3 Converter" sorta things. I had lots of WAV files and I couldn't work out how to convert them with Windows Media Player so I downloaded a few, they had trials so I downloaded others. Then I found out that many of them (Cnet Virus approved) had viruses. So don't trust Cnet. @Big Cam: As in start fresh, do you mean System Rebuild or wipe everything off or what? Also, Im afraid that if my PC has a virus left on it, so deep and hidden, that if I store lots of files onto my external hard drive it would be infected?

I was looking around and I could find no Computer thread. I would like this thread to discuss and Computer problems or questions. Or genreal discussion on PC upgrades e.t.c. Now, Im a games fan. But sadly early this year I found I had alot of Viruses once I bought Norton 360 for a year and Im pretty sure the viruses did there last toll of damage just before they were deleted because since then there have been alot of errors. First and formost, My Internet Browsers, All of them, do not work. No browser based program's work. Steam store doesn't load as it runs on browser base e.t.c. Anyone got any ideas? Ive seen the usual ideas: 1. Have you turned off your Firewall? 2. Have you ran a scan? 3. Have you searched? And so on. Second problem is my Steam games, I try to load a Day of Defeat server and when I look in the console it says "Missing map cp_badlands" which happens to be a Team Fortress 2 map, so some files are messed. But luckily, Steam and steam games work, which is my love. I only use the main PC for games now, for its the only things that work. Im using my brothers OLD laptop to post, which is extremely slow. Anywho to the big question. My dad said he checked everywhere for the Internet browser problem and everyone online had diffrent results, diffrent errors and diffrent solutions. The main problem that came up was something to do with Registry and command consoles which seem a bit long winded. So my dad said (Months ago) "We will do a system rebuild." Still hasn't got around to doing it. But I asked him whether we can rebuild too Windows 7 and hopefully we can. But I just finished installing a THQ Pack (Games) on Steam and it took me hours because they are quite big and I really don't want to have to spend days re-installing everything to my PC but I guess I have to. So I thought, If I am going to do a System Rebuild, I might aswell rebuild some PC components. So I thought I might aswell buy a bigger Hard-drive than my current 290GB or so Hard Drive which is nearly full, But with the System rebuild, do you completely wipe off everything to a External hard-drive? (I have a 1 Terrabyte External hard-drive) If so a new fresh Hard-drive sounds like a good idea. Also I was thinking of trying out 4-8GB of ram, for the complete experiance, mabye a good graphics card and finally, get a spare LCD TV from downstairs and use it as a massive PC screen, but will the screen strecth enough or will it show up as a small box in the middle of the big TV screen? Any Ideas? Discuss your own problems or thoughts too!

Well before you go spending Euros, test it. Test the length with spare bricks, if it looks in proportion, go buy! If it looks slightly out of proportion, Don't listen to Greenhair or Blackmoor, they will tell you to build it "EXACTLY" to replica scale. And try to persuade you to cut down your cannon. But do not give in! 9 midsections would be a nice length, but it depends. Firstly I will need to know: 1. How many cannons are you thinking of having 2. What sort of ship shall it be? 3. Whats the number of space between each gunport?
-
Try a 7th or 8th Midsection. If you don't have enough Blue bricks, just use some multi coloured bricks to visualise the sides and lenghth.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean - Coming Soon?
Joey Lock replied to legolooney's topic in LEGO Pirates
I hoping there will be, But Im hoping these don't mess it up, making it like Clonewars. Fleshies with HUGE eyes and realistic faces. Also I hope they don't make a specialised Barbossa hat that only looks like his hat, rather than a nice pirate hat that can fit onto Brickbeard. And I bet there gonna make Orlando Blooms shirt open, showing his chest, making him look like the hero. Although there is a few topics already discussing this: POTC or Classic Pirates in 2010 And: LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean -
Indeed! Not insulting Captain Greenhairs teachings but I believe sloped looks more...Well...like Lego should be. Most of the latest ships are "non-playable" I mean, all the rigging so close together, no interior, fragile hinges? It is good to see some slopes like I have used on the HMS Unicorn, But I guess it's easier to buy standard bricks than expensive yellow slopes. The some 100-150 slopes I used for the Unicorn cost me around £60 alone.

Wow, That is quite nice! The Colour scheme somehow works! My advice would be try to put 2 Windows at the stern, rather than just the one with shutters. It might look better, Test it out. I'd also say, if you can, Make it longer. The length and height don't really match. usually tall 3 deckers are long, I'd say your length would fit a two decker. Still go with the three decks, Just see if you can buy like 2-3 extra hull pieces. Also mabye change the black bottom part to Brown if you can. It will make the Hull look bigger, like the Big ships had. And the figurehead is a brilliant idea!

Buying a Bluecoat ship? Greenhair selling? Whats going on! Are we to use the ship as a prize for a Museum? Or to gain techniques? Also, Is Greenhair now a pirate again?

The whole of Rammstein's new album "Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da". The songs are all good except one, "P***y". Its stupid to have the chorus in English with those words! But my favourite headbanger is "B********", It is censored but they haven't yet realeased what the title means in English. And my favourite normal song on the album has to be "Frühling in Paris". "Sie rief mir Worte ins Gesicht, die Zunge lustgesträubt; verstand nur ihre Sprache nicht; ich hab' es nicht bereut. Oh non rien de rien Oh non je ne regrette rien Wenn ich ihre Haut verließ - der Frühling blutet in Paris."
-
I'd watch some Jason and the Argonauts. You may want to make a Shamen who can summon Skeleton warriors!

Anyone heard? Terry Herbert, 55, with his metal detector undercovered a hoard of Saxon gold from Fred Johnson's field and will make around 3 Million squid shared from Saxon gold. About 1,500 pieces of gold and silver, mostly weapons and other military artifacts, some inlaid with precious stones where found. An amazing find!

It's called Sabotage!

Bluecoat flag? NEVER!

Obviously Bluecoat Built.

Wow! That dogs so cute! Did anyone hear? Paul O'Gradys dog "Buster" died at the age of 14. He was a regular on his show but in the recent series Buster "retired" but made on and off appearances. Paul O'grady couldn't watch the montage of Busters life played at the end of the show, he had to go offstage. Poor guy.

Very very nice! I think the windmalls a bit to fast looking. Producing thousands of wheat a day! Do you have a video with the working windmill? I looks like it could be a small island connected to the Isle of Wight.
