I saw this list of Wehrmacht Re-enactment groups and found a good looking group called GrossDeutschland Does anyone else Re-enact? Any era? It would be good if we had some UK re-enactors here!

Awesome! I would love to do some Re-enactment, Is it good? Most Re-enactment in the UK is like Civil War and Napoleonic and Knights. I wanted to re-enact as a British Paratrooper or a SS Officer. The best re-enactment I have seen was the one in Poland, May 2007, Sanok-Błonia:

Now Lego going bankrupt wouldn't be a bad thing for me. It will teach them not the charge £24.99 for a Droid Tri-Fighter when the original was £9.99... Lego need a kick to realise. And yes, I know theres a recession but seriously?! £24 for a Land Speeder? If Lego did go bankrupt, they would obviously be saved by one of the Dragons from Dragons Den...The UK Lego sector at least. Lego is the most famous and used children's toy, that goes and the young minds and creation goes. No one will stand by and let them go forever. I found this The Who: It looks as if it is a Damaged German Helmet badge you speak of. I also found some SS Afrika Korps Badges and they look similar to the ones you are talking about, I believe Afrika Korp wore Helmet badges because the Decals wore off easy with the sand. As you see the sand damage. Now many of these badges were used to put on Army troppenhelm (canvas pith helmet) in the Afrika Korps, So there is a chance after the Afrika Korps dissolved the soldier who your helmet belonged to removed or received the badge. Your third fear is the most likely to become true. Well in the UK anyway... From what I hear Obama has said he will heal the recession but over hear "Gordon Brown admits he failed to see economic crisis coming". And they have raised the VAT back to 17.5% after 2009 was a trial year for 15%. 2009 was the year of new cars, to get people buying again. I really don't think the idea was to raise prices further will make people spend more.

The only Nationalism Lego would and has done is Brickbuilt flags. If Lego did do Nationalism, do you really think they would make American sets? I mean, there from Denmark. Plus, No offense but Lego makes all round sets, not country specific sets, besides the USA already get enough from Lego, I mean the sets are practically realised over there months before the UK (Which is closer to Denmark...) and Denmark probably doesn't even get them early... Not that I don't like America, Believe me, Its just the if you really wanted to make Americas history, I don't think you could make legalised sets. Making sets about America's twentieth century with all the wars (WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq) and internal affairs (Protests, Civil Rights e.t.c) would be a impossible thing for Lego to ever sell. As Margim said, Its up to MOCing for that and Custom weapons/decals.

I'd be willing to pay to be able to say anything with no trouble of being banned. Now thats not saying I have anything bad I want to say or shout about, I'm just saying, at the certain moments you should be allowed to have your own opinions and be able to say what you wish as long as it is not cursing. But theres always that lurking sense that your going to far.

My worst fears are: 1. Star Wars will continue for years and take over the forum. 2. Eurobricks may soon become a prison, Anything you say will be recorded and filed. 3. Eurobricks may deny Free Speech which would lead to my second point. Although these are extreme fears and worries but theres a chance.
