Im liking it! I could use some of these for the Unicorn! Looking foward to buying them! Man, Your stuff is so awesome but its a shame Shapeway's raised the prices...

I don't get why that figure is grey... The 101st Airborne didn't have grey uniforms... You should include that 1,000 British bombers drop 5,000 tons of bombs on German gun batteries on the Normandy coast before the invasion. So I'd make the beaches and Pillboxes look slightly damaged by the bombing raid. I am a bit unsure of how your going to make craters in the tiled beach from the constant German 88's? Thats if you want to make this accurate. Also, If you need helmets and stuff, buy some packs from Woody64's Molds.
-
If you need ideas for how to build bunkers or ships I'd ask Baronsat. He makes terrific WWII stuff, shame its, well in my opinion, very overpriced!
-
Man how I'd love to help out! I've always wanted to do this! Just thought it would be too expensive. I actually wanted to make Omaha first, then I thought about Sword Beach because its British like me, plus it was the only beach to face Panzer divisions on the 6th. I then saw a few foreign war movies such as Der Untergang (Downfall) or Stalingrad (German Movie, really good) so I felt like doing a Soviet Russia Stalingrad MOC. Like a full size part of the city.

Same! But I watched it and couldn't see my table. I saw the table with the kid who built the cup instead of the bricks, it was about 3 tables away from me.

Liking the ship! But the inverted slope pieces on the top stern window look a bit strange there. Like they are blocking the top window from sight. But you can do what you want. You gonna try one with the normal Royal Navy Yellow and Black colourscheme?
-
I love the colourscheme and well, It! The Bluecoats are finished. We have Redcoat ships coming from every corner of the world. Surrender, Face the facts Bluecoats.

Very nice work everyone! I love the circlular wall technique in many entries. Cap'n Blackmoor - 4 Very Nice! Not because Im in it, I still can't find myself. But because of the long effort I know that has gone into picking the bricks, buying the bricks and building the bricks whilst under pressure of exams. evildead - 2 Absolutely b-e-a-utiful! The techniques used are amazing! Infomanic - 1 Brilliant techniques and lots of action. A good pair! Good going everyone! Shame I didn't have time to enter the contest...But mabye next time! -
I broke up yesterday but after a long week of Mock GCSE Exams. Having to go in at early hours to do one exam, walking through the freezing cold and it was nice when it snowed. But the snow wasn't falling, it was blowing into my eyes!
-
Well we are not used to Snow, so we try to get as many days off work and school as we can!
-
It did snow in the night for me. However the suns out and its melting. But it is freezing, a bowl of water in our garden froze over, once it broke we took it out, It had 1 thick layer of ice and slush in the middle and then another thick layer on top. I can see loads of snow right out side on the balcony part (My kitchen roof is pratically extended so it is like a balcony but its fragile, you can fall through, Yeah, The guy that used to own my house as a keen DIY man...).
-
Well when I was going Sutton Highstreet to shop today, it was snowing heavy on the bus. Then there was no snow in Sutton Highstreet, just the salt ready pushed to the sides of the pavement. And when we got home, it began to snow. Its been snowing for 2 hours but It stopped about 3 hours ago. Im hoping it will snow through the night as they predicted it would be like 2-3 foot of snow. Hoping that next week will be worse, more snow, more cold. It will make it more like Christmas.

Its happened again! Only this time, At Christmas! Woo!

- My real life name is actually Laurence. But everyone thinks its Joey Lock. - I am a sarcastic guy like Chandler from friends. Or so my friends say. Truthfully, Im not social. I don't like talking with anyone but my friends for longer than 5 minutes. Im useless at phone calls. I really prefer to be alone, but Im not a Emo, Im happy nearly always, but especially when Im alone. - Theres nothing I hate more than Chavs. And people who are ignorant and stuck up. Like those girls with there head in the sky, thinking everyone should do what I say because I have breasts... - My hair used to be quite long, like James Mays hair. But its now short. - My long term dreams are to create a Lego Fleet, learn German, get an Pierre Cardin wool overcoat I saw in TJ Hughes for £100, Buy a Chrysler 300c and put Suicide doors onto it to make it look like a VIP Executive car. Oh and also meet Colin Hay (Musician) , Till Lindemann (Rammstein vocalist) and Tom Hanks. It might sound weird but I would also have liked to have met Adolf Hitler, in the early years of the war. - I'm Christian. I am usually a hypocrit, I notice it myself but no one has accused me of being one. I concentrate on others problems and improvements rather than my own. - I live in Cheam, Surrey, England which is near Sutton and Croydon, the most chav infested places on the earth. - I love History, Cats, PC Games, my favourite sport is Rugby, firstly because its fun, secondly because its the only sport I get picked Captain and chosen to do demenstrations and Thirdly, I can smash people down! - I've never broken a bone in my body or had a nose bleed. But I do get colds easily, Ive had this cold for the past 3 weeks, but it is ust a runny nose, it is especially annoying with this weeks Mock exams, Im sniffing every 2 minutes in a 2 Hour exam.

Very nice! The colourscheme is very strange but it somehow works. I would like to see how a normal gold scheme would work out. I gotta make some of those myself for my fleet!
-
Autloc is the most often Chrysler 300c Suicide door kit. I don't know any others or what there like.
-
The Shanghai Restoration Project feat. Amos Winbush - Babylon of the Orient. I like there other songs too, Really good!

Are you tiger0207 on Brickshelf? Or do you just sell to him? Because if you are, Im your biggest fan! I love your minifigs and Movie posters!
-
Having a look at some WIP pictures it does look like a complicated job: This WIP looks easierly fitted: Which is more likely to be the Autoloc style?
-
Oh I have another professional Commodore or Lieutenant if his low on men. Or I could lend my Admiral of the Fleet experiance!
-
Im not stupid, Ive done my reasearch way before I chose this car.
-
I hate Range Rovers, or specifically people with them. Range Rovers of old where to supposed to be farmers cars, holiday cars. Now there just "Bling Bling cars" or "Mums cars". Why?! You go London, I bet you, you will see at least one Range Rover with a woman driving to work in and you will see someone with a Porsche Cayenne who has a buisness suit on. If you are driving to work in a office, you don't need a big 4x4, just get a small car or a "Buisnessman" car e.g. Volkswagen Passat, Volvo c70, Lexus GS e.t.c.
-
Well Im not into spoilers, big rims, decals and racing stripes. I understand as you say I will regret putting them on, but the ignorant side of my brain is saying "Ignore them! Do what you want!" however I understand you guys have experiance. But I don't want to completely throw away the idea of getting suicide doors. I mean, planning stuff I wanna buy, like many other young people is a nice thing that keeps me busy and prepared but judging by all the hassle it sounds like its going to take I might as well give up all my ideas! I hate people who put Games consoles in their car, When will you use them?! But I just wanted the suicide doors because they looked classy, refined and snazzy! I want my car to look luxurious and well "buisnessman" like. With just plain beige leather, walnut burl dash kit, some tinted back windows e.t.c. No spoilers, body kits, nitrous. Although they seem like the cheap and easy things to do. No car but the Maybach and Rolls Royce Phantom has the suicide doors and well, there not cheap. It's not a impossible job though is it? I understand that buy the time I am twenty it will be 2014 and we will probably have to drive electric cars knowing the so called "Energy Crisis!!!" But I am never going to be seen driving a Toyota Prius... But I will always like the Chrysler because its so customisable. I said to my friend what do you class as luxury in a car and I said "Do you like smooth wood?" "No." "Why?" "Dunno, it looks old" "So what do you like then, eh? Carbon Fiber body plates" "Mabye, I like Metal, lights, gadgets." "That's not luxury!!" He calls me the James May Junior, I have hair like him too! Now I don't like too much wood, just polished "fake" wood, such as the Walnut Burl dash kit you can get: Also some beige interior to go with it and some nice lights, chrome and black exterior e.t.c. So what do you class as Luxury in a car?
-
Well remember I am only 15 so It will be a matter of years till I get a car, so I have a long time to learn DIY skills and get money. I don't understand how the door frame still looks the same once the door handles are taken out. So the latches wouldn't be too hard to remove yourself would it? I mean, I could get someone to do it but as you said its expensive, so I could have plan it out and then do it throughly? I mean, A Chrysler 300c in Autotrader can start from
-
I was looking at some customisations for cars and I saw the Chrysler 300c. Now I love the look of that car and if I were to get one, I would love to put Suicide Doors on it. Make it look like a Limo/VIP car, but not too "Blingy" with BIG rims and stuff, that would ruin it. But I had a thought...If "Autoloc" sell hinges and a "automatic remote door opening system" in some kits, how would you make the door handles in the right place without ruining the look of the door? And the latches connect? But how did they change the door handles from this?: To the Autoloc model they had: And I can't believe I used to want Lamborghini doors (scissor doors) on the Chrysler, look how stupid it looks: Now I know many of you will say "Don't get them, they are specifically named Suicide doors for a reason e.t.c." But I would want to know how. You never know, it might turn out well!
