  1. Firstly, all of you on Mac's, don't worry, there will be a tutorial on iMovie soon. Below are links to all the Windows Movie Maker tutorials, of which I have handpicked the ones you'll need to make a simple brickfilm. Windows Movie Maker is a great program for beginners, but if you plan to make a hobby out of making these little animations, I would strongly recommend investing in a better editing suite. So pay attention, because I have a challenge in store for you members that have been keeping up with all the tutorials. But more about that soon... Making an automovie Create video events Collections and how to sort them Adding titles and credits Adding transitions Adding music or audio Saving your brickfilm Ok, so now you have everything you need to create your own free brickfilm - minus the camera. Coming soon, a tutorial on iMovie. Also, the Eurobricks "finish it" challenge... I hope you can make good use of these tutorials.
  2. They all seem to have dissappeared from the tutorials index. EDIT: They are not in the index pinned in the Website and Forums forum, but they are in the index in KimT's sig.
  3. Now we just need LEGO to produce a soldier of the blue variety.
  4. Awesomely done mate! However my only criticism would be that from the side on view it looks a little longh for its height.Otherwise though, very well done.
  5. Hey, if you need any advice with this movie, don't hesitate to ask! Just post here and I'll get back to you. If you want to that is...
  6. I havn't seen the bottom one before, but a few pages back we saw the top one along with the soldier impulse.
  7. Sadly, it is only for members. However I do believe that you are a member right? So welcome aboard! (And yes if you joined after PTV started you are still a member. =)
  8. You can tell there is something going on there, but who am I to complain? That and CGH's ship are without doubt the coolest brick built hulled ships there are. How have you not got an expert MOCer tag yet?
  9. Yay! The brickshelf is moderated. And Capt. Kirk, we really need the title of your MOC ASAP.
  10. I actually like that look, because that's how the LEGO model teams build. With studs. I think it is sort of like cheating in a really tiny way to use tiles? Never mind. Good tower mate!
  11. But then we would need one for each language and us english only speakers would miss out etc. etc. etc. Too hard!
  12. I must say, that one would be pretty sweet. The thing is though, all of us who should have grown out of LEGO years ago must have strong egos to cop all the crap that gets thrown at us, so you would have to give everyone on the forum an ego tag.
  13. I like the whole earning thing, although I don't see why people make such a fuss. It's not as though you really get any benefits. Other than editing other's posts and being "in control". This is a forum, and the idea of a forum is to share your opinion with people of similar interests. And that you can do as a staff member, a fellow or a vassel.
  14. If I could choose to own any car in the world, it would have to be any sort of Astin Martin fitted out with all the gadgets so I could blow you guys to the moon and back!
  15. I thought with the exeption of the Metroliner, LEGO never produced alternate model instructions but just "suggested" models for you to come up with using your imagination. That was back in the days when LEGO was a toy, not a business.
  16. Hahahaha! Hinkley has no life! Please don't whack me.
  17. I was thinking today about how much time I spend on Eurobricks. And I realised that I spend waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time here with upwards of four hours a day, sometimes even five! So I thought we could make a little prizeless competition just to see who spends the most time here and who is the biggest Eurobricks geek. Come on...
  18. This might be a good topic for you to check out.
  19. I would say this is the case. But let us know ASAP mate, because this is frontpage quality! And we don't want to be frontpaging the incorrect name.
  20. I see how the Swedish could be an issue. t'll be interesting to see how Captain Zuloo learns Swedish for an appearance in a film, That's the sigfig BTW, not me. Oh well, I look foward to it.
  21. Great review! But it's the second time I read it. I saw this one in the town forum. But really nice review mate. Keep up the great work.
  22. Well you proabaly will get hooked. However, I would recommend reshooting the whole scene again at 15fps and moving the characters more slowly. I find it nothing short of annoying to watch a really jerky stop-motion film. So no, there is no software to slow down video that will do the job. But I'm glad you appreciate the tutorials!
  23. But that's really strange. A friend and I spent at least 3 hours on indervidual computers sludging through google (and Eurobricks) but we couldn't find anything of use. But thanks anyway for these links guys. They helped trumendously!
  24. Try clicking on options, then source then choose your camera from the dropdown menu. Be sure to plug in the camera before opening SMA. I'm glad my tutorials could be of use. But, if you wait a little while, there will be tutorials for editing and special effects. So work out the speed issue - see the walking at 15fps tutorial, and then we'll teach you how to make your movie really sing.
  25. A large watermelon rolling in their direction. "Ah they all cried" then just in the nick of time...
