You seem awfully "sorry" for being so opinionated.

Nice, now that's just fun! Love the wall and "tools".

The work of JonHall18 in LXF form
treeboy replied to vynsane's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Thanks vynsane for these they look great. -
I meant to post this earlier, but... TRU in Fair Oaks (Sacramento, CA) had the Millennium Falcon (7965) for 25% off or $112. I know there's talk about TRU sales in BricktoberFest thread but I thought it best put here.

Sweet rig! I hear you about the comments. When I post something and don't get comments I figure it's because people think it's lame and don't want to hurt my feelings.

Looks good though I'm wondering about the horizontal stabilizer?

What Saint said. How about a little more info?

I just saw an ad for the Sun Sentinel? talking about free HP Lego. Watching Am. football on the web apparently from Europe. -
I picked up 10220 the VW Camper Van and am getting ready to build it

Alrighty then. Got the order today though I think it's been at my PO Box for a while. The package arrived at SFO (San Francisco Int Airport) on the 30th of September, the day our new son was born. So naturally I've been a little busy. However, I made it to the PO today and the package containing the three Oxford sets were there all looking as they should.

Nicely done! Did you reinstall 4.1.7 or do something else? -
Great review thanks. I purchased this set on Saturday the 1st of Oct and haven't built it yet but I'm very excited to do so. Thanks again.

Thanks for the comments and nice bbqqq. I used those forks too but didn't like the wheel alignment. I checked the treads in LDD version 4.1.0, I think and fully expected them to not be legal but alas they showed up after closing the program and restarting even after a system restart. I think to run a concurrent versions one could sandbox one version perhaps install different versions on different user accounts. I'm gonna try some different approaches I'll post something if i come across anything. Thanks again. -
Update: I got an email from Gmarket saying the order has shipped and the actual shipping cost is $42.25 add to that the local delivery fee of $2.18 and you get $44.43. Now we wait and see how long EMS takes.

I think that is because you have the update installed which do not have the chains as I recall. They were one of the items removed. I haven't installed the update just because of those chains. Thanks for the comments! -
Nice review and set and congratulations on 100 posts I feel a kindred spirit. How much was the set not on-sale? I like the parts selection I actually said "ooooohhh" when I saw the parts picture.

I also wanted to commend you on all the clippy holdy things you used, like the front and rear bumpers, windscreen and seat backs.

Nice MOC! So do you turn in the lxf or pictures or are you going to brick build it? Also, you should include the lxf in the post so we can check it out. Good job, thanks.

Alright, with kind permission from Ralph_S I have reproduced, as much as I was able, Eurobricks own Ralph_S' Kettenkraftrad in LDD. Kettenkraftrad.lxf I thought this model was so cool I had to try it. There is a difference with the handlebars, front suspension and wheel. I had a different handlebar assembly that was very similar to Ralph_S' but I couldn't get a light on it so I went with what you see. Also the wheel that he uses seems to be the 3464 Hub and 87414 tyre which I couldn't get to align with the forks. None the less, I thought the wheel looked pretty good. You'll also notice that I wasn't able to make the track connect completely due to an apparent conflict though in real life it apparently works. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. You can see some more of Ralph_S' work on flicker including the semi-deconstructed view which was so much help. Please feel free to comment and give constructive criticism especially with respect to the front end.

Good call. I didn't even notice it was ldr until you mentioned it . I like the ldr index idea I have a couple I think could be added should one develop.
-
That looks real good. I would love to see the lxf.

Ordered OM3302, OM3303, and OM3304 from the link in my previous post. As it stands now the cost of the sets is $73.56 and shipping is $50.52 for a grand total of $124.08 to California. The estimated weight was 2.21kg for each item I believe. Let's wait and see.
-
Right on thanks for the info> Let's give it a go. SO I'm looking through the selection and I come across this. The way I see it is one would get all five of these for $15.20 + shipping. Am I missing something? Sorry to be a pain but if it seems too good to be true then... Never mind figured it out, sort of. They have these items and you select the ones you want, duh.
