  1. I am not sure if this whole topic is really an issue... maybe I should understand as a Collector and also as a big fan of the old technic sets but still
  2. add a small stand with display and add Boba Fett from old Cloud City and then it will cost more than his big brother
  3. Presales only - reminds me feeling like a child hoping christmas would come earlier this year
  4. A nice translation of this old idea, executed with some patience I guess (12800 pieces). Other ideas coming to my mind are Darth Vader with and without helmet or Darth Vader and Anakin but these are other projects... This will be a nice effect when looking at it in real. Without that chance I am wondering if a normal mosaic would be more preferable for me.
  5. My dear thread, we will never forget you. You have been growing to our heart over the last year and we will remember you fondly.
  6. Two more posts and you can pm Cavegod directly
  7. sorry to hear that for your Lego projects - at least you still can build digitally....but watch out the Mariana Trench - don't dive too deep :)
  8. Luckily I have still the old harbor sets 6540, 6541, 6542 and 2* 6543. Together with extra platform pieces and realated sets a nice setup. But this set is certainly for nowadays a nice setup, too. About floating ships - I had the old floating ones from the 70s - I need once to put a ballon inside the hull trying to make it float
  9. that was easy - BrickLink Reference Catalog - which Contain Part 30619 in White Color -you have to recognize it as a cockpit Jack Stone was the end of the City-Sets in the 90s noz being <insert that tiresome argument>
  10. On BL I searched the catalog BrickLink Reference Catalog Search for a slope, decorated in blue and there was already the desired slope: Slope 18 4 x 2 with SW Imperial Logo Pattern (Sticker) - Set 7667. Anyway Iwas immediately thinking of this set but didn't know anymore the number (getting old). And of course, the others are right, first you should look for special parts where it helps if you know what is special. E.g. a plate 1*4 is not special and giving 1826 results for color black or 6050 sets altogether - this isn't narrowing down the results...
  11. 7667 Imperial Dropship : Set 7667-1 | BrickLink
  12. that's a very nice addition to every Mos Eisley scenery or to the Cantina
  13. Okay, now I got your approach. You want to have the minfigs sorted after the appearance in the movie, and not by production date by Lego? How would I do it? Copy/past all Episode 4-6 minifigs sorted by name three times and to use minifigs.nl to identify the minifigs associated to the three different films. Delete each fig on the other two episodes so you will have a good overview which fig is from which film. And the better you know the figures the faster you can identify them. In parallel sort the minifigs by date which will show you the set in which they appear, e.g Death star or Jabba sets. Actually these are the ones easy to identify. I would also advise to write down the timestamps of each scene with figs. After the first check there will be some minifgs left and you will have to identify them in a second review, especially as there are some minifgs produced a few times and accompanied by other differen tfigures. Anyway, it will be quite tedious and I am not sure about the added value. Otherwise it is a nice approach and I can fully understand such tasks.
  14. Heieiei. You can sort the figures after date (or number) on BL and you can separate them with the help of the data on minifigs.nl. Ponit is that this is the only website I know which is differentiating the minifgures of the classic episodes. A few years ago I also created an excel for that but this will also not fulfill your needs
  15. Check out the help page. Each character is only once shown for the film but in the details picture there is a sign in the top line where you can switch to all other versions and variants of the character. And I agree, it would be nice if you could expand all versions and variants at once for each category.
  16. what about this: MiniFigs.nl - Variant Finder Checkout the sitemap - the site itself does not a full blown up site tree but you can find everything interesting
  17. Please check out minifigs.nl
  18. this was another model built from one or more copies from 801 and was depicted on page 19 of the instructions, but the picture. You can find the instructions on https://www.brickfactory.info/set/
  19. A "The Mandalorian & Grogu" movie and a 2nd season of Ahsoka was now announced on starwars.com
  20. Hi, you can upload private inventories on rebrickable and there you can also make a comparison between MOCs/private Inventories to other MOCs or sets. This will give you a list of the extra parts you need aside of 75192.
  21. according to stonewars it is a "photoshopped improvement" of a lifestyle picture in the media kit so they will be definitely dbg https://www.stonewars.de/news/dunkelbraune-mixel-gelenke-neue-farbe-oder-enttaeuschender-photoshop-fail/
  22. in Germany the magazine also uses sometimes tape - don't know on what it is depending (probably still not interesting to most of you)
  23. that's a kind of aqua-tick...I like it and the cockpit looks even more like a ball than some official tie versions...and divers are one of the best themes (imo)
  24. one of the best smooth tie balls I have seen
  25. correct, according to newelementary it is trans bright green https://www.newelementary.com/2023/05/lego-parts-review-71799-ninjago-city.html and yes, I can see trans neon green disappearing slowly too, according to the numbers of pieces in that color getting less and less and being replaced by trans bright green
