Exterior is complete. The interior is almost done. All I need is to have more one by bricks to finish it.
-
What I did was that I built the flooring of the ship two bricks high. It was mostly technic pieces with pins to go horizontally and vertically from the bottom plate. I put supports below the bottom plate i.e. books, lego pieces, etc. I put about a hundred pins on it (flooring). In terms of support for the whole backside I used technic pieces to go across the gap, the rest you can see below. Ask any more questions, I am making a sequence of "how to" picture sequence right now. The technic structure from before is still intact too.

Rough draft of the ship is complete. https://www.flickr.com/photos/152598045@N05/shares/69QL0t It is structurally stable and is able to be lifted up. The exterior is able to be put on too.

Just started to redo the skeleton of the ship in the back so I could make the ship look like itself completely. here it is.

Maybe get a longer technic piece? Anyhow, I have finished the quarters of the Millennium Falcon and am making the Cloud City landing playform for it. Here it is (includes full view of interior of ship) https://www.flickr.com/photos/152598045@N05/shares/igpM7K

New update on Millennium Falcon, all hallway floors are smooth now.
-
yeah probably the same for me, I have a lot of technic pieces so maybe cloud city would be another option.
-
I am looking at the empty spaces on the back and front left side of the Millennium Falcon, and have decided to MOD those things out, remove technic pieces from those sides and middle and put some technic support for the flooring.
-
And for showing it, I am not so sure. I have four options, docking bay 327, Hoth base, or Tatooine, or Nebulon docking (probably not). Probably first three, it just depends on the pieces I have.

Yes, I know but I also used Tested Millennium Falcons expo video plus this one. And yes not exact, but it will someday. I have only modded two panels, the bottom left quadrant of the ship where the number three hold is. The hyperdrive room is way too small, but the technic pieces are stopping it from being long. I am going to modify the technic pieces which are stopping the ship to look like its actual self, sometime this week (I hope).

Yeah of course, here are the photos https://www.flickr.com/photos/152598045@N05/shares/NtS91G and here is the layout plan for the ship

FInished hallway to cockpit and to gunners station. The life support systems room is done too. Just started building the loading room. Here are the pictures. https://www.flickr.com/photos/152598045@N05/shares/C3de2 hope you enjoy.

huh that is interesting, the sleeping quarters in the cross section books it is in the upper left side of the Millennium Falcon, where did you get your schematics from?
-
I think your original thought was true on that they put it in the wrong place. Remember the sleeping quarters are behind the main hold, and this one is to the left of the entrance. You can see that because of the angle of the slope of the "roof" of the ship. The sleeping quarters are in front and to the left of hyperdrive room looking at the ship from behind.

Started to make hallway to cockpit from main hold. Movable cockpit has been intact. https://flickr.com/photos/152598045@N05/sets/72157662814930917 More MOD’s soon.

oh yeah, one more thing use ldd to see what you can do with the pieces you already have.

Nice mod to the mid size Millennium Falcon, I enjoy the MODs you did to the ship. I especially like the bottom part of the ship. Now for advice, if you want to build a ship more similar to the UCS--I would make a technic structure which needs to be strong. Originally I tried to build my own MOC version of the UCS version to look like Marshall Bananas version. All you need to do now is go get 80 to a 100 more pieces to make it look like this. I would go to nearest lego store (not toy r us) but only lego and get some pieces to finish it. Hope the video helps.

The end of the weekend is near, and so far everything hopefully will sound very clear. And now here is my finshed hallways with an entrance with some elevated slopes which then transfers into the entrance with the entrance to the gunners cockpit.
-
Right now I am attempting to make the hallway go all the way to the cockpit, and recently just started to make the ramp up go to shooters cockpit and the hall. Again work in progress.
