I don't agree. Barely any arm printing and barely any leg printing, basic details on the torso. Here, we have detailed prints pretty much everywhere, a few new molds, some sort of action posing thing adding to the piece count and what seems like a lot more duel molding.

I'll accept your criticism of the head (and maybe the arms), and nothing else. For the variant they were going for, they really almost nailed it.

I wouldn't hold your breath. We've already had a lot of new molds in this series. I'd be much more optimistic about someone like Deathstoke, who won't need new molds. Maybe in a possible series 2 Fate could appear? I certainly hope we get a series 2, there are many DC characters that definitely deserve the level of quality here, and many others I could never see appearing in a set (such as the Crime Syndicate). Even regular old Batman has never had his spiky gauntlet things.

Kind of annoyed that they reused Aquaman's head in the CMF. They should've gone with a more serious look for the edgy Aquaman.

At first I thought "no way will they do Joker, he's far to similar to the modern version", but then I remembered how much creepier he was, with his sunken eyes and warped features. If Lego adapts that, we could have a really great variant. I'd hope that they would do Zod/Venkman/the 12th Doctor's hair in green too, just to give the figure a little something special to make it stand out more.

Yeah, you're right. It's a more common occurrence than I thought at the time, but it would still be unexpected to have (him? her? it?) appear so it would definitely fit the "not in the way that you'd think" criteria. When they say "inspired a character" I would expect a figure, not a pet, and when thinking of a character, I probably never would've thought of the fairly insignificant but recognisable Silky (unless it was made clear that it was an unexpected character, of course).

Falconfan says TTG inspired a character in the CMF, but not in the way that you'd think. I'm thinking Starfire with the bug creature as an accessory, as the bug creature is a character and a character isn't often included as a thing on the side with another character.

When the Hawkeye figure inevitably fails to have printed legs, at least we can use Huntress's legs from the DC CMF on him.

Nothing too special there. They're decent, but nothing to get excited about. Also, it looks like Batman has the same head that he's had in the sets from this year, which is disappointing. You know, you're completely right lol

Man, classic Batman would be a nice figure to have. They could even reuse the Wolverine headgear mold for the mask. A female court of owls member would also be a good figure to get, since I don't see them being included in a set at all, and a fancy dress would be more interesting than another black suit. Unfortunately I can't really see lego making Swamp Thing, since the recent series was pretty adult orientated. With all of the plant life and vines covering every inch of his body though, a cmf would be the perfect place to give him the necessary amount of detail.

Apparently I'm a bigger DC nerd than I realised, because none of these characters are obscure to me. The ones in TLBM CMF series 2 were way more obscure. All of these characters have been in (fairly) recent comics and shows; Stargirl in Stargirl and Legends of Tomorrow, Metamorpho in YJ: Outsiders (don't think he spoke though), Simon Baz in a lot of Green Lantern comic stuff and Sinestro in what is arguably his more iconic suit. These characters (minus Simon Baz, obviously) have also appeared in older TV shows such as Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Full disclaimer, I haven't watched more than a few Justice League Action episodes, so for all I know they could make appearances in that too.

I fully believe they're going to do Yelena instead of Red Guardian. They can reuse Infinity War Black Widow's torso for her (she appears to be wearing the same vest), all they'd really need to make is a new face print, if that. Similarly, black suit Black Widow would be the obvious choice, since they'd only need to make a new torso to go with the Black "tactical" legs they've used several times before, instead of a whole new head and torso. I feel like Taskmaster will be done in a similar manner to Ghost; no leg printing, but a new torso and a new, reversible head with a mask on one side and face on the other. Also, a printed shield. If they really do include Red Guardian, a side character and a figure that would require at the very least 3 new prints (face, shield, torso), I'll be very surprised.

The show appears to be some kind of "Falcon going on an adventure resulting in him proving to himself that he's worthy" type thing, so I expect he'll only put on the Cap costume at the very end. It makes sense for Lego to include the outfit that's looking to be exclusive to the show and worn for the longest time in it. Maybe they'll be lazy though, like with Captain Marvel, and include the final costume in the set instead of the one they wore for most of the series.

I think it will just be regular falcon in a more comic accurate costume, judging from the poster. I would. They rarely do a second wave unless there's a spoiler in the set.

Yeah, not surprised by Disney and Sony falling out. One of the greediest corporations on earth teaming up with one of the dumbest was never going to end well. Could result in a drop off in the amount of Spider-Man sets, don't promote your competition and all that. Although, I think Disney own the animated shows, so maybe not?

Judging by other Ninjago head leaks, which all have more colourful designs and incorporate pixel-y geometric-y shapes, I am 99% convinced that the disputed head is supposed to be comic book Black Panther.

Bit late, but the reverse of Mysterio's torso alongside Hydro-Man's head and Lenny's helmet looks a bit like Kang, especially from the early days when he had a more pink than purple colour scheme.

I believe the head with the white eyes is a reference to Magneto's appearance in a video game or something? Could someone fact check me?

1414Falconfan: "I don't think bike is the best name for the avengers set coming." I'm guessing that means the bike is a minor sidebuild, like with the Batcave and the Quinjet. The set has 226 pieces, the main build can't be that big.
