  1. I hope we get something like 60095 but with perhaps a larger submarine and ship, replacing the shipwreck and sea creatures with a Mosasaurus for the Mosasaurus exclusive. I feel like that's the most likely version of that set.
  2. So, if there's a Mosasaurus set and the submarine isn't big enough for a full 100+ set, wouldn't it make sense to include the Dino transport boat that the Team goes to the island on? That could make for a decent set.
  3. If Baryonyx uses moulds that can be reused for Spinosaurus it would be a less than ideal Baryonyx
  4. It's on the lego reddit.
  5. If we get Baryonyx I'm kind of hopeful it'll use the Indoraptor body mould. The proportions aren't perfect and it'd need a new tail piece, new legs, new head, and probably new arms (I don't know if you could use the carno/stygi arms), but I think it could work.
  6. With the exception of the Lockwood Manor set, none of the sets really show anything that wasn't in the trailers.
  7. Does the Indoraptor remind anyone else of the Dino Attack Mutant Raptor?
  8. I like the Stygimoloch a lot, but the Indoraptor is a little irritating, because lego was willing to make a medium size carnivore mould but kept with Tyrannosaur sized moulds for Carnotaurus.
  9. It is a Juniors set...
  10. The funny thing is that they're too big and too functional for Carnotaurus. This thing's arms were pretty much worthless.
  11. I'd wager the Juniors rex set will be somewhere in the 40 to 50 dollar range, but I'm never right about these things
  12. The way it was sketched was by downsizing the existing mould. If you wanted to make a real version of those you'd want a unique design for the mould. And the reason you'd want them smaller is so that they could fit into cheaper sets. You could fit them into something like 5885 instead of something like 5886 or 75918
  13. Well, now I don't have to draw my own crude mock-up of a lego medium sized theropod line. Yeah, it's pretty hard to argue that this isn't a little lazy and not terribly forwards thinking on Lego's part. Hey, since you seem to have seen the prelims, does the Indoraptor re-use any existing moulds, or is it all new pieces?
  14. So apparently this is a sketch of what the Carnotaurus is going to look like. Not really film or paleontologically accurate, and definitely too big, but not nearly as bad as the description made me fear. Would definitely have preferred a unique set of moulds instead of mostly re-used Indominus parts, but this is fine.
  15. This is the description. Yes, his language is fanboyish, but it still paints a mediocre picture for the design. I was personally hoping for a full on new set of moulds for Carnotaurus so the re-use is already disappointing, but this thing might not look very good either.
  16. Carnotaurus gets a half-assed new head mould and re-uses the Indominus body. I can't say I'm surprised, but that is disappointing. Apparently Stygimoloch is good though, which is something at least.
  17. With Lowery it's almost a certainty. The thing I'm most interested in seeing is if Carnotaurus gets a new body mould. Indoraptor definitely sounds like it is, but Carnotaurus may end up re-using the Rex mould.
  18. Is the Carnotaurus using the Rex body mould? I cannot see that looking good.
  19. I think this is the first Dinosaur lego theme since... I think ever, to not have a Tyrannosaurus in it.
  20. Alright, this is interesting. The big set being the mansion makes sense. So according to this we're getting Blue, Indoraptor, Carnotaurus, Stygimoloch, Two Pteranodons, two Raptors and something that could be a Compy/Stuffed Animal. Is this right? Because that is a disturbing lack of Tyrannosaurus, but that being said, it's also completely in line with the leak. Carnotaurus could easily be misidentified as a Tyrannosaurus and vice versa, plus the described rex set was a Truck with a Gyrosphere, which does line up with this. A Helicopter set with a raptor was in the leak, a Raptor Escape type set was in the leak, and a Pteranodon with an off road vehicle was in the leak. The largest set was not described by the leak. This matches up with the leak pretty well, actually.
  21. We had set names and dinosaur images by about this point for the first Jurassic World wave. Figure it can't be long now until something shows up, as it stands this line's managed to stay pretty well under wraps.
  22. As much as I would adore a $500 Visitors Center, yeah, it's probably Hogwarts
  23. Just the precedent the rest of the thread has set. We can start calling it the Indoraptor though, I really don't think anyone cares. The thing is, it's not really the coolest creature. It's a slightly more monstrous looking Raptor. We've actually got a pretty good idea of what it looks like, from the mattel toys and some trailer shots, and it's a black raptor with a lateral stripe along it's body and spikes on it's neck and hip, and a jaw similar to the Indominus. Would that get the flagship set over something like Tyrannosaurus, or Mosasaurus?
  24. Certainly possible, especially if the leak is a falsehood. If the leak is true, the Spoilersaurus is probably the 75927 Raptorlike. That doesn't necessarily preclude it from appearing in 75930, but I don't think that's going to happen, mostly 'cause Spoilersaurus being exclusive to 75927 makes it a set worth getting.
