I meant it to be more of a joke, but I was still a bit frustrated. Though Before I say anything more, I'll see what happens before the quest is over.

JimB, that's not fair! You don't even give us a chance to catch up to them? The quest was good, but the end just kinda ruined it. So we can't get our award, and it wasn't our decision... BTW, how does one man command a ship?

Alf accepts the sword and straps it to his back-pack. Alf gets some wood laying around and whittles a amulet end, and carves Sylvania into it. He finds some of his rope and ties it on the end of the amulet. He then gets up and hands it to Ellaria. "It brings good luck."

Just what I was thinking K-nut would say.

Alf sees concern grow over Alexis and Ellaria. He rushes over to the situation. "What wrong? Anything Alf can do? You don't have good look to you. Ellaria ok?" Alf removes his torn cloak and raps it around Ellaria. Alf sees that nobody currently wants the sword, so he perks up. "Alf could probably use sword. Nice sword too."

Then it's either long, or blond. I'd hope blond, but the hair on your character is black. I can't imagine Atramor having long hair...

I'd probably do something like the grid. One of the points in this quest is to loosen their mind, and know what to do if something goes wrong. Just because you make a mistake doesn't mean you'll fail the quest. Also, if it's a group quest, each part of the day would be as long as the group wanted it to be in real time, unless they ran out of energy. I may just make it so that the heroes can't go around carrying a bunch of wood for building. I'd allow them to carry more stuff though if they were to build something to carry it in perhaps? Perhaps the energy could just be there, but not a statistical value. For instance I'd warn the players if they were very tired or if they had lots of energy. I suppose I could do this with weight and energy, but I think I'm gonna stick with time and thirst. I guess I'll see what Sandy and other members have to say about this option...

OoC: Some of our stats aren't right. I should have full health because of my class ability.

Thanks for the feed-back! Although those who replied mostly wanted a individual quest, I believe sandy doesn't think it is a good idea. Some of the biggest problems are battles and people not being able to be active. From conversation with Sandy:

Sandy and I have been discussing a quest that I may host. There are some problems and I'd like to see what I could do to make it better and more enjoyable. The quest is about a tournament, an arena. This quest will be similar to Zepher's Quest #7: The Arena, but more complex. This is a quest where you really have to think outside the box. For example, you will need to start a fire to keep warm at night. Your Items will be taken away at the beginning of the quest There are two main ideas: Group quest - The heroes work together against another group (NPCs) Individual quest - The heroes work separately and try to win for themselves. (Every man for himself) There are many less problems with the Individual quest, and a few with the group quest. I'll probably choose group quest, and it will hopefully be more fun. I'll post more information, but I don't want to give out too much information. I'll say this now and probably many other times: This is a quest where you really have to think. I'm not going to say you need this, this, and this to build a shelter. You need to come up with an Idea. There are other factors also. You need energy to survive, and food and water.I just want to see if anyone has any suggestions or questions.
