    Moving back to this discussion for a second, it's worth noting that the guy who initially leaked the official images of the Infinity War sets also believes it exists, but will be revealed at a later date. We'll just have to wait it out for now.

    Do we know when the set is planned to be released? I imagine the set contains some plot spoilers which is why it hasn't been revealed yet so I assume it will be after the movies release.

    Why would they skip a summer wave and do another winter wave. The theme would have to be cancelled and then brought back for that to happen.

    My Impressions: A little underwhelming but the more I look at it the more I see how it matches with Ninjago City. While $300 isn't confirmed as the price it's not what I hoping for, although this would be justified at that price based on piece count. (Not every set can pull a Ninjago City ppr) All the minifigures are blocked and this uses the Ninjago City box design, confirming a placeholder image but making it more likely to be toward the early prelim stage. I fully expect to like this set much more after seeing official images, the lighting in the picture we have isn't great and I expect the colors to mesh much better and a better looking design. Why bother with the hanger if you can't fit any of the mechs in it?

    But they're showing Ninjago City Docks, does that mean it will release in between typical Ninjago release seasons, possibly May?

    Glad to see the Destiny Bounty design is being carried over. We should probably steer away from tv show discussion since this topic isn't supposed to be for that and there is a thread for the show.

    I think that is Kai (In the cage), however the image of the golden dragon master on the box suggests someone other than a ninja. The figure seems to have black eyes (which eliminates Lloyd) and grey eyebrows, possibly Sensei Wu or maybe a new character?

    2 vehicles for Kai, he's in 3/6 sets, definitely seems like he will be the focused ninja of this wave.

    I think it would be more likely they would go with Green and gold sicne in Season 8 each member of the "royal family" wears green and gold.

    Yeah that looks like it, guess this is what happens when you pass on all of wave 2.

    As have I, it uses the year 1 armour piece in gunmetal. Not sure if that's new or not.

    There has been a theory going around that Kai may be golden dragon master (With actual evidence to support it) so the idea of him getting the most sets would make sense.

    Rumor is sometime in January. Also if we were to get that rumored SoG Minifig series, I'd expect Harumi's family to show up there.
