Great review. I like the comparison shot with Plo Koons JSF. Saesee's looks sleeker. Someone should do comparison shots of all the JSFs together. The rear view seen on Hoth Bricks does reveal the ship as bulky. This and the price may make this a hard sell.

With the recent SW TC-14 promo I ordered a few CM7s and two of those were Galaxy Patrol which I was eager to check out. The color is great but for some reason the figure just isn't as awesome as I thought it would be. I still want a few for future MOCs but don't need an army.

What an awesome MOC!!!! Not sure what Ghostbusters is gonna do about the aliens but who knows maybe it would help if they crossed the beams. I also see that the new heavy lift helo for city forest rangers has been changed up a bit to carry a component of ADU Troops. Just noticed the ADU heavy canon in tow, looks fantastic!

I completely agree. The colors, playability, amount of what you get for the money. I'm glad I picked up a second copy on a bogo sale. I was gonna try to build a heavy lift helo to either incorporate the EDHQ or carry it. Hasn't happened yet. Thinking about LEGO Space a bit more, they have always had space and will have it in some form or fashion again. Lets keep some optimism that AC will get a second wave in the future.

I get a discount at Target so I'm really waiting til they show up there. Bit the bullet today though and picked up two at TRU. They had two boxes out that looked well searched. I started to feel the bags and the first one was one I want (I want them all ) the Daredevil and the second one I thought was galaxy patrol and I was on my way. What I thought was galaxy patrol was really the Knight. They are both great but be careful with the knight's armor and don't rush feeling the bags. I was hurried since I was late to pick up my girlfriend.

This is why I wait on most sets. There are a few here and there that I feel I have to have sooner but in general I wait. I know I want to order the Y-wing but not sure what to put with it to get right at the 75 mark.

I'm glad it was bumped. I wouldn't have seen the review had it not been bumped. What a great set and quite the contrast to today's Dino theme and bright colors.

Saw the red box at TRU near Alhambra. Waiting for them to arrive at Target. Seems Target gets Lego long after TRU. The ones I've stopped at in SoCal don't even have the new wave for superheros.

Well Done! This could be an actual set it is so good. LEGO are you paying attention? We want another wave of AC. Shame it was dropped after only one go. Hopefully it is just on hiatus.

After seeing the great reviews here on EB and wanting a copy of the Millennium Falcon because I was in my dark ages when the previous sets were released, I knew I had to have one. Finally scored one on Ebay. The first time I thumbed through the manual I saw a few places I wanted to modify. Then seeing some great changes on youtube my goals were expanded and reinforced. What I saw first was the lack of cargo storage/playability in the storage area. I moved a few things and now have more room in the Falcon. Secondly I wanted to make the landing gear taller, look better, and be able to retract. Third I wanted my boarding ramp to meet the surface with the new gear. Now my gear does retract but the model is not as sturdy as the original. I like mine better for swooshing. I can stand a figure up under the ship but not with much headroom. Of course having a better supply of bricks would give more options but I did what I could with what I have on hand. Sorry the pics aren't my usual quality. Enjoy. Cargo Area: Landing Gear/Boarding Ramp: This first picture shows one side in my early stage of working out the issues of the gear retraction. One side is done and the other isn't yet modded. Also you can see which parts are removed down on the lower right corner of the photo. Removing the 2x4 blocks does weaken parts of the floor of the ship. Ugh, now that I'm ready to pull the trigger on this set I can't find it in any Target. My gf gets a discount so I'm just waiting til it shows up again. Til then will just keep enjoying this review.

I'm thinking yes it would get you close. 7965 Does build upon a technique frame too just not as intricate as 10179. You would have to buy more pieces online to get it perfect but it is a good idea.
