  10. I split the topic from the other thread. Please continue the discussion here.
  11. Thanks, TLOR FETT. I grant you sculpting isn't that hard (well depends on how detailed what you want to make is, of course); you just need to get started and practice. I sugest you to starting with a lump of clay and 'play' with it for a while before trying making a 'final' form. Adding details is the most difficult part, if made before curing the clay, because the pressure you apply to make the detail stick to the model might (well, it does quite often, in reality ) deform something and you may have to correct/restart everyting. Thank you Legocrazy81. I see what you mean, but I chose to leave the edges rough, especially in the armour, since the Predators are quite a rough race themsleves, and I wanted to convey that feeling to some extent. I may try to get more crisp lines for the helmet, as it's their main feature, and the design is very detailed in the films.
  12. Please do not start mini-modding now. I gave a rapid answer in hope the derailment would stop there, not to start a whole new conversation on a topic almost completely different from opening post. So, please, let's get back on track.
  13. Very funny concept, and huge collection of gorillas (I have but one). Thanks for sharing, brickarmy. P.S. - Could you please reduce the first pic's size to 800 pixels maximum, as per our Member Guidelines? Thank you.

  15. I see this issue is in good hands with TLOR FETT. I'd just like to remind one thing to corsasri: please write with proper capitalisation, as required in our Member Guidelines. Thank you.
  16. I believe he ment the old loved Minifig Packs, like this one.
  17. I made these figs last summer, but for some reason I never decided to photograph and share them. These are my frist tries with sculpting clays (I use Cernit), so forgive my lack of ability. I started with some Predator masks/heads because I always loved Bobskink's version, and I wanted to see where I could get with my own design. This was the first version: Seeing the overall design wasn't totally horrible, I tried to add some details, like the laser sight, and I ended up with this guy: Not really there yet... The next stage was to complete the mask with some prominent parts for the 'cheekbones' and wiring; while I was at that, I also added some torso armour: This is it for now; I may improve the design after I get some feedback, and when I find more free time for it. Some more views in this Brickshelf gallery (once public).
  18. Maybe a walrus gnome?
  19. - Cars reviewing spree gnome [ A little change to my previous one, since it has been dicovered I work with the little Gnomes that clean the Forums while nobody's looking. ] I don't know who's behind it, since I turned off the 'last visitors' option on my profile.

  22. I want to tahnk again all those who spend time and effort in fulfilling the requests in this thread. You guys make this place the great community it is! On the other hand, I also feel the need to remind all of our members that this is an AFOLs-oriented community. Maturity is required of all of us. Thus, I ask all our members posting in the Minifig Customisation Workshop, and this thread in particular, to check their grammar, spelling, capitalisation and punctuation before posting, as required by our Member Guidelines, which all of us subscribed to upon singing up. Thanks for your understanding.
