We already know that soccerkid6 and Littlejohn are fantastic builders, but when the brothers are combining their building skills it gets even better. Like this amazing layout they've created for Brickfair VA. And although I did not see it in person, just by looking at the pictures I'm pretty sure the win for best Castle/Knights creation is more than justified! Make sure to check out all the wonderful details in the Guilds subforum!

The Hobbit and Lotr sets are out of production for a while now, but Tolkien's work is still there to give plenty of inspiration to builders out there. Like these mocs made by Graham Gidmanand Legonardo!

(Note. I build this for Brickworld 2016. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make more and better photo's. I finished it just before the event and although it arrived there quite well, the journey back destroyed most of it. So I used Hinckley's photo's instead.) When Ondylion was destroyed, the house of Chorian needed a new place to stay. While Elon lives in Valholl at the moment to lead the people his family disliked the large city and preferred a different place. So Ekron, Elon's father invited the family to stay with him permanently at the Summer Palace, Noriach. When he passed leadership of the Chorian house to Elon he left Ondylion to spend his last years there. And why wouldn't he?! It's wonderfully located along water en surrounded by lush forests with lots of game. Some Brickworld photo's: Poor overviews before taking it apart for Brickworld:

Using a lot of colors can be quite difficult. But Gabe seems to manage this perfectly, this Villa is probably one where a lot of Guildies would like to spent some time! Enjoying the sun, drinking wine... Presentation makes a moc often stand out, like this one made by Brickcurve. How he managed to make the sky is very clever, not to forget the amazing tree and micro ship! Soccerkid6 and LittleJohn, are working on a fantastic collab filled with fun details. Than here's your chance to learn more from a member who's been around the Guilds from the start. Thanks Kayne for your time to answer some questions! We hope to see more members being interviewed in the near future! While Gabe was sitting and hiding in the shadows, he was working on something new. And this one shows again, take your time for a build! No need for a rush to get something done in the Guilds! Bregir has made a wonderful city square filled with great details. There's different styles of architecture, a brick build palmtree, different fountains and more to feast your eyes upon!

I was the one in contact with Bricks. And those sloppy mistakes surprised me too. And could have been easily avoided if they would have send me the article before publishing it. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, but besides that I think it was some attention the Guilds really deserved. Because you all made it such an awesome project which deserved the recognition! And indeed nice job on the interview, both SK and Kayne! I bet SK will be contacting more of you soon

Why did you even sign-up here? From the looks of it just to promote this on Ideas... Which is not allowed if you have read the site's guidelines. That's why I've removed most of the Ideas promotion. Feel free to post mocs and a link to the Lego Ideas topic. But here on EB the focus has to be on the moc. And if it's good enough to become a set, people will vote for it without asking for it.

Blufiji has made some great stuff before, but this fortress is one of his best for sure. Different tower designs, angled roofs, fantastic surroundings. It's just so complete! Gunman is back in action again and this is just phase 1! Do you like new tree techniques, than you have to check this one out made by mechamike!
