Tumblehome effect in brick built hulls
ZeekyBoogeyDoog replied to ZeekyBoogeyDoog's topic in LEGO Pirates
Thanks for the link Cap'n Green hair, I've been looking at the models, they're pretty useful pictures. I bet with recoil and horror ;-) -
Lovely stern! You ships always have the most realistically shaped sterns I've seen in Lego ships. I also am amazed how well you do the riggings on your ships. Great job *y* !

The castle is much better looking now. You did an awesome job with this *y* *y* !

Hinckley, may your camels always walk straight and true and your chewing gum never lose its flavour ;-) Thanks for this review!! This was a very fun review to look at, and I saw some things I couldn't have from the images online, like the mine cars' construction, the bucket/chute doohickey, your hand, etc.

Damn, one sure can miss a lot in a few days around here ;-) Immeasurable thanks Legomilk! I'm really happy Lego is making more civilian sets like post carriers and cargo vehicles.

Crud, even parrots are becoming zombies now-a-days..why won't stuff stay dead? ;-)

I was wondering about the darkness in your eyes... I really enjoyed reading stories...especially when they have a lot of funny pictures ;-) Is this a reference to Heart of Darkness?

My LEGOREDO Expansion Project continues...
ZeekyBoogeyDoog replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It so much more fleshed out and like a real building now. The stickers really add to the feel of the saloon, I especially like the sign in front, and the one over the door. The chorus lady looks extremeley dangerous ;-) -
Ah, the anatomy lesson, one of my favorite paintings. I want to try using that technique for collars some time. My favorites out of Morgan's figs are Da Vinci, Henry VIII and Anne, Jack the Ripper Abe Lincoln, Joan of Arc and Charaka.

The Wild, Wild West Contest Poll
ZeekyBoogeyDoog replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks to everyone who voted for me :-$ ! I voted for UB's cowboy vig and Tiny Pies r Us' Indian vig. Very well executed vigs *y* -
My Lego Workshop Vignette: Sir Nadroj's REAL Lego Workshop
ZeekyBoogeyDoog replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Town
Wow, I wish I had your room ;-) All of my Lego are unsorted. It takes me ages sometimes to find parts. Youu did a great job rendering the storage containers in the vig, my favorite aspect is the chair, it's really clever. -
Very very awesome *y* . The toilet is actually my favorite part of this, its not something commonly seen in pirate mocs. Also high-class women complete with parasols-not commonly seen either. The drawbridge too. I like how everything you make has so much detail.

Treasure Grotto Final Duel: Barbossa vs. Sparrow Vignette
ZeekyBoogeyDoog replied to SirNadroj's topic in Pirate MOCs
Very cleverly done *y* I like the transparent arts usage for the water and the rock formations. -
This is a thing of beauty X-O The attention to detail, everything about this excellent. There's even in a clapper in the bell. Well done!

A Hard Day's Fight - INTERACTIVE!
ZeekyBoogeyDoog replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Let the knight win. I'm sick of all these skellies running around turning folks into undead ;-) -
Fantastic X-O I think my favorite aspects of it is the little island with the pen, and the arching bridge that connects the towers. The texture created on the towers is an excellent touch *y*

wow, lots of pictures... My first impression is that the trolls are awesome. The dwarves are awesome. The orcs are cool, but the helmets look kinda spacey to me, they remind me of rock raider helmets. As has been said, 'bout time Lego made Warcraft ;-) I would like to see elves as well

These are very nice sets, my favorite are the castle ones, particularly the wizard fig. I think they are very expensive for their size, however. Roughly $5 USD for a single knight and accessories? :-/ They should be half that.

You did a great job creating a dark, gothic atmosphere with this vig. Your use of lighting bricks in your vigs is very effective.
-
Awesome job *y*!. The tan and grey look great; I would suggest using black for the roof slopes, it would blend with the top better. I love these CC style buildings you make.
-
This has been a very fun contest! Everyone made great entries *y* . I voted for Barbossa, I love the intricate stone looking exterior of his building.

I think we need more clues, like for example we find green scales on the deck or a box in a locker that contains theatrical glue, an acytlene torch, a book on legends of the tribes of the Pacific Northwest, and so forth. Something earthshattering that would prove beyond a doubt the monster exists or not.
