  1. Awesome. I love the details, the horn like structures on the loam roof *y* . Great playability as well!
  2. I agree. Its great to see non pirate faces and torsos being used *y* ! I really like the fig with the goblin torso.
  3. That's mildly cool.
  4. Thanks! The lifeboat is actually out of the line of fire I think, but I agree the ladders are. I think I can get the ladders out of the way by increasing the distance between cannons by one stud, but I don't have enough slopes right now to do this. I got lazy, and so traced the Imperial Flagship's spanker and jib sails ;-) I used the Victory as model for this in fact. I plan to someday reduce the the number of square sails or make them the right size in relation to each other. It seems pirates are going to have a hard time around here ;-) Imperials rule!! Thanks you! Thanks! I also plan to raise the bow upwards a bit. Thanks! Yay for flower ornaments! Thank you!
  5. The person above me has made an inference based upon earlier comments :-)
  6. A theme around aliens that aren't evil.
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. The person above me has read my sig :-)
  9. That's an interesting question. I've never thought about it. I have no idea where I'm going to put all of accumulated my MOCs either; I rarely take them apart. Setting up a little park like the Miniland park in Legoland if you get the money to do the necessary landscaping and such is an option that appeals to me.
  10. The person above me is unsure how to die.
  11. Id hate to be her. Its pretty unfortunate thing to hope for something and get something else entirely
  12. I agree on both points. The others are quite nice as well. The only thing I don't like about the Knight is the white cabin, I think it would look better black. I would guess that the Knight uses 8+ midsections?
  13. Oops!! :-$ Shows what I know about ships ;-) But I will definitely add that effect. I think I'll add two gun ports in the bow as well.
  14. Awesome *y* ! I love the details of the exterior and the interior is great.
  15. Great job *y* ! I particularly like the dragoon.
  16. Thanks all! Thanks, that's my favorite view as well. It reminds me of a photograph of the Victory. It definitely needs to be wider, the deck space is crazy narrow. When building this, I indeed considered stopping at one deck; I plan to make a more or less identical one decked ship some day. When I get enough of those cone pieces ;-)
  17. *impresed whistle* I saw the Soleil Royal model you posted here some time ago; very impressive model!
  18. I love those flags! *wub* Very nice touch. Awesome signatures by the way ;-)
  19. 36b I finished my biggest MOC yet, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. First, thanks to everyone who posted in the Endeavour thread; I really appreciated the helpful and friendly advice and feedback, which has significantly improved my previous version of this ship. Also, thanks to Mosana for the navy torsos. Ive written a little backstory for this MOC as well: The commodore of the Imperial Guards' West Indies fleet is tired of being stymied by pirates with bigger ships and swiveling guns. The brigands have become so bold as to decorate their sails with stripes and big skulls and crossbones. Finally, his request for aid has been acknowledged. The infernal navy bureaucracy has at last decided the colonies warrant the presence of a 52 gun man o war. Of course, in Imperial Guard tradition, due to the incompetency of naval echelons the ship has arrived with only 4 cannons on board. Gallery
  20. I couldn't really decide, both MOCS are great. I finally voted for number one, because of the functionality aspect to it, as well as the ever popular robot on wheels.
  21. My guess would be the introduction of a large number of parts or new colors perhaps? I think when Lego drops these banners it could be when the parts are being changed- The Legoland banner was done away with in 1991, I think, and I believe minifig head studs were made hollow during this time. The System sets have different versions of some parts that were sold in kits under the Legoland banner, like hoses without tabs for example, and others were done away with, like the cypress tree (I think). This is all conjecture of course.
  22. Wow!
  23. For some reason I find Texas much funnier... :-D Btw, Chuck Norris doesn't read books, he stares at them until he gets the information he wants.
  24. The person above me was in a build off.
