  1. Hello! Here is the latest addition to my "Midiopolis" Midiscale City. Enjoy! This Modular features an Old Office Building, with the first story having been renovated and occupied by a Chain Beauty Supply Store, leaving the remaining upper two stories intact in their original state. Next to the Old Office Building is a Country Boutique & Candle Shop.
  2. Gonna have a new Model up soon! Currently rendering pics...
  3. True and gold of all colors! Very cool.
  4. Nah. If TLG makes it then alot will probably be changed anyway unless your model was already up to official Lego standards in terms of structural integrity (aka kinda boring imo lol). Look at Pete Reid's mech for example.
  5. Has anyone tried or had the need to replace the HDRI images used by Stud.io's Eyesight renderer? I'm unsure what access people have to their Stud.io program files on Windows, but on Linux running Stud.io thru Wine (which works great btw aside from a few hiccups which can be fixed or dealt with fairly easily) with everything stored in the created virtual drive, under [in my case using PlayOnLinux (if you're just running plain Wine the path will probably be /home/user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Studio 2.0/PhotoRealisticRenderer/win/32/HDR/)] /home/user/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/Studio/drive_c/Program Files/Studio 2.0/PhotoRealisticRenderer/win/32/HDR/ I found two HDRIs which were TexturesCom_Pano029.hdr and TexturesCom_Pano040.hdr. I also found in the generated render script which HDRIs each light setting uses, with Piazza using TexturesCom_Pano029.hdr, and Asteroid and Dawn using TexturesCom_Pano040.hdr with Asteroid seemingly being a half intensity version of Dawn by default. (As for the light settings Building and Mechanic, the generated render script didn't seem to reference using any HDRIs at all, nor were there any changes in the renders when a different HDRI was in use.) So by replacing each of these two HDRIs and with a different HDRI and applying the old HDRI name to the new HDRI, you can successfully use a different HDRI. Here's a quick example of the results. Both images used the Piazza light setting, with the first render using the original HDRI TexturesCom_Pano029.hdr, and the second render using the new HDRI (in this case my favorite) urban_street_01_4k TexturesCom_Pano029.hdr urban_street_01_4k
  6. "Woah, that was...unusual. For awhile there, I felt as if we'd been kicked out of our world, and were stuck with nothing to do but just stand and wait outside hoping we'd eventually be let back in. Could all of this be...some kind of illusion? Computer! End program!... No? Oh well. Anyway..."
  7. Yoooooo that's sick! Ollie-or-die or No Ollie, No Life gang I guess.
  8. "He looked the type didn't he?" I'd like to check the personal papers
  9. I'd like to inspect the small box of trinkets
  10. Classic Space, Blacktron, Mtron. I actually kinda wished I voted Classic Castle over Classic Space, and I just realized Futuron wasn't on the list. MONORAIL!!!
  11. I agree, and such inevitability means they should've never bought bricklink in the first place, kicking customs from their home. However with what you said in mind, that's probably one of the reason Lego bought Bricklink in a broader sense. When something unofficial becomes so popular that it might be mistaken as something official to the uneducated, that's a problem waiting to happen. What if say a security breach happens at Bricklink and victims blame Lego? "Oh it's not a buisness you own? Well maybe you should have told people that or had that buisness do a better job of letting people know that! I WANNA SPEAK TO THE MANAGAER!!!" If it was with something like that in mind and not to yeet some customs from having a popular place to sell that Lego bought Bricklink them I'm fine with it.
  12. Yikes. Don't think any one would disagree that such behaviour is unaccetable. Scalpers really are the thing lately for electronics lately such as graphic cards and the new xbox and playstation. And on that note Lego had no fricking right to buy Bricklink if they were gonna kick out third party parts from being sold there. I have no complaints about what Lego makes for kids since I'm sure they know what they're doing to make stuff kids will like and that's all that matters really, but if that's what they're gonna do for adult fans then just stay away.
  13. Yo that's so cool! Weirdly enough when I looked at it the first thing I thought was "That's so cool it should be glued and kept as a permanent decoration".
  14. That's not what I said at all. The complaint was about the products Lego makes, and the answer is that Lego's priority is making money, and they do that by making products for kids. Not adults. Another trait of complainers is they don't like the answers. Because complaining is pointless, unwarrented, and unhealthy for the complainer, everyone else involved, and the image of the community.
  15. If they weren't hidden, then it would allow some to sell less than others. And there's all kinds of problems with that. Lego more likely than not knows what they doing to acheive their goals. I have a hard time thinking of a something licensed that lego could make a theme off of that wouldn't be media based. Lego probably has no need to do original themes when thay could probably easily acquire and make a licenced theme with the same idea that will sell better and not look like a nock off of said license because it is that license. And big bang themes have tv shows and/or other gimmicks to accompany them because that's what sells probably. Every complaint from AFOLs about Lego can probably be explained with this. And it's the "True fans" who set those standards. I could only hope it's another case of the loud minority.
  16. "Chech'tluth!"
  17. "Or you could just try pulling the crown four times."
  18. I'd like to check the layout of the bathroom
  19. I'd like to inspect the contents of the paper @Pandora "You gonna show us what's in ya fancy suitcase Lasse?"
  20. I'd like to open the briefcase if possible
  21. "Sounds good." Vote to search 2B
  22. " "C" egh? That's either the Captain, Charlie, or you Charlotte right? The contents seems to imply Charlotte wrote it, but why would she have it if it was seemingly left under a cup for someone? Who was this for Charlotte?" "Was it to George? What was the project and was it related to Alfie in any way?" I'd like to check the bathroom
  23. "Eh-hem! And I quote..." "Waaah! I wanted to read it! Guess I'll go check the suitcases and find nothing like some unimportant side character!" I'd like to check the suitcase's contents
