  1. That's twelve! @Tohst love you guys' Cantigny show.
  2. You just gotta wade thru a lot of crap to find something good. There definitely is some good content on there, but finding it is hard. If you browse under #lego, you'll find a lot of content, which most probably won't be that good. But if you browse under #legotrain, You'll find some good stuff, but you might miss out on something good if someone didn't use that hashtag. If you do find something you like though, make sure it was posted by the original creator and follow them if you like their other content and wanna see more. One thing though is that Instagram has countless MOC showcase accounts that post everyone else's models. This would be fine if it was content that wasn't on Instagram already by the original creator (like dude? ), and was instead content from elsewhere that you couldn't find on Instagram, and if they actually told you how to find the original creator! Also Flickr had Groups and I miss that on Instagram. Honestly Flickr was perfect and I get bummed everytime I think about it. Oh and also all the accounts that post nothing but minifigs in the outdoors. Who is that even for? Basically Lego is way more popular these days and Instagram has a lot of different audiences (five year olds) so there's gonna be a lot of content put out for them.
  3. The only thing I can somewhat agree with is that the designer should be able to sell their instructions earlier. However I can see a couple possible reasons for why Lego does it such as deterring people from using Ideas as a place to advertise their model. Is one allowed to give away their instructions for free before the deadline is up? Because if not then yeah I'd say that's exsessive. Ideas is a subpart of Lego as a hobby for fun and should be treated as such IMO. Submiting your model, watching it grow, maybe have it reach ten thousand, maybe have it made into a Lego set, reading and watching people's opinions and reviews of your model, etc. This is all supposed to be fun. The only problems are the ownership issues, but as long as you're not selling any part of your model then this probably won't be a issue for you.
  4. We in for a ride or something?
  5. One more to go I believe.
  6. If this continues then I'll have no complaints.
  7. What is the temperament of a Dragon? My armour is iron! My teeth are swords, my claws are spears! My wings are a HURRICANE! Who rules the forest? All dem cute animals in Snow White. Roll for initiative. I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22!!!!!!!
  8. What are the complaints here? Like with as few words as possible lol. Players not better hiding their identities (whether purposely or not) gives them an unfair advantage? Maybe? If people think your scum then you'll probably get lynched. Veterans expecting new players to play the "EB meta"way? See this is funny because I'd have it no other way. Screw me if I'm gonna get babied. Screw school and screw grades just throw me in with big kids and let's see whether or not they'll kill me. I should go back and read my first game. I was like the ultimate noob. Can't imagine why. Nobody else thinks anyone else here is a dum-dum. Meaning people won't care that the person they might think is a dum-dum called them a dum-dum. Yikes. All it was and still is now was mafia rules and how we're not following them. Your like the Sheliak. Yes you were fine in P2. Meaning this has nothing to do with us and is entirely on you. I'll leave you all with my best analogy for how mafia is played here.
  9. Hobby snobs. One can never escape them.
  10. The first Pirates Mafia was a lot of fun because we were all pirates and that's easy and fun to RP as.
  11. GG! Great game Bob! Scum did very well. It was imposible with town (but not completely town lol) orchestrating blocks and what not so quickly into the game. Should have just said screw it and asked Vincent or someone if they wanted to do some dumb crap like what I talked about.
  12. Hey @ingels! I'm glad you're enjoying this topic! Yes, you can fit a 90 degree curve into a 32x32 baseplate. All you'll need is 24 rail links for each 90 degree curve, which you can see below different ways they can be constructed, as well as how they're put together. At 24 links, it might be a little tight for some peoples taste, but it'll work. You might have more options for how you can build your monorail using regular motors such as the M, L, and XL motors (espesially if your monorail is going to be taking such tight corners), however Masao Hidaka has built a monorail using the normal train motor which you can see in these videos!
  13. Wine in front of me from the Princess Bride.
  14. I know I try. Not posting gifs and shit might help.
  15. lol I can see it now. I was kinda hoping Ethan would turn out to actually be a new player since that would've been so cool to see a new player do so well. But there was no way.
  16. Wow has the game started already?
  17. Alright alright alright!
