Thanks for the feedback everyone :-) Hey, you're right :-$ I was about to do another of this one too: :-D I found where it is from too. It's the Italeri Historic Battle set: Waterloo 1815. So this is from the battle of Waterloo. Once again, thanks X-D

They look like stickers to me :-( And they should replace the 2 skeletons in the big set with 2 hovitos *wub*
-
Well TLC has said somewhere that they can only make a limited number of new pieces for their themes, and there is clearly alot of new parts for this line.
-
Thank you very much, Hinckley *wub* I see Marion has a black French braided hairpiece, and what looks like a switchable head *wub* And although the whip isn't bendable, at least we get a different one in the Egyptian and truck sets. But the Hovito hasn't been shown in the big set again :-/ Thanks again, Hinckley :'-)

Here's another MOC-painting thing :-$ This time it's from a box of plastic model soldiers.. ...And here's mine! 8-

Thanks everyone, I'm quite happy with how this turned out *sweet* I wish I had the newest chef though - I love his face *wub* You can expect more Skellie whacking soon.. *sweet* *y*
-
Yeah, you did in the Neighbourhood Contest Discussion Thread X-D EDIT: What? I havn't posted anything? :-$ Great job, Batbrick. I love your control room. I see you've got two computers, perhaps so you can post two comments on Eurobricks at once X-D I also love how the base is in the water (in a cave) and it has all of the walkways along it *wub* Great job!

I'm pretty sure the boxes are hollow. I can't really see TLC making a solid crate, as it would be very annoying for the upcoming city post sets. Can anyone make out what the new Nazi torso looks like? It certainly doesn't look like the naboo one. Being-Chased-By-Nazis-on-Motorcycles ON!

I've added a new vehicle for the Imperial Asian Army (That's what I'll call them now :-$ ) It's some sort of tank, a very effective vehicle for urban combat. It's wheels allow it to travel through rough terrain, it's relatively small size lets it drive through narrow streets, and it's plough allows it to clear the way of debris (and enemy infantry as well >:-) ) Here it is: At the back is a door for the soldiers inside it to charge out: Inside is the driver: A soldier can stand on top, firing his weapon: I've taken photos of a new urban faction, but I'll wait until I have finished the pirates to show them.. |-/ X-D

Here's my latest installment of the skellie-mafia series. Caesar's Pizza Palace, the finest Italian restaurant in all of Skellietown. Inside, one of the skellies negotiates with a member of the mafia. The mafia member excuses himself to the bathroom.. While he's there, the chef watches with delight as Mr. Skellie enjoys his spaghetti The mafia member arrives back with a gun in his hand.. The spectators gasp (although some don't look like they mind too much :-P ) The skellie falls to the floor (who knew killing the dead was that easy? :-D ) Now, the cast: The people: (Chef, Mafia Member, Skellie, Husband, Wife) And the statues: (Murmillo, Retiarii, Caesar, Legionary, Hoplomachi) Enjoy X-D

I voted for zz-80. A wonderful job, nice and detailed work too *wub*

Okay, thanks guys. I had a feeling it might have been from a plastic figure box *sad* Oh well, I'll still do it *sweet* EDIT: Now that I think about it, I've got a few Italeri sets myself. I've got Cossack cavalry and Russian infantry I think..
-
Err, Bonaparte? Do you know who painted this and what is is of? I couldn't find it anywhere :-$
-
Well, since there's no chance in me getting into the finals of Killing the Dead ( |-/ :-D) , I think I'm able to continue with my Goodskellas series.. Skellie Woltz has refused to give a mafia member a part in his movie, but that will soon change. "I'll make 'em an offer he can't refuse.." says the mafia boss. The Next Morning... Skellie Woltz wakes up, ready for another day.. Old Skellie has a stretch... Before looking down... .. At the severed head of his prized horse :-X X-D :-D (Scene from the Godfather, in case you didn't know :-$ )

Ah yes, that would be better. Thanks for the feedback Mr Phes *y*
-
Well my final exam is German.. I'm also doing history, art (as you might've noticed X-D) and the normal others. Once again, thanks everyone (especially those who voted for me X-D :-P )

*wub* An excellent manor indeed. I love the architecture you've used. It looks classic but still has a nice new feeling to it. The interior is great too, just as detailed as the outside *wub* The scene inside the walls is well-done as well - the way you've done the path, statue and stairs is brilliant. As is the great positioning of all the minifigs. In fact, everything is great about this, I can't think of a crtisism. Great job *wub*
-
Good job, Bonaparte, thanks :-) Wow, that's a great picture, I havn't seen that one before. I think this'll be my next work... >:-)
-
Exactly :-D And thanks Mr Phes. I've now got one more to go :-/

Thanks for the feedback everyone *sweet* Well, it's supposed to be Nelson putting his hand in his coat pocket part, but looking back on it now, I'd have probably better off giving him a hand.

CCCV Entry: Troll's Den by Sir Nadroj
MagPiesRUs replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
:-D nice job. The troll looks great in his boxers with a bottle of wine in his hand X-D And poor ol' Quicky :'-( Once again, I love your design of beds, and the cot looks nice too. -
Well, I'm adding a group of post-apoc pirates, who'll have a rather tattered and junky looking pirate ship, and the guerilla faction has a cannon wagon thing, although I don't really like the look of it. Thanks, iamded.
-
A very nice MOC. Add a few more barrels, and dropped rifles, and it'll be perfect *sweet* I especially love your decals, and I like how that last one goes down the legs *wub*

My third MOC of a painting, 'The Death of Nelson', by Benjamin West With Britain threatening the French Empire, Admiral Pierre Charles attacks the British fleet, while Napoleon fought at Austerlitz. The French and Spanish fleet engages the British fleet, under the famed Admiral Nelson at Trafalgar. During the battle, a French soldier manages to shoot Nelson. His collegues rust to his aid. Before he dies, he learns of their victory, and dies knowing he won. Original painting: Legoed version: I just did the small part of where Nelson is dying, because the first picture I saw just showed that Who's this? Once again, our friendly painter *wub* : ...Who's on the mast of the ship, which has been pummeled with a cannonball: Look out, painter: :-D

Thanks, Bonaparte, glad you like it *sweet* Thanks, woody. Good idea too. I'll be doing a few more of these too.
