  1. The issue that it is complete lack of integrity to give a new version of a sought after character in an expensive set a rehashed design.
  2. Lol the Parademons have leg printing and even toe printing, and they couldn't bother with Superman? Priorities!
  3. Exclusive figure in a $100 set is just a recolor of an existing figure... man what is going on with LEGO this year?? LOL First the Flying Fox set now this!
  4. Oof, dang, I thought it was the other way around. That's probably the only reason I'd want the set then.
  5. Wait, quick question, is Tactical Batman in the Fox or the Knightcrawler?
  6. You've got a good point, my mistake. If you could edit your quotes, I've hid my information. Again, it's just something I heard, but it lines up with a few things we've heard from Making Star Wars, such as:
  7. Is it just me, or is the Flying Fox set kind of pointless? You get a cooler Batman in the Knightcrawler (in my opinion), the Flying Fox isn't a very unique design and the only real exclusive figure is Cyborg. It's so expensive yet it has so little!
  8. A little birdie told me that Snoke is one of the four buildable figures for TLJ, and the largest set is a ship that belongs to someone named "Ducain". I really hope said birdie was telling the truth,
  9. What's strange is that I didn't see the Spideys sets either.
  10. My TRU has all the summer sets EXCEPT for any MCU sets. Anyone find it in the wild?
  11. Interesting, the Spider-man sets are on the US LEGO website and the Thor ones aren't. However I checked the UK website and the Thor sets aren't on there either.
  12. Oof, that's tough. I love the Asgard set, but I need that Vulture and updated Spidey...
  13. Oooh, could you show pictures?
  14. You may be able to use ice skate pieces or wolverine claws upside down. But I digress, I'd say we should take it to the purist thread but it's sort of hard to do purist talks about figures that aren't even out yet.
  15. That doesn't look terrible, but the one I meant was this Ronin and his legs. Someone pointed out that he has "talons" already. Also, with all these leaks of the Thor sets and the Thor comic having the Spider-man set comic on the back, could they be releasing along with them in June?
  16. Has anyone thought up some purist leg pieces to switch out for all the Marvel figures without leg printing? I know someone already came up with Ronin's legs from the Ninjago Salvage Mech being great for Vulture.
  17. I'm really liking everything about that Asgard set, but I have no idea how they got it so early.
  18. Ha, are we really going to get more posts bashing the Rathtar and Freemaker sets? We get it.
  19. Huh, that's a shame. My guess is they didn't know who was playing Vulture when they got art of him so they just gave him a generic face, similar to Grandmaster.
  20. Crossing my fingers for a surprise winter GOTG2 set with Ego, Gamora in her actual outfit, Kraglin and Peter.
  21. The villains were never promised to be epic ocean villains though, they ones in the Ninjago Movie have always been thugs wearing themed hats.
  22. Destiny's Bounty is honestly the best ship I've seen since the Imperial Flagship. WOW.
  23. I almost can't believe that not only is Superman rehashed from the BVS set, but they couldn't even dualmold his legs.
  24. Yeah, that's it for this year. Panther and Infinity War should bring some interesting sets but I'd say this was a really good year for getting great figures of integral characters like Spider-man (accurate for once) and Thor. I'm interested to see if we'll get a proper helmet for Panther next year.
