    Don’t really like rebels, but its fantastic. Insane attention to detail and the size is just ridiculous, in a good way of course.

    They aren’t, however, they are used for a mechanism on the inside that lets you lower/raise the wings.

    I also finished the model a little while back. One of the most fantastic additions to my collection. I had a couple problems. First is the insane repetitive nature of building the wings (which is not your fault at all and was something I was aware of going in) and the second one is how flimsy the wings can be. Moving it can sometimes be an absolute nightmare. I tried to move mine to a different table to get enough space for the wings to go down and because it's the tiniest bit lopsided, when I put them back up, the left side wings came crashing down. This is probably something that cannot be fixed due to the necessary weight of the wings but you really do gotta place it where you want to. Other than that though it was an amazing experience to build and display and hopefully you do another UCS model at this scale

    We'll probably get 6000 piece sets in time. Remember, they leaped straight from 3000-5000 and we didn't get a 4000 piece set until 2010 with the tower bridge. Nowadays we've got absolute tons of 4000 piece sets

    I have all the pieces and I'm still only about halfway to finishing it (some personal things are happening alongside this), and this thing is huge, it's like, around the same length as the 10179 falcon. It's so far been a really fun build.

    I am sooooo hyped! This is actually my first time bricklinking a MOC (Second time bricklinking, first being the UCS Millennium Falcon)

    Have all but 1 order. Last one is taking it's sweet time. Unfortunately, it has a lot of the parts for the beginning of the build so I can't get started just yet

    Probably going to do a Palpatine's shuttle. I just find it REALLY hard to build something someone's already built better than you ever could, plus it's a nice ship and that's never a bad thing. The Resistance Bomber is something I'd love to make into a UCS when we get more official pics of it

    Bb8 seems to be love it or hate it, and I personally love it. I thought they did a pretty good job at making a UCS bb-8 with the size limit they had, bomber and kylo's tie look pretty nice too. First order SD is something I would really like to see a UCS of one of these days. First order walkers kinda suck though, but maybe I'll grow to like them just like I did with the first order lander

    This. When Mirko revealed the instructions and how high quality they were, I was expecting a price of 100+ euros, 59.99 is a small price to pay for this level of quality in my mind, and it's a price I'm willing to pay

    Same. I think the U wing will be my big project for August, seeing as I've ordered everything for renegade clone's cargo shuttle. Having both in the same room beside each other will be so awesome

    I'm sorry if I came across as looking like I'm a part of lepin. It's actually quite sad that people have to fear Chinese cloners stealing their mocs nowadays, it's pretty messed up if you choose not to release the instructions, I respect your decision. I was just hoping to add this specific moc to my collection.

    Going to be building this soon. I'm getting all the parts before I buy the instructions, I'm going through my own parts first, I think I'm gonna substitute the red skeleton pieces for different colours. Great model, can't wait to build it -rogue
