  1. Bizarro Superman set is still around just got mine which I ordered for 7usd shipped off AE and on the subject of AE I had my doubts too but got a good majority of my orders this week in good time, in fact I'm having issues with orders off eBay, so a future foundation set did not turn up and still waiting for mark1 iron man set which I bought before the AE stuff that I already received
  2. I got my set from here http://www.ebay.com/sch/onelinkwalk/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p2059210.m2748.l2654
  3. Thanks for the heads up just picked one up off AE
  4. Wow scottyhaze that looks like a corner from a toystore, well done
  5. That is too sick, good luck sir
  6. Funny enough as goo Indeed and I have yet to pick up the SC and Tumbler, funny enough this will probably sit behind those 2 in priority since I have the normal slave 1 and 2. There's a host of examples where figures are released who bare no relation at all to that particular scene or vehicle. In my opinion its about perceived value, other than a pair of printed arms and minor detail changes, the figures are all repeats of past sets in some form of another, the UCS Slave will command a premium price and ideally I would have liked to have seen some sort of exclusive, another bounty hunter maybe? Anyways this is why the UCS Tumbler is full of win because the Heath Joker can not be had in any other set, its a bonus that I feel you don't get with the UCS Slave
  7. What do people reckon is a fair price for hulk buster, at the moment see them selling for 10usd+
  8. Wow looks huge
  9. Well i paid 9usd for my punisher set off AE and recently picked up another off ebay for 5usd, so ye paid nearly double first time round Would be interested to see a review on 'doll' figures, hopefully digger will have one up
  10. Boba with printed arms is great, would have been a lot better if they could fit another exclusive in, oh well no biggy, its all about the ship anyways
  11. Neither though i did get bossk, a little disappointed with the color scheme of the UCS, similar criticisms to the 2011 version applies, the colored bricks are too sharp for what is suppose to be a junkyard spaceship, may have to bricklink some sand green parts to fix that
  12. I'm not in a rush, I have found that I end up overpaying buying too early and the bootlegs go for much less once they saturate ebay
  13. Since decool have released a hulkbuster I wouldn't even go near the lele one
  14. Thought there was a picture posted a few pages back, diggers review shows the next wave as well
  15. Oh thanks for the correction, all I know is that its not the standard mask, I have noticed as well lately some official figs having 'sharper' shoulders, maybe decool got hold of one of those figs hence the sharper shoulders on their stuff
  16. Orders slowly arriving, just got my SY phase 2 iron man figs this morning, dont recall anyone bring this up but i found one of the iron man heads is actually a sdcc inspired version, check out the pic very happy indeed
  17. Hey thats my line lol
  18. Go for the park not for the LEGO, sets in MSIA are notoriously expensive, the only thing i picked up when i was there was a city fig with the MSIA flag printed on front and a couple of keychain bricks with my boys names engraved on them
  19. Thanks for the scans robuko/kid, I agree its interesting how decool has done SDCCs in the past and missed the opportunity with gotg set this time round, will probably pick a set up anyways out of curiosity for my boy and the 2 bigfigs are must buys
  20. Second that, will be disappointed if the GotG figures turn out exact replicas as official as I pretty much got all other than the small showdown set
  21. Sandcrawler either versions Sandcrawler either versions
  22. Anyways enough political debate, lets get back onto the good stuff diggers review on young justice and lele swat team
  23. The only person most likely getting ripped off here is LEGO. Both the customisers and bootleggers are making characters from the LEGO games and I doubt either are paying royalties to anyone for doing that. Bootleggers are not solely replicating everything, they do release their own stuff which the majority of us are mostly interested in like big fig Thing, future foundation etc. Right now the biggest advantage bootleggers have over everyone is price point. We all accept there’s some imperfections compared to official but at $1-2 a fig no one is complaining. I mean hell even printing on official figs are not perfect. Have you seen SY figs, the print is more than satisfactory. Swap some official arms and I’m more than happy to throw that fig in with the rest of my collection. Most customisers likely start of as hobbyists who wanted to PAD their own designs and decide to sell their figs online to pay off their investment. It is unlikely they would close shop because of bootleggers, if anything it may drive their prices down so they are more competitive which is a win for the consumer. At the end of the day we are all AFOLs who want to see more marvel/dc figs, whether we get them through LEGO, customisers or bootleggers its irrelevant and I’ve said this before, it’s your money and you are free to spend it the way you want.
  24. I don't see SY rereleasing with square feet, your best to get that set and replace legs and arms with official
