  1. It's a choice out of 5 (I honestly cannot decide ): 10020 Sante Fe Super Chief: A re-release (more modern version) of 6399: 10184 Town Plan: 10182 Café Corner: 10190 Market Street: All of these sets make me And finally this
  2. Actually having seen the MegaFactories: LEGO episode I think it's around 30 - 40 % now. Yes this is a great idea, there should be 3 of these sets: -Earth colours (blue, green, brown, a variety of shades of course ) -Black and white -A selection of bley, tan, reddish brown, etc.
  3. I'm not very up to date with my collection on Brickset, but i'd say around 150.
  4. I agree, I think the main baseplate should be dark bley and the path should be light bley. Could you at least give "denik" some constructive criticism? That would be more helpful. Thanks. Anyway, another good MOC "denik", I am liking your work, but I suggest using darker bricks to capture the atmosphere of the place better. And yes the camera work could be better, but otherwise good job!
  5. Good job, you have captured the spirit of the manor well I suggest building a bigger version, that way you can include more details.
  6. Don't worry, I'll save you! *throws a minifig-sized life jacket* A little small, perhaps?
  7. We actually got 2 banks in 2011, Gringott's in 10217, and of course, 3661. Therefore, I doubt there will be another bank for the next few years. There has been a small leak of Lego Exclusive sets for 2012, including 10223 Kingdom's Joust (which is to be like MMV 10193), but most exciting of all, next year's modular building, 10224 Town Hall - discussion topic can be found here.
  8. This set has been available in the UK since late December, but I haven't got it (as much as I like the cars) - it's just way to expensive for what you get.
  9. Congratulations, "Ricecracker", you will do a great job.
  10. Very good layout, looking forward to seeing the future MOCs which will be integrated into the layout. Great work
  11. This unfortunately happens to stickers gradually over time, regardless of whether they have been in contact with direct sunlight or not. I suggest some sort of scrubbing brush (or a toothbrush), and warm soapy water (ideally in a nearly-full basin). If you remove the stickers by hand (i.e. scraping it off with your nail), there is a sticky glue that remains. Luckily, using the method above will resolve this. If you would like some replacement stickers, search around online (it's amazing how many people don't apply their stickers), ot contact TLG. Hope this helped
  12. That is superb, ingenious design! The cat adds a high degree of awesomeness to it
  13. The only cooler possibility would be that it was made completely out of thousands of LEGO pieces (par from the tyres, and still be able to function (Power Functions)).
  14. Wow awesome find! I went to Oostende too, on holiday to Brugges, Belgium Unfortunately I didn't come across this It was 4 years ago, however...
  15. Haha so true! In a way, England is "boring", due to its lack of "exciting" weather and wildlife (except the badger and the beastly basking shark).
  16. If you look to the left, mine is an undead bunch of plastic. Hopefully not Chinese. It is, however, temporary. New one to come soon
  17. 50% Irish 45% English 5% Australian
  18. So many to choose from, but this is so adorable and reveals my "softer" side
  19. I bought nothing, getting some small CITY sets soon though In fact I haven't bought ANY Lego since the end of July - Medieval Market Village ( ) ... Well, I just spent around £250 on the latest Ipod Touch + Accessories and Apps... Perhaps I should build a Lego Ipod? EDIT: I have tried about 5 hopeless times to do the combo emoticon, little help?
  20. Very clever, I like that book too! I guess HighFlyer is to do with my personality; I like to succeed and "Fly High". I also like aeroplanes and rollercoasters, which I guess gives my name a little extra support...
  21. Brilliant MOD of a stunning set. Try both a pitched and a flat roof, take photos of them both, and then we can decide which looks best? 100th post
  22. Fantastic MOC, brilliant details and a good colour scheme. You need to deeplink the pictures though, a tutorial to post deeplinked images from Brickshelf can be found here.
  23. Great review, this set is quite good. Think I prefer 7939 though, however 7898 has to be the best out of the 3 recent City Cargo Trains.
  24. Nice train, like the colour scheme and the overall shape.
  25. Hopefully it will be something like this: So glad I own this set
