The 2003 Matoran don't look too bad, but I think they're unnecessary. Story-wise they're weird, rebuilding themselves? That's just disturbing. The only thing that's the same is their heads and feet, so they basically detached their heads and put them on a different body. They should have released new Matoran in the old forms, i.e. Takua, Hahli, Kopeke. Plus I hate the koli sticks being silver, and them having disks instead of koli balls. The sticks should have been like they are in the movie, as the koli sticks are the only things that look better in the movie. Or just not have koli sticks and play the game properly.

2001 Matoran are the epitome of 7-piece sets, and always will be. I don't think the amount of parts matters as such. The actual quality matters more. I mean take the 2001 Matoran. No build to speak of, but completely win. 2006 Matoran had a good amount of parts, but they kiiiiind of sucked. It's like it says in the Inika commercial -- it's not what you've got, it's what you do with it. :P IMO: McToran > Turaga > Va > MahriToran > Hydruka > KoliToran > Rahaga > MetruToran > VoyaToran > Av-Matoran 2003 Matoran would have been better if they made the other two teams, and if they had koli balls instead of those disks, and if their sticks looked better. And if they didn't ruin Kopeke. >=( MNOG II

This isn't related to the topic entirely, but I would just like to say, if you haven't downloaded the offline version of MNOG II, you should do it as soon as possible. Because IT WORKS. =O

Win.

I think it's because LEGO can no longer come up with female characters that aren't vicious and destructive. See: Roodaka, Lariska, Gorast, female Skakdi, Nikila, Dalu, Gavla. All of them are further from placid than most of the males, and these are almost all of the new female characters we've had in the last four years.

----> hopefully that's chocolate I just stepped in

Tuyet brings it down.

Might as well have a topic for it. I'll start things off. Reign Of Shadows is a shitpile, and I stopped reading after Tahu said "does it involve explosions?" Discuss.

Why the hell does Greg keep adding things to a story that's already complex?

I recall that when I heard about it, I realised that based on the first movie, Turaga were older than Toa, so I thought they get youthicised in 2004 or something. I only realised that the Turaga were "older" when I heard about them being Toa sets. That was weird. Then I was thinking that like Metru Nui is in a different time to Mata Nui, and there's a barrier and when you pass through it you're in the time before time. Don't know how that works, ask my ten-year-old self. Then I got the fact that it's a flashback, Metru Nui is an ancient city, and the Toaraga were the protectors. Sounded really cool. I assumed that the Turaga were never Matoran. Then I saw that the Turaga used to be Matoran-turned-noob-Toa, I was like eh. I mean I know there's a lot of room for character development and all if they're thrown into the role, but I would have liked if Metru Nui was always protected by the Toa Metru, and then the story starts when Matoran start to disappear. So that way they're experienced and awesome, the way the Turaga should be. My reaction upon hearing BA#1 spoilers was basically: "Who the hell is 'Lhikan'? Why did he give the Toa Toa stones? Wait, they were Matoran? They were Toa, and they were Matoran? Were they Rahi as well?"

Question for everyone who was around at the time: When you first heard the Turaga were Toa, what did you think the Metru Nui story would be like?

Does it have every video ever? :P
-
I would be. Don't know how to use torrent though. :P I'm in one of those nostalgic BIONICLE moods, where I like to watch CG movies and stuff. They make me warm and fuzzy. On the inside.

LOL OH Thanks

Hey Tyranide, do you still have those Bohrok videos with the text? They were on your TyranideProductions account on YouTube which I think got deleted.

There is no BIONICLE set worth getting twenty of. Except Zesk.

I don't believe it said the Skrall were vastly outnumbered anyway so I don't think you can say the Vorox are weak. There were probably like thirty or forty Skrall, they could probably take on sixty or so Vorox, especially if they had rock steeds. It's like knights on horses with sharp teeth versus cavemen.

Good news: I got Tuma, Skrall and Tarix Bad news: School tomorrow

1) Is Mata Nui gay? 1) I can't discuss movie plot.
-
I have two Nuhvok, but I don't go on about it.
-
Because there aren't enough fans of BIONICLE to justify taking pictures of them.

No.

I will now provide twenty reasons as to why Metus is win. Classic (non-milky) silver Recoloured Karda Nui Matoran parts Joints aren't as breaky Head is awesome Head looks like Iron Man Head is the same colour as Kopaka's eyes Mouth looks like the Joker's Mask is awesome It looks like Batman's mask It looks like Batman's mask with the Joker's mouth It looks like bird-like It looks like a viking helmet It looks like a claw He has hands Snowflake shield is the awesomest shield ever Snowflake shield is the awesomest piece ever Snowflake shield can be used as a mohawk (thx Bfa) He's the most elemental-looking Agori He looks like a dwarf He looks like a viking

Really? I thought it looked ridiculously big. But that's still probably true about Zesk, because Zesk is win. (i have him and metus yay) Speaking of that, without the middle spike on Metus' helmet, he would look like Batman. With the Joker's mouth. :P
