We're asking the question based on a well-known phrase, which asks how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. So assuming a woodchuck could chuck wood, one could pose the question "If a woodchuck could chuck wood, how many woodchucks could it chuck?" if one wanted to know how many woodchucks a woodchuck could chuck in comparison. So to relate that to your terms, we'd need two phrases. 1) How many fries could a fast food clerk produce if a fast food clerk could produce fries? Now a fast food clerk can't produce fries because he only serves them, that is if I am thinking of the right person. Similar to how a woodchuck probably can't chuck much wood. Actually, I don't even know what a woodchuck is. So to compare to that: 2) How many burgers could a fast food clerk produce if a fast food clerk could produce fries? That calls for a comparison between the skill required to make fries and the skill required to make burgers assuming phrase 1 exists, as does hewkii9's woodchuck phrase call for a comparison between the skill required to chuck wood and the skill required to chuck woodchucks assuming the original phrase exists.

The sentence itself indicates the comparison, based on the fact that the phrase "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?" exists, and since it's such a well-known phrase there is no need to bring it up within that phrase or in the signature.
-
Actually, hewkii9's sentence is correct, in that it is asking if a woodchuck could chuck wood, then how many woodchucks could it chuck in comparison. So your question example - - is incorrect or poorly worded, most likely both. :-P

No, fifteen.

There are 15 sets in the first wave, so one more after Icarax. And there IS a movie coming out in 2009-2010.

Hmm. Well, there's no reason one has to like either one end of Bionicle or the other. I like the story straight through, though I admit 2005 and 2006 were bumps in the road. I know the feel has changed a lot, but that's what they were going for. I guess what some people want is the same feel every year. Yay. Fun. Greg did say that if you didn't like 2006 or 2007 you wouldn't like 2008, so I don't know what you're all disappointed about. :-P But 2009, I think, will restore something that drew in the first fans. I can feel it. X-D With these new sets... I dunno. I don't really care about the Nuva, not so much their lack of resemblance to their old selves, but their designs, which are reused... but I really like those Makuta. And the Ignika (namely the surfboard thing). The Matoran are kinda crap because they don't look like they have more than twenty parts each... Which is less than the Turaga. Oh well, I suppose it brings us back to the 7-piece McToran in a way, except these are ugly, but granted since three are evil. Anyway, I'm not really peeved, I complain every time leaked pics come out and then end up liking them. Not to be confused with forcing myself to like them *coughHeldenthinksIforcemyselftolikethembecausethey'reBioniclecough*. Bionicle sets are like my children -- I love them all. Well, I'm not a parent.

Sir, you are a true Lego fan. I bow down to you.

[bASIL FAWLTY]Look, it's perfectly simple![/bASIL FAWLTY] Chirox, Antroz and Vamprah are the three canister Makuta coming in January. (They all wear masks. Yay.) The Makuta of Metru Nui is the one we know from 01-07, a.k.a Ultimate Dume or Maxilos. His name will be revealed in 2008, some time in February. Icarax is the Makuta of Karzahni's region, another (exclusive) set coming out in January, and will include Makuta Metru's Mask of Shadows, most likely in a new shape. Got it? *sweet*

Someone's been reading up! *sweet* -
Some new info: - The six Matoran are Matoran of Light (Av-Matoran). - Gavla is indeed female. - Vamprah is male. - There will be a female villain in the second wave. No word on what kind of set (canister or box). - Phantoka means Spirits of the Air. - More evidence that Kirop, Gavla and Radiak are infected/posessed. - There may be some factors that allow the Toa Nuva to stand a chance against the Makuta. - Icarax may be the same size as the other three Makuta.

I doubt it. Those are ugly. I don't mind the rubber concept, they're just freaky. The official name for the 2001 Toa is Toa Mata, Jinz. :-)
-
That's just coz they didn't notice that you don't have to either make every single limb piece new OR make differentiated sets. For example, instead of making those new sockets, they could have made two new chest parts to go with the Inika back and Metru hip, Jaller Mahri style. Then they'd look a bit newer.
-
I agree. I got tired of those chestplates with Nuparu Mahri. And now we get two more. That's two out of the three Toa. Oh well, at least the one Kopaka has remotely looks like Nuva armour... But really. I'd rather become an hero than see those thing appear in the next three. And would it kill them to make new limb pieces? We haven't had any new shins since the Inika. How many new parts are on these guys? I see four on Pohatu, two on Kopaka, and two on Lewa. Plus the blasters + ammo, which makes about 10-11 new parts on the new Toa. Wow. How impressive.

Indeed. Where did Stauder go? He's supposed to be translating for us! Get back into your cage until you've finished! :-P

Having both I can safely say it really depends what you look for in a set.

And no one commented on my previous post.

Bionicle story / character discussion topic.
Clonie replied to JINZONINGEN73's topic in LEGO Action Figures
There will be four more chapters of each of the three serials, according to the big cheese. -
I find that the first Toa of each arc are the most original. For example, the Toa Mata were more original than the Nuva. The Toa Metru were more original than the Hordika. And then the Inika. Unfortunately the Nuva fall under the category of this story arc so they were doomed to have Inika parts. So I expected this. But then, it's not like they can't be improved just because they're similar. Look at, uh, every Mahri. They're all better individually than their Inika forms. My opinions on the 2008 sets will be held until it matters for me to post them. It's still 2007. I'm trying to enjoy it. The last book isn't even out for crying out loud. Now let me re-enact the un-mutated Hagah scene. :-P EDIT:

Yeah, he made a few mistakes in the recordings. I did my best here though: INTO THE DARKNESS CHAPTER 1 Toa Matoro swam silently through the black waters of the pit. Behind him, the robot guardian named Maxilos followed. To Matoro, it felt like having the shadow of doom hanging over him, for he knew what no one else did
