    Guys, I know I'm about 4 years late to this. But I'm a new AFOL. And just in the past week, a new AFOL Modular sets. I've only recently discovered how amazing they are to build and display. Here's my take on the first modular set I bought - Palace Cinema.

    I felt the exact same dilemma. I've only recently liked the look of the modulars, then someone recommended them to me. So I went out and got the Palace Cinema. It was amazing. The thing took me over 4 hours to build and - despite what some say about its lack of detail - I find it absolutely incredible to look at from a distance. Already planning to go out and get the next modular! Good luck.

    I make LEGO reviews in 3 minutes or less. Here's a quick review of the 2017 LEGO Star Wars set 75169 "Duel on Naboo". This model features three LEGO minifigures - Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Qui-Gon Jinn - during the battle of Naboo from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

    A couple weeks ago, I did a massive haul while my wife was asleep. I was worried she'd be upset, so I bought her set the Romantic Valentine's Picnic (2017 seasonal set 40236) and gave it to her a bit early this Valentine's Day. Here's what she thought.

    I never used to like Batman. Then I bought this set. For anyone interested in LEGO who has not bought a Batman set, watch this. A surprising amount of detail with cool bricks, great minifigures, and now I'm off to buy the other sets.

    Hi - I give you two reviews for battle packs I just bought - 75164 and 75165 (Rebel and Imperial Trooper Battle Pack). As you can see, I'm building an army... most likely for the purpose of building recreations of battle scenes. Curious to know from experts (I'm a total AFOL noob) - what is the best pack to get to build this army. I don't care if it's Dark side or Rebels or from what film. Looking purely for opinions on bang for the buck - and can be an old set too.
